Raiders have a weird way to bury the dead. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16349584/fallout%204/377160_2015-12-15_00001.png[/t]
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7251/? :v:
Yeah I had a look at this stuff before, and I don't think it's really possible to create proper target seeking shots for the vast majority of weapons that work without bugs. At the very least, it won't be possible to do it until the GECK, and even then it might require F4SE scripting. Bethesda set it up so that the weapon mods that add target seeking shots change the weapon's existing projectile to one that has the target seeking settings applied. This works fine for the missile launcher, as none of the default mods change the projectiles. However, weapon mods that add suppressors change the projectiles to be silenced versions (which is incredibly inefficient, as all the silenced versions seem to do is change the muzzleflash). Mods that change the firing type (like the Plasma Flamethrower mod, the Laser Gun's Beam Splitter etc) also change the projectiles, but that's a bit less useless than the silenced versions. I think that receiver mods that change the ammunition of guns change the projectiles as well, but I'm not one hundred percent sure on that, as I've never tested that properly. I can't see any real way around this in FO4Edit currently, so target seeking mods will always conflict with those other weapon mods for the time being. And as that video shows, it's incredibly buggy when you apply it to the Fat Man, which I believe is why Bethesda cut the mod (even though all the assets exist for a model of it). That, and it won't work with the MIRV mod, for the reasons above.
Assault Rifle with a compensator looks like a car's exhaust pipe.
Eh I didn't really want to have all the family killed, plus the benefits of killing him far outweighed everything
piece of shit gamma gun sidegrade vs unlimited serum that gives +5 strength, +50 DR, and rad removal for a whole hour. the choice is clear
nonsense, siding with lorenzo gives you infinite mysterious serums, which eat up 36,000 rads and have other benefits too.
But I don't need that though, I'm already tanking around in pretty radiation proof armor, I have high rad resistance, and the strength buff is pointless because Im built for long-guns anyway, and DR isn't a problem either plus I still have 11 doses of the stuff and I can't think of anything short of liberty prime that could put up enough of a fight
One of these should be modded in, an appropriately sized pistol for power armour.
There is something I feel off about Assault Rifle's reload animation. All other weapons reload animations are decently animated but the assault rifle one feels really "fallout3ish".I feel like the assault rifle has the worst reload animation, the way the camera moves in first person view while reloading is also a bit weird, it doesn't feel as smooth as other reload animations.
i spent most of my time in fallout four trying to pretent cabot house wasn't in the game fallout really isn't the setting that needs literal no downsides immortality serum look what happened to wasteland, the fountain of youth killed that series for a fifth of a century [editline]30th December 2015[/editline] I don't know what i dislike more, cabot house or ghoul child fridge quest [editline]30th December 2015[/editline] seriously, that quest could've been in elder scrolls and you would have to change like three lines

Oh also I do love the ingame clock and calendar , its pretty cool and I just noticed it but when it turned to December 25th, diamond city put up trees and lights and stuff, pretty interesting
Okay why are people saying lorenzo's artifact is bad again? If you have a gunslinger build you can put the electric signal carrier on it and do like 300+ damage per shot spread over three types (four types technically, it inflicts blast damage and "pure" damage which bypasses resistances altogether). Nothing is immune to all three, and EVERYTHING gets knocked the fuck over on a direct hit to their weak point, letting you just stunlock things to death or stagger groups with the AoE alone. Investing in the explosives perk and using it in VATS with high LCK and better criticals just breaks the rest of the game.
Maybe Fallout 4 and everything that happens in the game are not real, perhaps they are all just imaginations of the Dragonborn dreaming about what being a hero in a futuristic fantasy world could be like.
I know you're joking, but goddamn do I hate plot twists like that.
Maybe Fallout 4 and everything that happens in the game are not real, perhaps they are all just imaginations of the Dragonborn dreaming about what being a hero in a futuristic fantasy world could be like.
fucking CHIM
I wish there was an actual musket.
I actually get so happy and shocked when I go inside a new area and find that the people inside don't just instantly shoot at me and I can actually talk to them that's kinda upsetting it's so rare
I want lever rifles, proper revolver rifles, a clone of the thompson g2 (which can be either a pistol or a rifle), a tranq pistol/rifle (blinds and ragdolls the victim temporarily), an upgrade to the fat man that increases damage and radius (but makes it more dangerous to the user), a "suppressed" upgrade for laser weapons (it changes their laser frequency to infrared so they're invisible), etc etc etc. [editline]t[/editline] Also more caliber changes please. I want a .50 revolver that has laughably atrocious recoil but does like 150 a shot base damage and sounds like god slamming his car door.
I don't know what i dislike more, cabot house or ghoul child fridge quest
The fridge kid, easily. Fallout has a lot of paranormal crap in it like telepathy, aliens, ghosts, super mutant wizards, etc. Some alien-blood vigor serum is not as big a stretch as the kid who literally sat in a fridge for 200 years without eating, growing, being discovered by somebody else, or going completely bonkers insane in his isolation. That's not occult or mysterious, it's just retarded.
Well ghouls age at a reduced rate. So him not being fully grown up would make sense. However everything else is bullshit.
that cthulhu lovecraft quest in dunwich bores was pretty cool
Honestly, if a return to the Capital Wastes was part of Fallout 4's DLC, I'd still be happy. I kinda want to see the difference 10 years have done.

