Nothing quite like rounding a corner to someone activating Slow Pause, and ending up dead a second later no matter what you do.

-You can pick up katanas stuck to a surface if you have the kung fu power-up.
-During slow-mo, you can press the stunt button and pretend to be Neo.

Is there a steam group I can join? Would be easier to get in if there were announcements to when you guys are playin.

Some sort of a steam group would be nice imo, because then we could just all hop the fuck in if we see a game announcement, instead of having to check for the server.
Since most of us aren't really keen on joining the server when it's empty.

We do have one, but whoever the leader is (Glitchman?) should elect some moderators so they can post announcements when peeps are playing

also Glitch's protip of the day:
If you're going to stunt while shooting at someone, might as well do the sliding one (stunt while looking down) This way you have plenty of time to get the 2x kills slide bonus. Also, if someone is running at you trying to kung-fu you, slide backwards to give yourself around a second more time before getting disarmed

Big tip for better FPS:
gl_vsync 0
It turns off ingame vsync, which caps the game at your refresh rate. I've never seen an instance where Vsync is necessary in HL1, so this is pretty useful in TS. I think you'll still be capped at 100fps though.

It literally just removes the refresh-rate based cap and gives you a lot margin for error, FPS-wise.
So basically, playing at 60 fps is pretty much handicapping yourself? Well that might've explained why the mod kind of died.
I've been playing at 70 FPS and I haven't noticed any handicap though, even compared to kung fu shitlords

I've been playing at 60 fps myself falling down to 50 occasionally and I haven't really spotted a handicap myself.
But well, if it's related to stunt stuff, it'd be difficult to notice. I'd test it but well, my pc is shit :v:

It'd be cool to have a little FP only TDM, dividing teams by skill
There is capture and you can set up games as TDM but from what I remember team deathmatch is about the most crash-happy thing in TS
TDM you could go all vs me and I'd still own u all.
Well probably not because some of you dudes are fucking good at this shit but I can hope ok
Otherwise it'd be really nice to check out the other modes sometime.
i'm hopping on the ts fightclub server if anyone wants to populate it and have a game
it would be fun to just have Kung-Fu and do the entire Half-Life story, too bad you would have to make a seperate mod and I haven't a clue how.
