It's useful. There was one firefight match where I was distracting a Mythic Warden in my Temple Ghost by having him focus on me instead of my teammates. Basically with Wheelman, I was just taking hits non-stop from Warden's emp/laser blast. I probably took at least 15-16 hits before he managed to die.
How active is the MCC multiplayer these days?
Everything but Team Slayer seem to be mostly dead.
Well you missed out on a ton of back story then
What you mean the Freelancer stuff? Yeah did not honestly care about that at all and the whole fake people in the Gulch or whatever was just dull.
Red vs Blue was at it's best when it was just 2 teams doing nothing in Blood Gulch and if you honestly care about the whole freelancer project backstory beyond just cool fight scenes then I think you're watching the wrong show.

Or people have different likes/opinion then you.
The newer seasons have been mostly just the two teams.

"I stopped watching years ago, and making assumptions about currently quality of show."
No argument when you say "Red vs Blue was at it's best when it was just 2 teams doing nothing in Blood Gulch" But saying "and if you honestly care about the whole freelancer project backstory beyond just cool fight scenes then I think you're watching the wrong show." That's fucking stupid, it wasn't at it's best, but it was still very entertaining. And the show has been "Just the 2 teams" again for atleast a couple seasons. We're watching the wrong show because YOU didn't like? You're not a consensus. One of the things I find most enjoyable about RvB is the side stories they fill the universe with, and the freelancer story line was simply fun, and tied in soooo much to the main cast, not their fault you gave up on it.

Then you literally missed out on a literal core part of the series including Church's origins
Sweet! Got Wheelman from the daily login pack.
I still need to get lucky enough to pull one. It's almost sad how fragile vehicles are without it :suicide:

What the whole AI thing? Yeah I watched up onto that point. Then when they had a season of it just being in Church's mind with the flashbacks to Freelancer stuff I could not care less and stopped watching which was season 9.
It's good to hear it's just the two teams again but then I have to watch all of season 9 so I'm good. Where I left off it doesn't seem to make much sense on why they'd be back on teams vs team thing again
The current season has some guest writers that were pretty good, the Lego episode was funny. The current arc has nothing to do with Red or Blue but follows the two bounty hunters from 12-13. It's got action but it isn't Monty Oum-tier. Overall I think it's OK.
Monty Oum wasn't that good of an animator though. I think he was a cool guy but he only excelled at flashy-ness.
You guys disagreeing with me have obviously never watched Ruby.

It is really annoying how mandatory it is if you want to touch any sort of vehicle.
I didnt care tooooo much about RvB until the Freelancer seasons started making the show serious. I enjoyed the comedy, but the concept of a comedy show with no basis in reality suddenly becoming serious and based in some sort of reality is really cool to me.

Really? Because that usually what kills comedy for me.

Key words
Really? Because that usually what kills comedy for me.
Call me crazy but I like RvB more for the drama and story than the comedy, even though I love the comedy. Im weird, ok?

Very weird since it lost a lot of the viewer base because of season 9 and they apologized for it

I think Burns mentioned he totally understands if you stopped watching at season 9 in one of the podcasts. Which ones? Hell if I know my friend told me.

This is why we have a hard time believing you.

That never happened. This is why shouldn't post unless you have atleast half a clue to what you're talking about.....
Season 9 wasn't RvB at it's best, but it wasn't bad.... Your opinion is not fact, neither is your imaginary friend's opinion.
Hey what can I say I trust my friends.
I listen to the RT podcast through on a regular basis on honestly the only thing I remember them saying about season 9 that would be like that is how people don't like "it's all a dream" but that it all meant something so people shouldn't worry. Honestly they talk more about how Reconstruction got more negative feedback for being "serious" than anything else.
The shows been going on for 13 years now, it has to change and adapt to stay interesting and I think they do a fairly good job of that, even if the actiony stuff isn't exactly my cup of tea. I usually binge watch all of rvb when I do watch it, so I'll probably catch up one of these days
Jesus christ playing Warzone Firefight against prometheans is probably the most unfun thing in existence
What's even better is the fact that soldiers can hijack your vehicles and you can't hijack them back what the everlasting fuck

You can jack your vehicles back though. It's just the ones they spawn with you can't jack.

Really? I've never had the prompt pop up for me.

Idk should be popping up unless the patched it out in the hotfix
I have a feeling the Prometheans are such a pain to deal with because they're 343s child. 343 created them so obviously they have to be tougher than the old Bungie Covenant. But maybe I'm just talking out my ass. Who knows

I liked them in Halo 4.
The IDEA of them in Halo 5 is pretty great, imo. I love that Knights have a certain mechanic to be defeated like Hunters do, and the fact that Soldiers can jump around. But the worst thing about them is that they're just so bullet-spongey. That's not difficulty or fun. The fact that around 50 of these Prometheans can randomly appear and kill you in several hits when it takes half an AR ammo reserve to kill a single soldier just feels contradictory to their mechanics.
Halo 6 should become an open world FPS, that would be sick. Imagine being Master Chief kicking spartan ass in suburban areas and literally in the halo ring. With a total of 50 in-game hours of story content and massive online co-op and competetive. It would kick ass. Please dont rate dumb or disagree, I'm hoping for it to happen as it could revive this series which is biting the dust at the moment ever since Halo 4: Turds.
