I'll put something up tomorrow If I can get AMX Mod rolling (for map voting), shouldn't take too long.
Jesus, I couldn't manage to fix it today, missing libs bonanza.
Going to message vino(one of the creators) or some other guy who knows more tomorrow to get this shit working.

The easiest way to deal with kung-fu masters (aka shitlords) is to run with the double-barrel shotgun and fill em w/ buckshot the second they get close. Don't be afraid to use it at moderate range, that gun is akin to the shotgun in titanfall, albeit with a smaller mag size (it can reload hella quick though)
Agreed, the sawed-off is the best counter to fu-shitlords. :v:
I mean people with OP ass guns are one problem, people who are good are another
BUT THOSE GODDAMN KUNG FU SHITLORDS I TELL YOU WHAT
I can spend all day fighting guns with guns and tend to be ok but two kicks and lol dead (oh btw were you shooting at me lol didn't feel a thing)
Whats with the rp servers, I join, after a while I get shot at by a guy with dual pistols, I disarm him and shoot him when he continues to attack and Im kicked and banned
Person kills me three or more times in a row, doesn't get banned.

Nearly all the TSRP servers (that are left) are basically a hierarchy with some kid at the top, basically they let their friends (gang leader) DM and fuck around in general with 9 million in cash and half the map's properties, and then ban people who mess with said friend.
Generally, if you want a fair TSRP server, you'll have to set one up yourself (which isn't hard just time consuming, ive done it a few times, you basically have to go in-game and find the entity names of all the doors and assign their names and values one by one for the script.)
Otherwise you're usually best off joining the police force, theyre usually surprisingly well run and uncorrupt usually (when I played anyways), and its very easy to crack down and make whatever gang is in town fear you.
Fuck.
Lots of good people on tonight, can't touch top of scoreboard

I haven't played this mod since the half life files were fucked around with by valve. All my mods disappeared, and I'm still not sure where to put all my old half life mods.

Valve has moved the half-life folder from username/Half-life to common/Half-Life, that is where your mods go now.
I have pretty found memories of Bad-Habits TSRP.
Hmm I was thinking of getting back into this game recently.
There was a standalone version drifting around once, MAYBE I still have it somewhere.
Though I'm not sure that's legal - do you need to own half-life 1 nowadays to play it's mods?

I was carrying six pairs of pistols that day.
Whenever a pair went empty, i'd just drop them to go to the next pair.
Reloading is for tossers; obviously.
Killed about 4, 5 men that were after me, after I hear a *CLICK* right after I shoot the last guy in the head.
A second later three knives land next to my head in the wall, *TCHINK, TCHINK, TCHINK*.
I feel a sharp pain in my ear - I think one of the knives nicked me.
Without thinking twice, I drop my pistols, yank one of the shanks out of the wall and fling my arm around, releasing the knife back towards the direction it came from.
I see the man who tried to assassinate me, the knife stuck right between the eyes.
He's got a shocked look in his eyes, right before slumps to the ground.
I scan the area for any more enemies, none in sight.
I pick up the AK from one of the guys I dropped, grab a mag, and make sure I'm ready for the next contact.

Oh god, I think I just creamed my pants. This was the best server in any game.
Do they still exist?
I loved this game, Havoc9 was my grind. At some point I got to be the Director of their super fascist space police after a rebellion completely destroyed their higher leadership.
After that I went to the tunnels to offer to work as a double agent for the rebellion, I ended up leading the rebels in a supposed takeover of the police station and once we entered in the front gate I had my loyalists immediately arrest their leaders, kangaroo court them and then publicly execute them on the front steps of the police station.
It was awesome. Ahhh fun times.
oh man this brings me back to all the fucking stunt maps, as well as that one moving train map.
I am so down for some of this.
[editline]1st April 2014[/editline]
Oh shit I actually still have this installed, I probably have all the old maps too.
God fucking damnit I keep trying to download this but it keeps failing
Is the game worth it for someone who doesn't have rose tinted glasses?
Honestly if you get the high-poly models, the only thing that looks terrible are the level/level textures. There are nice particles for the bullet impacts, good gun effects, slow mo effects are great. Really the graphics aren't bad enough to notice and the gameplay is better than most things nowadays. Very little glitching and solid controls. Netcode is neat too, even with 100 ping or so.

The more i play this, the more i start to hate it because of the Bunnyhopping Kung-Fu twats.

to counter a bunnyhopping kung-fu twat, you must become one
Embrace the lifestyle to overcome it.
I just hope its not GunZ bad bunnyhopping kung fu twatting

It's around that level of sheer annoyance.
imho unlike in gunz, killing these kungfu twats isn't that difficult. I'm more worried about the guys who actually can shoot back and are accurate.
After all in here, a few bullets is all you need to stop them and you have plenty of tools to make room between yourself and them.
Let me try and fix my monitor before i jump in, the left side of the screen is a little red and blurry and i don't know how that happened.
Guns > Kung Fu, if the gun wielder is really good at aiming. It's also hard to be really good at kung fu, so it balances out really.
Everytime I get killed by a kung fu-er it's usually because I just totally fail to kill them before they get to me, or they hit me from behind.
Jesus that Angels' Share guy is fucking annoying
