Ok, what's the easiest/best way to manage all that junk and srap for upgrades stuff?
Ok, what's the easiest/best way to manage all that junk and srap for upgrades stuff?
Sell weapons to your vendors, buy all the junk from them, deposit it all in your workshop, go out exploring again.
I have a feeling really lots of people are burned out on Fallout 4, the thread posting rate is back to before it was announced.
It's getting there I guess. The only thing keeping me interested is building big settlements and slowly turning my character into a post apocalyptic god in the process.
One of these should be modded in, an appropriately sized pistol for power armour.
We need some power armour only weapons to be honest, oversized huge ones that physically can not be carried without it, at first I thought the minigun and broadsider would be like that, until I saw a raider just carrying one like its fucking nothing. Bit disappointing. [editline].[/editline] Something else I wish to see later down the line is randomised power armour frames, currently we just have the one perfectly pristine pre-war frame ingame. Where are the raider repaired ones? Where are the rusty as fuck ones? Where are the partially damaged ones? I'd love to see someone come up with a way to randomise the frames.
So uh, I just bought NV, this being my first Fallout game, and I remember seeing a mod that made the weapon and loot system similar to Borderlands. Anyone knows what am I talking about? Or I'm just remembering wrong?

I'm looking for someone who knows their way around models and is a fallout purist to maybe collab with me on this? Or at the very least, I'm looking for critiques. PM me or add me on steam if you want to help, or just want the model to mess with for yourself
I hate that you have to completely destroy factions to beat the game. That means there will either be a "canon faction" or the events of this game will never be talked about in another fallout game. Either way will make people upset and make it hard to make intertwining stories. Not to mention that news of this event would naturally spread very quickly so that makes it even worse.
The Brotherhood of Steel wasn't destroyed, the Prydwen was just a forward operating base. They'll just have a new leader next game. The Institute and the Railroad will be more or less completely inconsequential, they don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, especially not outside the Commonwealth. The Minutemen aren't destroyed in any of the endings as far as I know. They'll probably either just be ignored completely on account of only really being relevant in the Commonwealth like the two other factions, or they'll be mentioned in passing as having stabilized the Commonwealth region once more.

I could see them being the east coast equivalent to the Desert Rangers (pre-NCR), it'd be the first time the actions of a protagonist really affected another game since Fallout 1.

Kind of like the front end of a 70's era Mustang, but somewhat more pronounced. [t]http://mustangattitude.com/mustang/1971/1971_00017_01.jpg[/t]

The lack of goddamn holstered weapons seriously fucks up stealth/sniper gameplay. How are you meant to prioritize targets when you don't know which big green bastard is the one with a rocket launcher?
I'm secretly hoping someone out there will recreate (or import/update) the anti-materiel rifle from New Vegas. The hunting rifle with .50 just isn't big enough
I have a feeling really lots of people are burned out on Fallout 4, the thread posting rate is back to before it was announced.
What if i told you that is literally every game thread ever a month or two after launch
What if i told you that is literally every game thread ever a month or two after launch
I dunno, the GTA thread's been on page 1 since GTAV was released like... two plus years ago.
I dunno, the GTA thread's been on page 1 since GTAV was released like... two plus years ago.
To be fair, GTA is a more popular AAA game to a wider audience that has multiplayer and is still releasing content ever since it came out.

At the very least have a little window pop up in VATS showing what weapons they have equipped if you have the awareness perk. [ ARMED ] [ Automatic 10mm Pistol ] [ Molotov Cocktail ]
At least we know what it's like to be the NPC when the player pull a rocket launcher/fatman/minigun out of his back pocket :v:
I want lever rifles, proper revolver rifles, a clone of the thompson g2 (which can be either a pistol or a rifle), a tranq pistol/rifle (blinds and ragdolls the victim temporarily), an upgrade to the fat man that increases damage and radius (but makes it more dangerous to the user), a "suppressed" upgrade for laser weapons (it changes their laser frequency to infrared so they're invisible), etc etc etc. [editline]t[/editline] Also more caliber changes please. I want a .50 revolver that has laughably atrocious recoil but does like 150 a shot base damage and sounds like god slamming his car door.
I just want the marksman stock for the revolver and pipe rifles to not be simply wrapping a scarf around the already shitty stock, I was expecting wood or polymer, make that gun look good, instead another wire stick yey... In any case my silenced revolver rifle did a pretty great job and forced me to conserve ammo

Thankfully, [sp]I failed that quest by killing all of them, then trying to be like "Sorry" leaving Covenant angry at me, and the settlement location inaccessible to me.[/sp] Speaking of that, I gotta dismiss my Codsworth for a while.. Okay wow now I see why people were telling me to become BFFs with MacCready if I'm using a VATS build. Killshot is crazy-go-nuts broken, I can just waltz into a room and headshot everything in one go. The three raiders at ground level, the four on the upper balcony, the one behind me I didn't even see, and even the one clipping through the wall just barely in view on the other end of the room. All dead before anyone realizes I'm there. [editline]t[/editline] Really with the clocks? I said "I heard that this thing was good and now I know it is", not "HEY GUYS I FOUND THIS NEW THING"
The fridge kid, easily. Fallout has a lot of paranormal crap in it like telepathy, aliens, ghosts, super mutant wizards, etc. Some alien-blood vigor serum is not as big a stretch as the kid who literally sat in a fridge for 200 years without eating, growing, being discovered by somebody else, or going completely bonkers insane in his isolation. That's not occult or mysterious, it's just retarded.
ghouls dont age and ferals go without eating all the time (think of all the ferals in the pulowski preservation chambers) but not going insane or being discovered is pretty improbable
With regards to DLC, I'd like to go to the Capital Wasteland to see how things have gone down. As much as I'd also like to see what happened in the Mojave after New Vegas, if that was a thing we'd probably get a "every possible ending happened and somehow everything is fine!1" thing like with Oblivion. Also, some sort of use for Settlements other than glue/oil/water factories disguised as "homes". And a cat companion. Even though historically cat companions have little more than glass agility tanks. Be it just a cat that pulls a Dogmeat or some sort of Wild Wasteland'esque Toonces the Power-Armor Using Cat.
I wouldn't mind seeing a modern take on what happened to Chicago at some point, honestly. Either in a new game itself or in a DLC. I can see it being avoided because of Fallout Tactics (though it'd allow the developer to decide what they want to keep of it as canon), but the whole airship part of it could fit well with Fallout 4's Prydwen. Plus, there's meant to Enclave outposts in Chicago, so it could be a nice way to bring them back.
Be prepared to get angry at the pre-placed turrets that you cannot clean-up without a console command.
Hopefully it's not like those ladders in what-you-call-it settlement which cannot simply be targeted in console.
The [sp] Memory Den [/sp] seem like a route to have a lot more "out of world" expansions like Operation Anchorage or Mothership Zeta. I wouldn't mind one expansion on some of the in-game fiction like Zetans, Grognak and Silver Shroud. Doing "episodes" from the comic books through the [sp] Memory Den [/sp] I wouldn't mind an expansion on The Glowing Sea, delve even deeper into it. Find some big cool ruined thing, maybe a nuked military base, old Enclave base. Maybe do another "boat along the coast" type thing up towards Salem or down to Manhattan.
