I don't want to sound like an idiot but where do you install this to? it used to be steamapps\email or steam account\half-life\ but now it's steamapps\common\half-life, right? either way I do it it won't show up on my account. I don't see why people want to play on a server where everyone's ping is over 120 except for like 2 people.

I like trying all the various weapons. Shotguns suck for me but Desert Eagles and MP5Ks are alllllright. :v:

The Specialists, Action Half-Life, and The Opera were amazing HL1 mods. They all went for the action movie thing, but in pretty different ways. Opera mookmatches (players move through a level filled with hundreds of one-shottable guys, but they can die easily as well) and Specialists RP (Mecklenberg lol) were my favourites. Also on my list were Natural Selection, Sven-Coop, Battlegrounds, Day of Defeat... all great mods, but my favourite mod was a unique and little known one called Kanonball. Two teams of genetically enhanced clones play an advanced form of handball basically. Lots of body contact and getting knocked on your ass, lots of team work and cool passes. It was really fun but it never caught on. Apparently it evolved into Steel Halo but I never saw that.

the best thing about the specialists roleplaying was outrunning everyone (Holding down W and tapping your A and D keys) so you just constantly rob the 7/11 in mecklenburg and run away not that it ever achieves anything

Man, this game is fun. Though using the Contender makes me feel like an asshole, it's just too fun to not use it but its so strong.
