Is there any way to make Boston Airport's workshop build things like food, settlement beacon, scavenging table, etc?
Wait, wait...hold the phone. Level with me here a sec, you can't build that stuff at the Boston Airport either?
EDIT:
Oh my fucking God. I have only just now discovered because of your post that by default you, for some stupid ass asinine reason, cannot build specific things at the Boston Airport, specifically things like stores, food, scav stations as you mentioned. I had gone to my wit's end trying to find out why certain things were suddenly missing from the building menu at the airport, and spent hours disabling and re-enabling mods, testing saves, verifying the games cache and consulting with other modders, and the reason was not a mod conflict or any other error but because for some ungodly reason, Bethesda doesn't fucking allow us to build that stuff at the Airport specifically?
Oh sweet Christ almighty, I spent so much damn time trying to find out how to fix a problem that didn't even exist, and I'd still be doing it if I hadn't seen your post. Why in the great fuck's sake is this a thing that exists at all?
Here...this is for you and me: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4969/?
So I noticed some people on Tumblr were bothered by the use of "SS" as an acronym for the Sole Survivor because that commonly refers to the Schutzstaffel. It weirds me out too, but not to the point of being absolutely bothered over it.

I never knew anyone ever called FO4's pc the SS
So in other news, I'm definitely calling the FO4 pc the SS from now on.

The SS would help out those settlements in a completely different way

First time I noticed that effect was when I swooped into a fight between a pair of deathclaw alphas roided the fuck out on psychobuff and buffjet with my super sledge. One of them exploded and coated me in viscera.
Needless to say it was incredible.
Legendary Weapon Crafting is great.
I created an Endless, magically self-reloading "Rokkit Launcha" that definitely works with the power of Waagh. No need for quadruple barrels, but might as well take it for the show.
also I nominate It's a Man as the Johnny Guitar of Fallout 4
every time I want to listen to the radio, the first thing I hear is "GIRLS! (GIRLS!)" and I immediately turn it off
I genuinely like every song on the radio. :v:
I think it would be an interesting setting for Obsidian's next Fallout game to be set somewhere in New Mexico where the NCR would be vying for control over the region against another democratic nation that is essentially a Republic of Texas.

The fact they brought back songs from FO3 tells me they failed to find a satisfactory number of tracks without doing so, though.

Only 10 songs are returning while 30 songs are new, including 5 songs written for the game specifically.
Plus 23 songs for Classical Radio.
I've hit that point where I have nothing but radiant quests left and am being forced to pick a side.
My current quests are: [sp] Mass Fusion, Liberty Reprimed, Undercover blah blah. [/sp]
Is there any nuance to how I can go about it? Can I [sp] Free the synths and rebuild liberty prime[/sp]?
Ugh, this is just the worst part. Having to pick.
try not to overthink it they all suck dick

If you want the best ending, [sp]teleport to the institute and punch Father in the face until all institute quests fail, then leave and follow the new minutemen ending path that just triggered. All factions will survive except the institute if you go this route (and do it correctly).[/sp]
Apparently. I'm not even this far yet, too caught up in side stuff. Just repeating what I've heard.

I don't know why, but I see a lot of characterisation of the Courier as a kind of joker/mischief-maker character. Were they really written like that in NV or is that a personality people are projecting onto the character?
(Either way, I like it)

Significantly more sarcastic reply options than the lone wanderer, maybe?
I forget the context, but there's a moment (in one of the DLCs I think) where you have five dialog options; yes, sarcastic undecided, no, sarcastic no, venemously sarcastic fuck off.

I always picture the Courier as a joker( the cards you get from the Collector's Edition literally make him as the joker) The dialogue you get always had a sarcastic option so it makes sense people make the Courier that way.

fallout nv had a lot more humorous dialogue overall, and a lot of quests give you the option to interpret orders really loosely so you eventually get the idea that if someone sends you on a mission you will get the job done, they just might not be prepared for the way you get it done.
plus its the only recent fallout game where you dont have to join a faction, you , a random mercenary-meets-mailman, can just go behind the backs back's of these huge imposing factions and hatch your own master plan to steal vegas out from under them all, laughing all the way.
There is literally an option to order one of your securitrons to [sp] dismissively throw an ncr general off of the dam [/sp] if you get bored of talking to him.

There are way more new songs than returning ones though, and I guess they decided it was better to have more songs since they already have the licences for the ones used in Fallout 3. Hell, there are more new pre-War songs in Fallout 4 (25) plus Magnolia's songs (5 extra, making 30 in total) than Fallout 3 had on GNR including all of the instrumental tracks (20), and there are literally about 2 dozen classical pieces as well.
It's pretty hard to find a 'satisfactory' number of songs which fit the Fallout setting and don't get repetitive extremely fast, they said that they started off with literally hundreds and narrowed it down to those 30. I mean, even with the narrowed-down tracks, I've still heard complaints about roughly a third of all the tracks in the game.

Yet to me it feels like I only hear the old songs most of the time, it's a shame.

Depends if you count the DLC or not because New Vegas' DLCs had insanely long introductions for most of the important characters.
Nah, just the base game compared to Fallout 4 base game. Also, just talking about dialog options, not the dialog NPCs have to say to you.
Depends. If we remove every "Tell me about yourself" and "What do you do here? and "I want to talk about something else now", then 4 probably wins.

Lonesome Road's final chit chat with Ulysses was probably the most drawn out thing on earth. I think a literal hour can go by and he'd still have an hours worth of bs to drone on about.
Actually pretty stupid too most of the times you can't ask NPCs things like "Tell me about yourself ", I like hearing backstories of characters.
I actually didn't really like that. A lot of the time it was incredibly unnatural. No one in real life goes out of their way to talk to random people and ask them about their life story on the spot. In quite a few instances, asking someone their life story was the only dialogue choice available. I think Obsidian lampshaded this a bit when you ask about Papa Khan's life.
It was much better when it was a bit more fleshed out, though. Conversations with companions and more important characters like Hsu were a lot more realistic and engaging.

Ulysses has got to be one of my least favourite characters ever. In a game that had a lot of very human, flawed characters, it was puzzling to say the least to have someone as ridiculous as Ulysses.
