More emphasis in what regard? I have the mod list and the only things the others list are the plots. Would you want the gameplay videos or something in there as well?
I made an OP since no one else was doing it.
Thoughts?
It's getting done. I added your mods list to the Fallout 4 section, which looks pretty shit right now, but I'm working on that.
Also why didn't you just copy and paste the formatting and banners when making this? Looks weird. :v:

I could swap the order from New going down to Old, if people would really like.
to be honest it always irritates me how gender is purely cosmetic in 90% of games, I feel like it'd be a hell of a lot more immersive if people treated you differently depending on your character's gender. I know Wasteland 2 did that and it definitely helped me feel more immersed.
Mount and Blade did it the best way, nobody lets women do politics in medieval times but they become underdog folk heroes by literally fighting the patriarchy

I didn't like the formatting with the banners since they were old and imo pretty ugly. I decided to keep things simple and less cluttered (while still looking 'new' in a way, since the OP has been copy/pasted for decades)
Well the OP is up to date now, I've just got to add in a proper banner for Fallout 4, and fix up some links on stuff.

Actually Mount and Blade Warband being a female is a better way to start your own empire because you can rebel from the kingdom at anytime, so long as you have a husband who is a lord of said kingdom, Who basically becomes you servant and mechanically becomes your first lord in your empire. But on your original point i agree it is the best way it has been handled.

For the mods as well, please credit Sgt Doom on the first page for originally compiling the list. I only added onto what he started
btw, i'd recommend using this mod if you like the classic fo1 & fo2 music such as myself

I think I've realised that I play the Bethesda and Obsidian Fallout games for different reasons. The roleplaying capability in Fallout 4 is gimped a little bit (unless you don't mind conversations being stuck in 1-2 vaguely distinct personalities, 'nice' and 'occasionally a dick'), but the perk system in my opinion really does allow you to make an interesting, unique character abilities-wise and makes every level feel like you're making an important decision. And as much as I love the little stories which show up in Fallout 3 and 4, I also really enjoy the bigger picture that tends to be apparent in New Vegas, where the information is perhaps more obvious but often has to be pieced together over the course of hours to figure out what's really happening.
Either way, I guess I'm just easily pleased, I do think New Vegas and 4 are both fantastic games and 3 was pretty good for a relatively new foray from almost a decade ago.
Man I hope someone remakes the pieces for Ashur's power armor in FO4, that thing was metal as hell.
Mount and Blade did it the best way, nobody lets women do politics in medieval times but they become underdog folk heroes by literally fighting the patriarchy
IIRC women did do politics in medieval times though, at least the early portions of it from before the plague set everything back harder than the Fall of the Western Roman Empire. Not on an equal playing field or with the same range of options, but there were some fairly influential women in the political and religious (essentially political lol) circles.
Entirely offtopic, I guess, but being a pedant I had to bring it up. :v:
That being said, we do need more RPGs with consequences for things like race, gender, etc-- agency is about having an effect, not getting exactly what you want.

Actually, I don't think Mount & Blade handled it amazingly well. Being a woman got people to insult your womanhood and changed your stats a little, as well as peoples' starting opinion of you, but if you were a noblewoman, you got the second best horse in the game (spirited courser, only the champion courser is better) whereas a male noble got a choice between the worst horse in the game and a gimped version of the worst horse in the game.

Or even better:

That might not be hard to recreate, just gotta slap a yao guai head mesh onto the side of a power armor suit
Anyway, I finally got myself the jetpack for my X01 but the thing consumes AP way too fast, I think I need more AP or regeneration because it's ridiculous
Turning shadow distance from ultra to medium almost doubles my frame rate, but on the other hand it just looks awkward and distracting going close to a building and then a shadow suddenly appears on it.

yep
once again Bethesda proves it can't do shadow calculations in an optimized fashion.
but interestingly enough no matter the shadow distance setting is set I always get 20 fps looking north and downward ontop of the trinity tower.

there is a mod for this that adjusts your distance on the fly based on your fps

aren't shadows universally hard on performance? this seems like an arbitrary complaint against bethesda

It's not really an arbitrary complaint. Skyrim's shadows were notoriously framerate killers while also still looking like ass.
I bet they still have a similar system in place for FO4 that could be better optimized.
Is there any real benefit from the tougher power armor? The t51 upgraded is pretty good, I know I can get a much better suit from the brotherhood just by asking nicely but are the numbers that different
X-01 has very high defense, T-45 is cheapest to repair, the other two are kinda average, raider armor is garbage but abundant.
T51 has the best protection/repair ratio, it only costs steel to repair, and is only slightly weaker than the T60.
It also comes with the second most badass looking helmet, right after the X01.
Raider power armor is good as a display armor
looks like V.A.T.S. can detect more than just enemies

Blue?
I hope the color of my pip boy is blue

Each suit is 200 more DR than the last. T-51 is 200 more DR than T-45, and T-60 is 200 more DR than that.
This also goes for the upgraded pieces. T-51f is 200 more DR than T-45f, and T-60f is 200 more DR than that.

I use light blue, somewhere between that and cyan. Stands out from most everything in the environment, and is easy on the eyes when using the pip boy.

I was making a reference to the sarcastic comment you can make towards Mama Murphy, I knew I should have made that clearer.
