Most people hate Halo 5's Arena and went back to MCC?
I wish the MCC was more populated. I also wish I could customize my spartans for all the games
I wish the MCC was more populated. I also wish I could customize my spartans for all the games
Same, I'd love to be able to jump in between all Halos online, without having to organize a team just to play MCC.
Having a low FOV is alright for consoles since you're not as close to the screen as you are for computers
Shit, even in eldewrito with the fov set at 90° feels a bit off for me. A 90° FOV is an absolute must for me in other games including the first two halo games on PC.
Uhhhhh, Bungie help him alive...... He didnt die in Halo 3.
No shit Sherlock, you're a little late to that party. Everyone else's already explained this in a much less condescending way, congrats.
"I have valid no points, just ignorance. Ill resort to cash grab argument... Because money is never a factor."
I don't even actually understand what you're doing here. I'm literally going "I think it's dumb but hey at least Bungie made him living canon in one way or another and it's not 343 going "hurr guess what he's actually alive"" and you're just doing that thing that belittles everything I say because ??? I mean I'm sorry I'm not knowledgeable about this game I've only played once and I don't think Bungie is an absolutely perfect example of game design, don't know what else to tell you. I'll do better next time and just read the wiki instead of trying to have a civil discussion I guess because apparently not agreeing with the hivemind makes me an ignorant idiot.
halo 2 anniversary multiplayer is fucking gorgeous, oh my god
Lets be honest though. The reason for it is Bungie never planned for another game with Chief. The planet was just supposed to be a hint to Destiny and 343 decided to use it as the plot point for the next game.
I remember someone (Joe Staten?) saying that they wanted to do a one-off game with the Chief, but there was too much to deal with, so Reach started halfway through ODST development

Calm down dude, I don't think you're an ignorant idiot, nobody here said that. Oh no you replied hours late! Here's pointless sarcasm! Wow man, why are you so defense over this? I'm doing a thing that belittles everything you say? You complained about how 343 brought chief back to life, when he never died. Then you complained that 30 FPS isn't optimal for shooters on the consoles, when it was infact standard for a console game of that era, and that legendary is unplayable in 30 FPS, yet countless thousands of people disagree. The Xbox 360 is only so powerful technical limitations are thing, FOV's are smaller on consoles, as you're intended to be father away from the screen, and it directly affects frame rate. Higher FOV = FPS drop. If you're wrong, people are going to correct you. I did misunderstand when you said At least it's not 343 pulling something out of their ass to make that cash. But now that I do understand you were referring to Halo's legendary endings, I'm even more baffled at the fact you're going to complain about legendary endings.... You're allowed to think bunge isn't a perfect example of game design, nobody think's that. But half the crap you're complaining about is pointless, or technical limitations of the hardware. Like even on console I felt the FoV in Halo was really low, but that's just my personal preference. I realise that its the standard for consoles and I dont hold it against the game.
Playing Destiny made me realize I'm fine with Halo's FOV because of the motion tracker, if you're in a point blank tussle in Destiny (just about the only time it hits me how low the FOV is) you have no way of pinpointing where they are because the tracker is so vague
My only problem with Halo on consoles was their penchant for the lowered crosshair as the series went on, which always made me feel like I was awkwardly aiming too high compared to pretty much every other shooter out there.
My only problem with Halo on consoles was their penchant for the lowered crosshair as the series went on, which always made me feel like I was awkwardly aiming too high compared to pretty much every other shooter out there.
Maybe it's just from my experience, but I feel like that was mainly started by Halo 2 PC since that was the first title in the Halo series to have that issue. From what I can remember of Halo 2 on the original XBox, the crosshairs were always centered, whereas Halo 2 on PC seemed to have it be shoved down slightly from where it was when compared to the XBox version. Halo 3 didn't come out that long after Halo 2 PC, but it also seemed to carry on that same aspect for the crosshairs.
I like the lower crosshair

EDIT fuck, nevermind. It's been ages since I've played the original game. I wonder why they chose to lower it for PC.

If memory serves me right, the PC version of Halo 2 was barely changed at all when compared to the original game; the only key [del]complaints[/del] differences I've seen and experienced with Halo 2 PC was the crosshair not being centered, the driving controls being stiffer than fossilized shit (seriously, the driving and/or flying segments of the game were abysmal if you weren't in a tank when compared to the original XBox release), a multiplayer service that (initially) had required a subscription-based fee for G4WL to play online with others (this actually caused a big enough uproar for Microsoft that they changed G4WL to being a free service for multiplayer access), and the graphics looking extremely muddy when compared to the console version. It also had support for custom maps (and to a much, MUCH lesser extent, custom weapons and vehicles for custom maps), but the toolset they created was rather poorly made and tended to bug out more often than it should have (which would probably explain why there were so few custom maps for Halo 2 PC, even just prior to G4WL's shutdown).

Some things carried over from CE but not all. Shit, even Gearbox guided you on every step with pictures when creating the tutorial level for custom edition. Even providing you with the finished max file. That engine could of been amazing with the amount of freedom CE has.
halo 2 on xbox im 99% had a lowered crosshair halo 5 or halo 1 doesn't tho
Looks lowered to me
I noticed it was lowered on Halo 2 Vista and holy god was it fucking with my eyes
IIRC the documentation on the Halo 2 mod tools actually pointed to tools and modules that weren't even in the program.

The viewmodel for the 4-5 shotgun looks more like a dented and bent metal pole than a shotgun. Glad to see El Dewrito is putting in the old models.
The thing that bothers me the most about the 4-5 sniper rifle is the charging handle. Like its so long and thin and sticks out so much. It would get caught on everything.
