I fixed the black lines by updating the nVidia drivers.
More like whats up with your perspective? It looks like your game went TA mode. :v:
What you mean with Total Annihilation mode? Isn´t the game supposed to look like this?
Is there a way to turn off the building beams? They seem to severely impact my FPS, especially late game when you have a shit ton of guys running all over the place.
Im considering buying this while it's £26, but I rarely spend that much on games and I wanna know if it is actually worth it. Is the game in a playable state right now? Is it actually fun and will stay fun for a while?

Is it actually fun and will stay fun for a while?
The game is playable if your computer can run it. The game is fun and much more enjoyable if you play with friends. The game is still missing a lot of units, mechanics, tuning, details and other gimmicky stuff. Last update Beta Build: 57703 Lobby Passwords: Long awaited, make sure you can lock down your games to your friends. You'll need to share the password with them of course. Major start spot and metal placement fixes. Please report if you're still finding significant unbuildable metal spots. Keep in mind, if you have very craggy planets, this can result in anemic start spots in terms of metal. Numerous Linux Fixes: We've implemented SDL on Linux, which should enable full screen, fix issues with backspace doubling up, and a number of other errant behaviors A number of server and client crash fixes Loading screen is back: Should help make it clear when there is loading going on Improved visualization of orbital paths/trajectory changes in Celestial view Improvements to metal planet pathing and moon pathing Support for audio on multiple planets now; Should make planet audio less confusing! Bombers now use a carpet bombing technique. This will change their overall bombing behavior. Play around with them a bit. This will still require additional tuning, but consider it the first pass. Their numbers have been adjusted quite a bit to take these changes into account. Hiding your commander underwater will be much less effective now. Unit guard layer consistency pass
Project Update #54: Planetary Annihilation Now Coming When It's Done Posted by Uber Entertainment Inc ♥ Like In order to deliver the best possible experience to our current and future players, we're postponing the estimated release of Planetary Annihilation to ... when it's done. That means Planetary Annihilation will launch when we feel confident about its level of polish and the amount of awesome we can jam into it. We don't have a hard date moving forward. However, we do expect it to be feature-complete in early 2014. “We are extremely happy at what we’ve been able to accomplish with the game so far, but we want to take some additional time to make sure we are releasing the best game we can," said Jon Mavor CTO of Uber Entertainment. "I want to thank everyone who kickstarted and pre-ordered the game again because without you this game wouldn’t have became a reality." About a year ago, you guys got together and bought into our vision. We've been delivering ever since then. We've added a lot of fantastic new mechanics and units and features over the last year -- and we're adding bunch more in the near future. Features coming online soon include area commands, a new camera, a stargate unit, and a complete rethink of the orbital unit set. This is a moment to celebrate. We're taking extra time to polish up, tweak, balance, and engineer the full game that you want. Your feedback is important and we can't wait to see you at the finish line.

