As I said earlier, the ideas are interesting enough, but the fucking pacing and execution is awful.

campaign in this game is unarguably complete shit, I have accepted this
however, the multiplayer is goddamn fucking incredible, each time I get on I play for like 4 hours
I already have double the games in H5 than I got in MCC

I fucking suck and it took me two days to win a single match and I still fucking love it.
Breakout is [I]amazing[/I] when you play with a fireteam. It's like Destiny's Trials of Osiris gamemode but I might actually enjoy this more.
This game doesn't feel like old halo, it feels like new halo. And I fuckin love it.

I spent real dollars ($6) on REQ packs and all I got was a shit load of Ghosts, Needlers, and armor that makes me look like Palmer.

Man, it's a shame that the people who only loved Halo for the story and mythos have really no second trilogy to enjoy.
It's like the Star Wars prequels.
Though, if I had an XBone I'd probably still buy MCC and Halo 5 for the gameplay.

Might be late, but I found the campaign to be fun to play, but pretty underwhelming.
That doesn't mean it's bad per-se, but it's clear that 343 had a lot of ideas for the story and not enough time to execute them, and it suffers from being a bridge story for sure (just like Halo 2).

I enjoy halo mostly for story and I liked the campaign a lot. I understand what people mean by calling it a bridge story but I still liked it.

It's a "bridge" between the 4th and 6th story.
The campaign spends most of it's time setting up plot points and other thematic elements for the next in the series instead of being more complete story itself.

4 and 5 are definitely enjoyable in their own right, but 5 has definitely made me a little more skeptical about the next installment.
I still really like 4 and replay it fairly often, but I don't see coming back to 5 as much that's for sure.

Why would you replay Halo 4
It's terrible
I miss Big Team Battle.
Warzone doesn't really scratch that itch since the vehicles come out of my REQs. Makes me scared to spawn one only for it to be instantly stolen or destroyed.
But goddamn did it feel [I]good[/I] wrecking with a Wraith.
Hey my download ended up sooner than expected.. the campaign is a bit meh but holy shit warzone is awesome!, it got me hooked

It's fun for what it is, and enjoyable to play.
Sure it's not masterclass in storytelling, but were any of the Halos for that matter? It took the series in a different direction, and I think that's what people were most upset about, but I had a blast.
