After a brief period of no updates, ElDewrito 0.5.1 has been released. This is [B]NOT[/B] the big one - that is 0.6.
However, this update brings along a whole host of new, useful features and fixes that help polish the ElDewrito experience, that is why it is a 0.5.x release and not a 0.5.0.x. It also brings ED closer to feature parity with your average PC release with the Aspect Ratio fixes.

- Fixed a bug where the launcher would occasionally reset your armor settings. If you set dewrito_prefs.cfg to read-only, please unset it before applying this update.
- Fixed a bug where player/team colors did not show in the lobby roster.
- Added a Server.AssassinationEnabled setting that allows server hosts to forcibly disable assassination animations.
- Fixed a bug that caused The Pit to randomly crash server hosts.
- Added a spam filter to in-game chat which automatically mutes annoying players. Server hosts can disable this by setting Server.FloodFilterEnabled to 0.
- Added a log file for in-game chat when hosting a server. Chat will be logged to chat.log by default. Use Server.ChatLogEnabled and Server.ChatLogFile to configure this.
- Added a Player.RenderWeapon setting that controls the weapon that your Spartan holds on the main menu. This is cosmetic only and does not show to other players.
- Fixed a bug where the DMR would not load on Forge maps.
- Fixed a bug where the Server.MaxPlayers setting was ignored when creating a lobby.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to randomly crash on startup.
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to change their name while connected to a server.

Now, you can use all your weird aspect ratios and resolutions and the HUD will scale properly to them all, as opposed to the whole game being locked to 16:9. The Scaleform menu (non Halo 3 menu and non ingame HUD) is still 16:9, so you'll have to excuse that as there is no real way to fix it, but the Halo 3 menu and the ingame HUD will scale perfectly.

Ignore the Scaleform chat at the bottom. That is a useless relic, and will be removed in 0.6.
Just run the updater and enjoy! You do NOT need to download the game again from Mega.
This is easily gonna be the best update yet. And finally some skins actually worth using.
i vote that that other weapon is a brute shot. also, that those new loadout weapons are the hannibal projectile variants

Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, but I'm still disappointed that they didn't make an original model. Especially with how the new Covenant weapon designs look.
Well the one they're using is the Halo 2 Anniversary re-texture of the model I think, but yeah.

Just had an absurdly fast Warzone match, apparently blue team was sitting on their thumbs the whole time because we managed to capture all three bases and destroy their core in just over 5 minutes
People want EOD armor? It always looked pretty hideous to me, but each to their own I suppose.
I thought it was ugly in Halo 3, but in Reach it looked pretty dope. Especially the variant with the mouth pieces removed.
EOD has been my favourite armor since Halo 3.
I really didn't like the Halo 4 version of the EOD set. The reach one was the best.
Oh, I have no idea what it looks like post-Reach. Probably should have specified that.
I also liked it even when it was ugly in Halo 3. It was rather stormtrooper-y.

Yeah EOD was definitely one of my favorites in Halo 3 but the Reach version was also pretty decent.

Well, I guess the helmet didn't change too much, and that's the important bit... not really a fan of the color scheme though, or the paint job, or the armor design in general...
I decided to go back to Halo Custom Edition and I gave the marines' armor RGB support! If anybody's interested I can upload the tags for them
