The next free update to Halo 5: Guardians arrives next week and with it comes Forge, new Arena and Warzone maps, Seasons and social playlists, brand new REQs, and more. Today, we’re excited to reveal each unlockable REQ. Included are weapons, armor, and emblems you might recognize from past Halo titles, as well as some new additions.
Cartographer’s Gift marks the return of the SPNKr Rocket Launcher - the dual-tubed tool of destruction that comes in 4 flavors. You’ll also notice the full set of Gold Standard weapon skins, which are rather fitting of their Legendary rarity. We hope you’re as excited as we are for Cartographer’s Gift and the wide array of new content it brings to Halo 5. Probably want to keep most of the loadout weapons looking similar, so it doesn't make some people more of a target.

So are we going to do that idea I had? If so I call Red team and I can start working on some forge prototypes next week. If not then Xenoblade Chronicles X until I'm dead.

I'd love to join in on this forge game idea but I'll be at home over Christmas and straight back into uni work in January so can't make a commitment :(

Rocket launchers a power weapon though. I'm talking weapons like the pistol or smg, stuff people can always spawn with once they unlock it. Anyways, feel free to put me on blue team. Gonna be a week or two before I have live again, but totally game when I do.

How does this sound:
We use Halo 3 in the MCC since Forge isn't out yet for Halo 5 we'll switch then.
Everyone that frequents this thread is put into two teams: Red and Blue
Each team gets a home base: let's say Red team gets High Ground and Blue team gets Avalanche (We can all vote on what each teams home base is but let's try to use asymmetric maps for them. I know Avalanche isn't asymmetric so come up with one)
Each team claims an equal number of maps as theirs except for one which will change every "round"
For the first "round" we'll start on Narrows (or whatever we decide) and whoever wins that match the next match will take place on the losing teams map. Say Red team lost and they claimed standoff as one of theirs so Blue team attacks it.
If say Blue team lost the match in Standoff then Red is allowed to push back into Narrows and try to claim it or attack one of Blue team's maps. it depends on the structure we go for.
The order of how the maps are played could be random except the home base or we could structure it like after Narrows for Red team is Snowbound or for Blue team Blackout.
Once one team has claimed enough of the other team's maps they can then assault the home base and if they capture it then the "round" is over.
Next "round" that team now has that Home base as theirs and the losing team get's to pick a new home base.
I was thinking of using standard maps but for the home base maps we use forge to personalize them.
How does this all sound? We can easily modify this however we please and we can easily modify it for use in halo 5. It also allows us to all play together.
What game type should we use for the Home base maps? I was thinking assault or territories. We could also just use territories or slayer for the normal maps[/QUOTE]

Nah go ahead dude I'm terrible at photoshop and this is suppose to be a community thing. I kind of want to keep it only to the thread for now until we actually play and see how it goes.

There are custom textures, just right now that this map isn't finished, its a testing map, hell, before it was public it, all there was was the flatgrass area
looks like an actual map editor now, and you're not all floaty when in construction mode. Are you even a monitor anymore?