They still need to fix the planet crashing animation.
Good, I felt the game still looked nowhere near release standard. They still need to fix the planet crashing animation.
I have never been able to see the animation at all. I've tried about three times and the game has either crashed or freezes for a bit then resumes with everyone dead and a crater where the planet hit. With that said, does the AI even utilize space units yet? I've been playing the newest builds since I haven't played for a while and even with well developed bases they never seem to build the orbital launchers.
New update:
Beta Build: 58197 Interplanetary Nukes - Bodies in orbit can now nuke each other. This is still a work in progress, but we think this feature nicely expands interplanetary warfare. Orbital Camera Overhaul - We have a new integrated camera with more degrees of freedom and, more importantly, none of the crazy disorientation when zooming in from celestial view. Give it a shot and tell us what you think! Kick / Kick-Ban - Now you can kick players from your matches. This is a pretty heavily requested feature, so we're stoked to introduce the concept with this update. Twitch.TV Integration - Now you can stream your matches from in-game! Just sign in to Twitch from the settings menu and start streaming immediately. Changes To Unit / Building Selection - Complete re-write of selection logic. This is mostly internal, but some behaviors have changed. Let us know which corners we forgot to round off. Tech 1 Bot Factory Redesign - Bot factories have a newer, more distinct look.
https://forums.uberent.com/threads/beta-build-58197.54619/
To be honest I was never a fan of the superweapons in Supreme Commander, I thought it just ruined the fun of smashing armies together or building forward outposts to place your artillery. There were anti-nukes but they cost as much as the nuke itself.
I'm happy they added an interplanetary destruction option aside from sats or planet smashing. "Super Weapons" are useful when trying to kill an enemy that is running and running in order to prolong the game.
Beta Build: 58678 Area Attack: With unit(s) selected (bombers particularly are great), click and drag on an area you want to attack. All selected units will proceed to attack all available units in the area. If you don't have recon on it, it will simply act as an attack move until it gets vision and will start to area attack. Area Build: Currently two types of drag build commands exist. Circle for things like power, and line for things like defenses, factories, etc. Area Reclaim: Unit(s) will find all reclaimable wreckage in the area until all wreckage is gone. Area Repair: Unit(s) will find all repairable units in the area to repair until nothing needs repairing. Notification System: This will notify you of important game events Planet Smashing: The paths asteroids take now to smash a planet also looks a lot better. Interplanetary Nukes: You can now nuke from one moon to another moon orbiting the same planet Big art changes to Metal planets Quite a few UI polish items. Anti-nukes now start with one missile in their bay. The launcher is now more expensive to compensate for this.
https://forums.uberent.com/threads/beta-build-58678.54860/
Since the game is on sale today; is it worth purchasing at the sale price as it is currently?
Is it normal that I cannot start bot games? I press the Publish button and nothing happens.
Justified thread bump: so I decided to use the planet smashing feature for the first time today aaannndd..... [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/A9VKSMg.jpg[/thumb] NOW I AM BECOME DEATH, THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS

However the planet would be easy pickings, and you could set up there.

All the videos I've seen of it the stutter usually takes so long that it skips the actual blowing up.
Oh jesus christ. I just finished a 2 hour-long game. It lasted that long because the host make it a 5 planet system, with two asteroids that need 25 halleys to launch. Since the only times people launch planets is on 3 halley moons, i just had to keep finding weak points in his defenses on his moon, set up a teleporter, and send a small army. Eventually i got 7 nukes, cleared a beachhead, and sent a 700 unit army through, which cleared him out. I am physically and emotionally drained, but it was worth watching their last commander be overwhelmed by hundreds of bots.
Nothing's more awful than doing that, then watching as the enemy launches their comm to another planet. However the planet would be easy pickings, and you could set up there.
Not always. I actually had a teleporter to another planet in the system without a moon, and was able to get my commander out when the "package" was still en route. You could have a base of any size set up on the other side of that wormhole, your opponent would never know until the planet would be nigh impregnable. I still think the addition of a unit cannon and other planet to planet options is desperately needed.

I was lucky to have the planet his moon was orbiting, because otherwise i couldn't use nukes. My dream now is to send a 700 unit army through a unit cannon. not only that, but with an area command similar to area patrol, so they're scattered. Just imagine hundreds of bots raining from the sky trying to clear out the bombers and artillery.
whats up does anyone play this game anymore its now in gamma phase
I'll trade someone a BF4 Origin key for Planetary Annihilation. Any takers? [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] Nevermind, someone already took the trade.
whats up does anyone play this game anymore its now in gamma phase
I play this game frequently. Just seems that nobody on facepunch likes it enough to keep the htread going.
Time to get money and buy this, I really like the game from what I have seen, It looks awesome!
So I started it up again after a long time. The game runs much better, preformance and gameplay wise. The game is now really enjoyable and playable, still not finished but it's heading there.
How much is missing compared to the "dream of release"? I am really looking forward to this game but I generally don't do early access. I prefer to play complete games.
Can't wait to play on maps with more then 3 worlds. My computer completely freezes up when i have 4 worlds or more. 4 GB RAM with a i7 here, i am guessing its my RAM doing the bottlenecking.
I have 7 GB and Im more or less ok. 8 is optimal, more is better. But there is still page file anyway, but I have no idea what limitation and speed is with that later on.

In the editor i could manage to get about 3 in them, loading them in a game however took a fat 10-15 minutes.
Have they done something to the planet editor? I can't seem to get planets to orbit each other as moons
I'LL GET HIM EVENTUALLY. FLY MY PRETTIES (this continues until I had amassed +1k of them and the entire server crashed)
