That said, in their defense it was nice having a story that backdropped with huge battles that felt like you were actually apart of and had a side on.[/QUOTE] From what I hear, the campaign plays fine for the most part, besides maybe the endgame [sp]triple Warden fight[/sp], but it's the unremarkable and downright poorly written plot that most are complaining about. Or the fact that the four-player co-op is pretty much a pointless advertisement since you can only play online with friends, yet your offline AI buddies are basically braindead meatshields.

The Ai might be total Dumbasses, but they come in really useful when you need to take down a real bullet spunge. Tell em to target it and they'll light it up with everything.

to clarify what i said earlier, i think the campaign has great level design and its really fun, especially the blue team missions, but the overarching story is incredibly bland and downright stupid comic book writers are some of the worst in the business when it comes to writing intriguing stories and/or good villains

So far i am liking Warzone and Arena Slayer.
Fuck the gunplay just feel so damn good in Halo 5 Really hoping the BTB maps have some good variety and life to them. Arena maps we have now are fine for quick 4v4 scraps but they are small and don't have quite the same "inspiration" a lot of the bigger classic halo maps had

How does anyone think its a good idea to model a pistol as a brick and use a normal for details you can model. Normal maps are for small details and optimization not for "classic feel". This is such a failure of a remake imo.

The Campaign plot was fanfic tier writing. Gameplay however was actually pretty fun. The AI was often hilariously bad, but made boss fights easier (sometimes) On co-op the game is freaking cheese
Moving onto mission nine now, I'm actually liking the story so far. Spoilering for good measure; [sp]I love that the Sangheili have Grunts on their side as well, I missed having Grunt allies, also, Arbiter does seem to sound a bit more like he did in the older games with whatever they did to Keith David's voice, unless I'm just in that big of denial.[/sp]

This is such a failure of a remake imo.[/QUOTE] The idea was to make it exactly the same as it was back in halo 1, albeit with normals since cubemaps aren't the only source of lighting anymore. I think they accomplished that quite well.
I'm actually ok with the major plot points beside the [sp]Chief's fake terrorist attack charges just disappearing [/sp] but it's just paced and told soooo fucking badly This game is lucky it's good.
