Assembly, and H2V. Experimenting and using many different modding tutorials (halo 3/reach/2) littered over the web to learn what some tags do if they confuse me (they all mostly carry over from game to game) I tried halo online with assembly but a. It won't be as fun without ai, and b. It seems a lot more crash prone than H2V

Also, I would venture to say it's more prone to crashing because the engine Halo Online uses is only a pre-alpha - ms30, the last build, was a beta, but ElDewrito currently doesn't run on it (that's Anvil.) If you want to look at more serious stuff in Halo Online, look at Halo Online Tag Tool, or HOTT. It's lower level compared to Assembly but it's more powerful. Plus, thanks to some magic done by better modders than me, you can give directions that will change values seen in assembly. That's how I plan on getting the skybox as close as possible to the original one, since the original shaders can't be ported.

If you're interested on modding ms30, and you get some progress, perhaps you'd like to join the small dev team working on Anvil currently (which will become the full complement of devs once 0.6 is completed)? I hear they are having some trouble integrating some features into Anvil that are in ms23 (the current build).

I knew they ruined the "Hunt the Truth" story, due it having nothing to do with the events of Halo 5 with locke and the chief. Shame that the Didact won't be the main antagonist as Frankie said before halo 4.

Reading that blog... was Halo 5's campaign outsourced or something really late in development? Hunt for the Truth was obviously bullshit and didn't reflect the game, but [B]all of the interviews[/B] were flat out lies and didn't remotely resemble the final product. Like, as in, they were making stuff up because they didn't actually play their own game.

Tbh I think that it was a huge case of creative differences that caused Halo 5's plot to be the way it was. Someone came up with a Cortana resurrection plot as a rough draft, management decided it would be the best way forward and put pressure on the writing department, the writers who didn't like the change either left or shut up, Brian Reed became lead and the marketing department did what marketing departments do. I don't think Halo 5's story would have been well-received even if the original plan, whatever it was, had been kept. Halo 4's plot had a rather lukewarm reception by anyone who wasn't a lore fan, and lost the tone and atmosphere of previous Halo games. Halo 5 definitely tried and, in some ways succeeded, at getting the tone back, Grunts are funny again and the music has definitely feels more (but not enough) like Bungie's Halo. But overall, the same mistakes that Halo 4 made, such as introducing entirely new concepts into the main series without actually introducing them, are still present, and this time even the lore fans were left completely in the dark. There are fragments of a better plot, but it's hard to tell if these were intentional details that weren't made clear and/or byproducts of lazy writing. Cortana's quotes from the Didact could very easily be a sign that the Domain has corrupted her in some way, yet it could also be that the Didact was the original villain and the writers just though "Meh, it fits, keep it anyway". Going by the "Bastion" Intel, Warden Eternal was very much [I]not[/I] a part of the Forerunner's plan for humanity and could be using Cortana for his own ends, but he acts inconsistently with this in the plot. Sometimes it seems like they've dropped every previous story thread and at others it seems like they're still intact just needing to be reconnected. In the end, all of this is salvageable but 343 definitely needs to focus on the story like they have on the multiplayer. I've seen some speculation that Tales from the Slip and Fractures are tests to pick the new lead writer, and I can't say I'd be surprised if it were true after this.
For E3 today, don't expect a new FPS. Just Wars 2 and something for Win10 perhaps.

I would be really surprised if Microsoft end up announcing that Halo 6 or Halo 3 Anniversary will be coming to windows 10.

So the game isn't broken when it comes out. The betas that Bungie ran, proved that the the community will always find things developers won't. Lets remember the god awful release of Halo 4's multiplayer in terms of their private beta they ran. How op was the Boltshot before they nerfed it? Also do we know if the Halo Wars beta is on pc as well? If it isn't, then Microsoft sure does care about pc gaming.
