i remember the mod hostile intent being probably THE best half-life mod out there. it had tons of really well-made maps (in terms of navigation and objectives) and had solid gameplay mechanics that I wish people remade today. The biggest issue with the game was that you could dolphin dive and iron sight up which made it impossible to hit you PLUS you could amp up the footstep sounds and hear players clear across the map which in turn made attacking an objective almost impossible since someone would camp it and destroy you with a grenade

arg. I hate that whenever people are like "FUCK YEAH LET'S PLAY THE SPECIALISTS" it just becomes a TSRP fest. TSRP is fun and all but you have to be there from the beginning or else you just feel like an idiot since nobody ever wants to help you get in to it. you've got cops and gangsters and the newbie standing in between who doesn't really belong and nobody wants them in their clique of cool mudda fuggas and then the server just kills itself.
that's why garry's mod roleplay servers are a joke. that and whenever people have those serious half-life 2 roleplays, all of the rowdy 14 year olds become combine and just kill citizens just because they have access to guns even though the citizens and rebels are the people legitimately trying to roleplay

I agree, it makes the game more surprising, if you're always just playing against people on your own skill level, you're probably not going to improve :v:

Well, If i'm going to train jumping from big heights, you think it would be a bright idea to start from 5 meters? Because fuck that, at 1-2 meters I will never improve.
You can't go level 1 against level 100, like those "badasses" are. Seriously, the amount of stuff they do to achieve my death is looking so ridiculous at times on my screen I literally laugh at the monitor.

Well, if we shut those people out, it's going to end up being like half the amount of people we could get otherwise, since the playerbase is so small we don't have much choice :v:

TS Installer probably installed it in the wrong folder. You need to place the 'ts' folder under steam/steamapps/common/half-life/
