So does nobody really know how to get into spartan mode with a non american keyboard?
` the key to the left of 1
`
Doesn't work for me. I've held it, tapped it, shift tapped it, shift held it, everything. Never goes into Spartan mode. [editline]8th September 2016[/editline] I've just plugged my controller in, we'll see if I can use that as a dedicated Spartan mode startup device.
Doesn't work for me. I've held it, tapped it, shift tapped it, shift held it, everything. Never goes into Spartan mode.
worked for a friend of mine who is also from the UK.
worked for a friend of mine who is also from the UK.
Great. Doesn't work for me. Like thanks for helping, but it doesn't work.
Oh sweet I got 3 Wicked Grasps from the update REQ. edit: wait what how did I get 2 of Berserker's Claw in my REQ list?
Crashes on startup for me, my desktop hardware must be outdated. Oh well.
Crashes on startup for me, my desktop hardware must be outdated. Oh well.
Whats your hardware?
Whats your hardware?
My video card is a Radeon HD 5800 Series, and I would think that is severely outdated by now. I don't have the money for a good card right now, but if I were to upgrade, what would you suggest Facepunch?
Yeah that card definitely too old.
Yeah that card definitely too old.
Yeah, i'm not surprised it didn't launch, just wanted to give it a shot.
My video card is a Radeon HD 5800 Series, and I would think that is severely outdated by now.
Yeah, I'm sorry but that is the AMD equvilant to the Nvidia Fermi 400-500 series. To my knowledge it has 0 formal support for DX12. As I said before, DX12 will be the future, Vulkan possibly as well. Maybe I got unlucky with Vulkan but my GTX460 supports neither and I suspect no one else's does either. Bluntly put, we will be left behind. Time to upgrade, guys. AMD RX 480 and GTX1060 are what I'd purchase. Around the speed of a GTX980 for the fraction of the price.
how are u people downloading it mine still says currently not available wth
Mine said that until I upgraded to the Anniversary update of Windows 10. If you haven't done that yet you should.
how are u people downloading it mine still says currently not available wth
in the windows store, look up "Halo Bundle". That version downloaded for me. As said by others, make sure your Windows 10 is on Anniversary.

the early copy I downloaded a few days ago wouldn't work, I had to redownload it via windows store app
Slightly off-topic, but is there much reason to pick Nvidia or AMD over the other? Or is it down to choosing sides?
Its a case by case basis, on the Intel vs AMD front it is pretty much better to go with Intel. Until Zen rolls around AMD is just stuck with horribly slow CPUs. But of course we are talking about Nvidia vs AMD which as I said is case by case. Some cards are better, the rare good or bad deal comes around. But right now? I'd go with whatever one you prefer. I personally prefer the GTX1060 because its smaller and requires less power. I've had a great time with EVGA and never had issues with Nvidia's drivers. Its 50 dollars more but its something I don't mind for a card I won't be replacing for quite a few years. So its entirely up to you, I think you'd be happy with either card. The 1060 is an okay overclocker and some people say it almost goes toe to toe against the 980TI when OC'd. Do I believe it? Not exactly, but I don't know how well the AMD RX 480 overclocks. [editline]8th September 2016[/editline] Actually there is one concern and that is DX12 vs Vulkan. I heard some people say some cards are better on one vs the other. But honestly I think that is something we can only see in the future. DX12 and Vulkan are the future but its at least a year or two away from being the standard.
So are we having a Facepunch room or what?
So are we having a Facepunch room or what?
https://discord.gg/MMSFz This is a Discord people have been posting here, it's pretty populated so far.
Lmao shit tier Norton is blocking the game from accessing the internet whenever I try to start a game. Then when I attempt to add it to the exception list (like you would with any other game) it throws an error. gg. :suicide:
Fantastic, the game crashes at the sign in menu. Games for Windows Live resurrected!:goodjob: EDIT: If anyone is having this problem, just uninstall the Halo app, and play using the Halo 5 : Forge app instead.

I'm getting this, please tell me someone knows how to fix this:
Install Win10 Anniversary first. Also, Agoat944 on Live. Let's get some matches going.
Install Win10 Anniversary first. Also, Agoat944 on Live. Let's get some matches going.
I am as far as I know. Unless I have to do anything else special?
Anyone know were the in-progress download files are stored? I installed it on my main drive not realising there was only 10 GBs of space on it and now I can't find the files to delete.

I'd like to play this but I've got no one on my friends list. CherryCoke616 is my tag, feel free to add me.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/features
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UZZk83y.png[/t] Installed the update assistant but I got this as soon as I opened it. Guess I have the Anniversary Update installed? [editline]8th September 2016[/editline] BTW it gives me the same error message when I try to install any Windows Store app, not just Halo 5: Forge.
