I downloaded Forge on PC and am using my account from when I still had an Xbox 360 from 2010, whenever I try to get into a Forge match or anything else I'm met with the "A fireteam member's online safety settings do not allow them to view this content" and the only solution is to change settings on an Xbox 360 / One, but I don't have either. Anyone know what's up with this?

Anyway, Just make a new account if you can't disable the privacy settings (which you can actually do on the website btw).

psure there's 4 or 5 versions of the engine, halo 1, halo 2, halo 3/reach, halo 4 and maybe halo 5 idk if they're the same version or not im an idiot regarding those things but i know the first 3

i don't think so
So I've found a ton of the source of my performance woes was due to anisotropic filtering. Turned that shit down to 4x and my framerate skyrocketed.
I'm actually saddened by that.

As I understand it, blam!s versions are Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST/Online, Reach, 4 and 5.
Although to answer your above comment it's actually easy to crack UWP. Halo 5 was cracked in 4 hours.
if only they'd release it i wanna cheat engine tf out of this game like I did with HO

The majority of the Halo engines were built on top of each other. Bungie has claimed that reach was rebuilt from scratch but I believe the core coding from the trilogy is still there. Halo 4 was built directly ontop of the reach engine. I believe halo 5 is probably the game that honestly "feels" the most different from the others. The vehicles and players all feel a lot different, and the physics aren't as floaty as the prior games. Again, 343 claims to have rebuilt this engine from the ground up, but until I have a clear look at the source files, I really can't say.

Well I only had to make an entirely new microsoft account but I finally got the game dowloaded.

The evidence from guys like DEElekgolo and company seems to suggest otherwise - or at least, that the core structure of the game remains the same. I seriously doubt they would have gotten into it this fast if it was 100% rebuilt.
so it seems default FOV is 78, thanks cheat engine, time to bump it to 105

you know you could probably change some gametype values with cheat engine and save the gametype and have it work perfectly fine on both platforms honestly. in that case you can probably make gametypes that spawn you with the propipe?

probably because there's a few more updates you need from Windows update you haven't gotten yet
I'm hoping that 343 will listen to feedback and at-least implement FOV and ultra-wide so people don't have to hack for it, since it can kind of be seen as an unfair advantage. Maybe with the server browser?

p sure they've already comfirmed fov options coming somewhere down the line, no idea about ultra-wide though.
am I the only one who gets low frames on maps with a decent amount of forge props?
like when you're looking at that area specifically?
on a 1060, game runs smooth as butter otherwise
and they said they are already, i believe they confirmed FOV and ultrawide support is coming
