Well, I "finished" this game, I have no idea what to do now, I want to play more of this but besides trying to collect skills there's not much else to do, not that the parallel quests are a bad thing, but I want more story. I might have to collect a bunch of awesome skills and then replay story mode being overpowered and devastating as hell.
Anyone know if when they'll release the DLC they'll add more story stuff?
First DLC pack has 3 new characters, the power poll for your CAC (and a fighting style based around it) and a few new story missions and PQ's.

All my love.
just sandwiched freeza in between mine and ssj goku's kamehamehas and finished him off from half-ish health.
dbz game of the century
wish i had shadowplay turned on
I was reading some Steam reviews and they talk about server issues (to be expected near launch), but one sounded like you HAD to be connected to play the game.
There isn't any always-online BS is there? I can play totally singleplayer right?
Yes. You obviously don't get to interact with them, but real players p much become NPCs.

I don't have the game myself, but on a stream I saw someone fail to connect to the server, and it just said the multiplayer features would be disabled. So probably no worries.
Woah I didn't expect my computer to run the game.
Does the Steam version have local multiplayer?
So I was doing well on the [sp]8 Buu Versus[/sp] mission, and it crashed on me.
:suicide:
So how do you play online, does it get unlocked at a certain part of the game? Everytime I try to do some online thing, it just tells me to wait for it to become available. I'm assuming the online servers aren't up yet?
How worth it is this game? My cheap side can't justify spending $60 on a video game. But DBZ is my childhood, and to relive that sounds amazing.
Dang. I wish I had this game. It's fuckin awesome.

The online servers are up, but there seems to be a lot of issues with them. It sounds like you're playing in offline mode.

You get online after you finish the Saiyan Saga
Man why do I gotta beat the WHOLE game before I unlock the extra character creation slots.
I just want to make funny characters.

You don't have to be. You can disconnect your internet connection/block it with firewall and you won't get disconnected from single lobby randomly.

If you're looking for a super deep DBZ fighter, this isn't your game.
If you want fast battles, decent character customization, an astonishing number of moves, and a brutally hard story, then buy it.
I've already gotten my moneys worth after just 2 days.
Also, I just learned there's a move you can buy for 45k where you dance, and enemies get drawn in and have to dance too.
Seems like the server shit itself.
Should I try this out if I never saw Dragon Ball?
Is it cheap if I do every PQ with 2 SSJ4 Vegeta's as my backup? :v:
you can do all 3
Do you get the same amount of XP if you don't use your own character?
Loving this game so far but I've got a few pet peeves. There doesn't seem to be any power struggles which is a real bummer and is it me or did the destruction get nerfed? I remember playing Budokai Tenkaichi back on my Wii and I remember just getting thrown or throwing enemies around and breaking buildings and stuff. In this game, unless I specifically aim for a small building like houses, theres not much that happens. If I get thrown, all that happens is I get thrown far away and then that's just it, I recover no problem.
I want to get fucked so hard that I explode through a building and then make a crater (Even if a temporary one) on the ground. Now all I get is I get thrown in a building and I just kind of float around it as if there was some sort of forcefield.
The worst part is that all the destruction is usually temporary. Like if you get thrown to the ground and make a crater, the crater literally repairs itself on top of you and then you just phase through.
YO, Cell is destroying me. Feels like none of my attacks do any damage to him, also Gohan's sidequest to fight Frieza 100% is even harder. I was fine before this, it feels like a really huge difficulty spike. I guess the game expects you to grind with parallel quests? Usually I'd have no problem with that but I keep getting disconnected from the servers after every quest. I might just wait for the servers to get their shit together

I got 20x Kaioken by farming PQ9 with 3 SSJ4 Vegetas :D

i've thrown people through rock spires and such (and even surprise galic gun through them heh). impacts from people don't leave craters though which is a bummer yeah
tenkaichi 3 on the wii is the shit though

What level are you. I beat him at level 26
ALSO. HUGE PET PEEVE. THE GAME DOESNT LET YOU PREVIEW CLOTHING OR SUPERS. FUCK THAT.
I don't mind the destruction being temporary, I just wish it happened more. Maybe my memories are failing me but I just remember the older games like Budokai Tenkaichi having lots of destruction with people getting thrown and smashing into buildings all the time while in this game I seem to just harmlessly float around when I get thrown.

Level 19 I think.
Yeah, I guess I have some grinding to do.

Cell is level 30, just a heads up.