I hate that you have to completely destroy factions to beat the game. That means there will either be a "canon faction" or the events of this game will never be talked about in another fallout game. Either way will make people upset and make it hard to make intertwining stories. Not to mention that news of this event would naturally spread very quickly so that makes it even worse. [editline]30th December 2015[/editline]
Would be amazing if we get to revisit Rivet City and Megaton and also get to meet Three Dogs and Butch from Vault 101.Perhaps, the Tunnel Snake would have replaced the Enclave.
Then they would have to have a canon version of the events. Three Dog died in my world. As did Butch.
Where's my "Okay, you guys remember that thing you tried to do a long while ago but fucked up horribly? Yeah we're going to do that again, but I'm going to tell you EXACTLY how to do it differently so it works out this time, AND I'm going to sit in during the proceedings as a nuclear deterrent" ending?

Well, what I had in mind was diplomacy. There would be two main variants of the diplomatic ending; Diplomacy involves uniting two or more factions against the other(s), and true diplomacy sees peace between all major parties. True diplomacy would be hard as fuck to set up though. Pull the needed strings to get the right people representing each faction, choose a faction to act as the ambassador of yourself (or simply act as a mediator), and pass a barrage of difficult speech checks, tests of memory and understanding of faction goals to make sure the whole thing doesn't boil over into a bloodbath midway through. This route is specifically oriented towards high CHR, and is very dialog-heavy. If you can do that though, no factions are destroyed or become hostile to eachother, and you receive the completion reward for the one you acted as the ambassador of. Literally a win-win ending, but you have to work HARD for it.
I hate that you have to completely destroy factions to beat the game.
On my first playthrough, via constantly swapping sides, I managed to get the ending where [sp]the Minutemen explode the Institute but the BOS and Railroad are still both friendly to me.[/sp] I was kinda pleased, cause I like endings like that, then I go to the Railroad for the ballistic weave clothes and PAM is all "You did a really good job murdering the shit out of the Brotherhood. But you need to murder them all some more. Here's a quest.". And the only thing I could say to that was "I know I've murdered the Brotherhood a whole bunch. But I'm real tired of it.". She then gave me the quest anyway, because my choices matter. I also can't discover [sp]Danse is a synth[/sp] because I forgot to give the Brotherhood the holotape and thus I skipped right to them wanting me to [sp]build Liberty Prime[/sp] when the endgame began. Honestly, when the ending slideshow began, [sp]I just assumed the fact it was so brief and lame was because I messed up the story and got an emergency ending somehow, but no.[/sp]
I ran into the guy who sells guard dogs, but forgot my clean black suit. Fortunately, Charisma was so strong that he felt that the overweight bald guy with a bushy beard wearing a Laundered Dress and Fashionable Sunglasses was safe to sell to. He did seem a bit sad to let it go though. And I sadly didn't get a screen.

I wish I could buy more dogs. I want one at every settlement.
