The Halo Thread V12: The Last Thread Turned Into A Bridge - Games

Just finished the campaign for Halo 5. Actually really like the halo 4 and 5 stories they are pretty cool.

For anyone having the issue of the Halo app launching and crashing whenever you try to launch Halo 5 Forge, just uninstall the Halo app through Windows. (NOT HALO 5 FORGE - THE HALO APP!)

Well, it's downloading, but at 35 GB I won't be able to play until probably Sunday - and that's very much a 'hope to god' sort of thing. Hope ya'll have fun!

A very GREAT experience. Would recommend people try it out if their machines are capable.

So the windows store thinks my gpu doesnt dupport directx 11 or 12 despite supporting both. PLEASE HELP I NEED MY HALO

I actually was able to access and claim 3 freebie packs that way, and got some neat weapons through it... though I'm unable to use the 7700 REQ points my account came with on the packs in the web store, I wonder why?

I still cannot install Forge in any way. Can't find it any trace of it when searching the store app, the website link for the bundle just takes me to a "The thing you're looking for isn't here" page while the link for Forge itself takes me to the store page on the app but it just says it's not available and neither is the Halo app.

Could always try installing that and restarting

I've got the same issue, Windows is fully up to date for me.

I have downloaded it but I cannot launch it, i get a halo splash screen and its gone....... faaaaaaak

My GTX460 says DDI 11.3 and Features Level of 11_0. In other words, I suspect your graphics card is not actually on DX12. Simply your Windows OS is on DX12.

Keep in mind that sooner rather than later, DX12 is going to replace DX11. You're going to [B]have[/B] to upgrade and honestly if it was me? I'd just grab a 1000 series card. GTX900 and 1000 support DX12 fully. I can't speak for 600 and 700.

Ok so Forge: how do I go into Spartan mode the ~ key isn't a thing here and I can't seem to rebind Forge controls.

Not DirectX 11 with Feature Level 11. But, don't hold your breath but I'm going to see if I can get it working on my Fermi card and see what happens. [editline]8th September 2016[/editline] Also GrangeRover, have you tried the Halo bundle from the windows store? That let me download Halo 5 Forge.

So does nobody really know how to get into spartan mode with a non american keyboard?
