the prometheans you shoot them and they give no feedback of any damage being inflicted
that's why i fuckin hate them. ontop of that, soldiers teleport way too much, at least let me hit them while teleporting
Had some fun with pubs on Warzone Firefight. This is probably the fastest my team has ever killed Mythic Warden on FF. I had to make a quick video.

Funny thing is that not a single person was using a mic. Coordination just came naturally, wish I had games like this more often.

But yet their armor falls apart and breaks as you shoot them.

i never see that ever. not for soldiers anyway, you just shoot them enough til they explode and their head is unencased then you pop them in the heads
A lot of the hate comes from the promo material being so different from what we actually got. TV ads made it seem like[sp]Master Chief was a fugitive and the game would be about Locke following a candy trail and uncovering some "truth" along the way. #HuntTheTruth [/sp]but what we actually got was: (Major plot spoilers)[sp]Locke pointing a gun at Chief, getting into a fight, Chief getting captured some bad guys, then Locke working with Chief to beat up said bad guys[/sp]
Even if you take away the outright lie that was the marketing campaign, the story is still garbage on its own.

Fight them in WZFF and you'll notice it. They lose armor and their orange glowy bits become more exposed. It's a lot more noticable on their back.
Question is, Why did 343 say that, they should know.
You should know by now how disorganized and disjointed this shit is
for every company
Flood WFZZ when?
So, I'm going to be picking up the xbox one bundle with halo 5 in a few hours.
If anyone wants to play some later today or tomorrow or something, that'd be fantastic. Though a fair warning, I'm probably going to play really poorly.

It would be an honor to get the halo band back together. Campaign Arena or Warzone Firefight?
Campaign first, preferably. After that, I'm down for whatever
I still have not beaten Campaign hah
i still have not passed Blue Team, and I always complete the campaign (on legendary too). idk why, guess i don't care anymore
I beat it and I don't even own it or an xbone.
I dunno know why I even did it tho, I didn't like it. I hated the down system.
meanwhile I'm over here with a 360 and a PC :(
i don't like fighting prometheans
also one of the biggest issues i have with warzone firefight how often things get repeated
i was just in a match where literally all the objectives were to take down bosses and there were no defenses or eliminate a certain type of enemy
So I just finished Halo 2, and apart from 'The Great Journey' I feel that the campaign was a lot more enjoyable and had less 'I want to die' moments than the Halo 1 campaign.
Plus, I feel that the campaign had a lot more vehicle missions, especially considered how many vehicles you get to use in Halo 3's campaign, which I will be moving onto next.
Beat the campaign a day ago and I have to say, for not seeing any of the trailers for the game, it ended up being enjoyable for what it was. I'm honestly fairly interested in seeing where this whole [sp]Cortana motivating other AIs to turn on/ reject humanity thing will go[/sp]. That being said though, I have a few gripes with the campaign.
- I wish blue team had more missions, the stuff with Locke was alright but mostly because I like Buck as a character.
- I really wish they would have focused on the [sp]Argent Moon stuff a bit more. ONI is way more interesting to me personally, especially since they tried developing some bio weapon and it backfired[/sp]
- Not enough use of vehicles/ huge vehicle battles. Vehicles are one of the strongest parts of Halo and in 5, the missions with them felt kind of lackluster.
Some other minor gripes about customization
- Majority of armour is still way too over complicated. It was a sigh of relief when I pulled the noble chest piece from my 7th gold pack because it looks smooth and less cluttered.
- Speaking of chest pieces, I find it dumb that you can only select helmet and then everything else together. What happened to choosing your own helmet, shoulders, chest, legs?
Other than that stuff though, It's been really enjoyable. Especially firefight, I thought it would be lame but it's surprisingly really, really good.

When you getting on?
In a bit but I think I'm going to continue messing around with a map in forge for a while
Mister Chief comes out if you do LASO now:

i don't understand how people can deal with prometheans so well
i can't kill any of them by myself
i prefer the covenant enemies because it's very easy to tell when they're taking damage as well as the fact that pretty much everyone who's played the halo games knows how to deal with them
like you can just melee a conventional grunt or jackal and they'll die
but with prometheans it's hard to figure out the right way to deal with them, especially the soldier and knights. soldiers are particularly annoying whenever they just teleport outta nowhere, and they're even more annoying in packs
There's Something I've been pondering on the past few days.. Figured I'd share and ask for opinions. And maybe spoilers ahead to any new comers.
Where would Halo be if the Chief and Arbiter killed Truth in the last level of Halo 2 like bungie originally wanted? (Marty did confirm that the cut last level of Halo 2 did do this. However there wasn't enough time to get one last final mission in the game, thus a cliffhanger.)
We'd be left where? With the flood spreading all over the place, likely taking the roll of the majority of Halo 3, rather than it tieing up Halo 2's loose ends.
It's interesting to think about. Halo 2 was going to (seemingly) end the covenant and truth in one mission. While Halo 3 has more then half the game devoted to this task.
What kind of Halo 3 do you think we would have gotten if Halo 2 killed off truth?

If they could've made Halo 2 how they originally intended, Halo 3 would be named Halo 2.

I cant kill them with their own guns. All of them feel like weird peashooters.
Happy Bungie Day! Get your Seasonal MCC achievements if you dont have them.

That's pretty much what I said.. However the original story in Halo 2 never tied things up with the flood, so we definitely would have still gotten a Halo 3.

Well Halo 3 in its entirely was suppose to be part of Halo 2. My speculation is Halo 2 would have ended with same exact way with Chief floating towards mysterious forerunner planet. And Halo 3 would consist of Cortana waking up chief before colliding with the planet and events very similar (but executed differently story and art direction wise) to what happen in Halo 4 happen.
Actually, just out of curiosity, does anyone know what ever happened to Lord Hood? Did he just die, or is he still on Earth or something?
