Why did these come out tinted red? [t]http://imgkk.com/i/cb6k.jpg[/t]
Unity is very fussy with PNG files. Ideally you want to use .jpg, or save your .pngs in the right format.
Unity is very fussy with PNG files. Ideally you want to use .jpg, or save your .pngs in the right format.
Well shit, it's 10mb instead of 3 when I save it as .jpg.
PNGs are terrible file formats unless the image is simple, with few colors, if file size is an issue. A solid square is going to be super small file size, but using the same settings, a complicated picture like a photo of a forest, even with the same resolution, is going to be significantly higher. Even much higher than a .Jpg should be
I'm not really into the general kind of boardgames (lets say monopoly, chess), but I'd love to try some D&D esque game (with a GM and all that). Think I should give this a chance? 11 dollars seems to be just doable.
If you don't like regular boardgames, then no. It's not really in a good state for tabletop RPGs yet. [editline]22nd April 2014[/editline]
Well shit, it's 10mb instead of 3 when I save it as .jpg.
Then you're doing something ridiculously wrong. Save as a lower quality JPEG instead of the max quality instead :v:
[t]http://imgkk.com/i/mbn9.jpg[/t] Much better. I've got a GIMP template but this game has 59 different cards. Not going to be fun.
Someone needs to make the monsters and pieces for Arkham Horror. Would be so boss.
Bought this for myself and a few friends. It's hilariously fun drunk. Time to make my own board game.
Has anyone made the entire set of Mousetrap yet, because if not this game is nothing.
[t]http://imgkk.com/i/j1xf.jpg[/t] How do you guys think these look so far?
Someone needs to make the monsters and pieces for Arkham Horror. Would be so boss.
Someone has been working on Arkham Horror already. I don't know if it's completely finished or not but the thread is here.
I was going to say the same thing. I can't wait to set off the traps and watch the ball roll for like 3 hours, and not even play the game. [editline]22nd April 2014[/editline]
How do you guys think these look so far?
Looks good boss.
I regret spending my $30 on PSN now because this looks fun as hell.
I think the real problem be that people buy the game expecting to play some physics sandbox where they can fuck around with people. Really its meant a a digital platform for card games and board games. Don't get it if you aren't entertained by real card games and board games.
well it doesn't help that the official trailers are all " haha table flip "
The real reason to buy Tabletop Simulator. [t]http://imgkk.com/i/r3c_.jpg[/t]
WHAT EVEN IS THIS. I'd like to know. I'd also like to hope someone does Monsterpocalypse for Table Sim, it's an awesome tabletop miniatures game, and I saw a video with animated game pieces, so that would make it even cooler.
well it doesn't help that the official trailers are all " haha table flip "
tbh, you can just reset the table after people fucked around and continue.
you know what we need? Dungeon Dice Monsters
I had this, it kinds sucked. How does the multiplayer work? Do you need a dedicated server or anything for people to play on?
I had this, it kinds sucked. How does the multiplayer work? Do you need a dedicated server or anything for people to play on?
It doesn't seem like it. I started a server without doing anything and it filled up pretty fast.
It doesn't seem like it. I started a server without doing anything and it filled up pretty fast.
awesome, good to know you don't need to set up some complex shit. Now I just gotta get enough cash for a copy for a friend [Editline]shit[/editline] GUYS WAIT http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1379916
WHAT EVEN IS THIS. I'd like to know.
It's card game called Barbarossa and as you can clearly see it's from Japan ;). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1662858658/barbarossa-anime-card-game-from-japan - Explanation how to play. How do competitive card games like mtg/poker/cards against humanity etc work in this? can't you see other peoples cards?
How do competitive card games like mtg/poker/cards against humanity etc work in this? can't you see other peoples cards?
You can drag them into your private 'area' above your name - acting like a hand. Other people can see question marks in the place of the cards. The only downside is that people can literally yank cards out of your hand. Hilarious when playing monopoly and friends aren't paying attention, but can be quite frustrating! :v:
how do mods work in multiplayer, does every player have to download the mod or what.
how do mods work in multiplayer, does every player have to download the mod or what.
You upload the pictures to a picture sharing site and then just paste the URL in-game. It's kinda like viewing a picture on Facepunch. As long as the file remains uploaded to that picture sharing site, everyone can see it.

Think I should give this a chance? 11 dollars seems to be just doable.
It's really pretty rudimentary in terms of DnD. The complex creature models draw people in, but really, there are browser-based systems that are far more convenient, mostly for the sake of allowing the DM to modify the map on the fly. Whereas in Tabletop Simulator, you either upload a single image representing your current map, or painstakingly build one out of the very limited dungeon setpieces included in the game. Then hope nobody fucks it up, either purposely or by accident.
Just bought the game and I'd love to play Cards of Humanity some time.
well it doesn't help that the official trailers are all " haha table flip "
Seriously, this pissed me off so much. I was wading through the Steam reviews, looking for information on the controls and mechanics and moddability, and every review was just "u can flip the table!!!! 11/10" "le table flip xDDDDDD" "ur telling me I can flip the table? D1P!" And of course, 100% of ratings found those reviews helpful. There are seriously people out there paying $12 for a "hilarious" physics gimmick they're going to try 5 times and then never touch again.
didn't see this in the thread but the singleplayer part of the game is free http://www.berserk-games.com/ts/downloads/
so will we ever see a fallout new vegas poker card deck mod in this game because if so i guess i won't have any reason not to buy it

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one, my old group is badgering the shit out of me to DM my campaign and I was hoping to find an easier way to manage encounters. I've seen the way it works in Tabletop and though it's cool, it doesn't really improve anything (no initiative tracking, no HP display, etc) I can see Tabletop being much more useful for things like 40k, though admittedly measuring out everything with plastic sticks in-game does sound funny as hell
so if somebody modded desperate gods into this would the universe just explode.
