Some dude on reddit made a custom Assault Rifle nerf gun, with working counter (kind of, it counts by trigger pulls)

Sometimes on Warzone I get stuck on "Retrieving Data", so I can't use any REQs.
Is there any way to fix this while I'm still on the match?
-its good-
It kinda sucks that you only get to experience the impact force on ragdolls if you are server host. Half the fun of explosives and the grav hammer is lost without it
watching Halo 2 Anniversary videos just makes me wonder why it is so much better looking than halo 5
i honestly think they completely nailed the look of spartans in it, why do they look so overdesigned and low quality in h5
Artstyle plus texture quality?
Different teams, different styles.
It's a shame really. Halo 2 Anniversary proves that the real Halo art-style would look fucking incredible if it was actually used. They really should have tried to learn from it.
Edit:
And before anyone tries to start a pissing match, I simply stated an opinion. Don't make it an argument.

So it looks like dual wielding is most definitely becoming a thing in the next ElDorito update

At the rate Eldewrito is going, the only reason we'd ever need a Halo 3 PC port is for the campaign. Even despite the Forge level import trick being a bit of an unfortunate necessity, you're all knocking this clean outta the park.

We'll find a way to port the campaign. If there's a will there's a way.

It will be ODST first, as the halo online engine is very close to that of Halo 3 ODST. Having campaign maps from that game to forge on, would be great.

Over designed? Sure. Low quality? Eh, again, is this a technical quality we're talking about? If so, no. These models are pretty standard. In fact, they're objectively made to higher spec than the H2A models because the base MKVI there is a retexture of the last gen one in Halo 4.

I do love what Sabre did with the covenant stuff. There were a ton of blanks to fill in, and a lot of pressure, and I think they hit it out of the park. Same with the forerunner stuff, though I distinctly remember the usual group bashing it for resembling 343's forerunner architecture.
Anyone want to do Reach Co-Op?

I actually read that the firefight tags are in the game, they just don't have any info.

Firefight would work, because most of the execution code exists within the current build. I'm not sure of what, or how many, of the tags remain.

Boom. I missed this game
Honestly Reach had the best new overall experience with features, the engine, and campaign.
But Halo 2 (And 3) had my favorite campaign.
I really wish I'd been able to play Reach online for longer. It was a great game - everything looked great, felt great in terms of weapons and movement - and I want to bring that up whenever discussions of its quality come up but the thing people seem to dislike is (aside from lore fuckery) the actuality of the game's balance in multiplayer when it comes to things like weapon balance and Invasion and such.
Also Reach is the most recent Halo game I have for the 360 and I wish I could play it with someone.
People still play Reach.. There were about 15k people on last night
It doesn't surprise me. More people would rather play Halo 3 and Reach than Halo 4, although I have no idea how 5 or MCC (despite how broken it was and some say still is) stacks in comparison.
Plus if Halo 2 wasn't shut down you know that'd still have a lot of faithful players on 360.
I was playing MCC last night. Everyone votes for Halo 4 in the mixed playlists. The Halo 3 and 2 dedicated playlists are pretty much dead along with FFA and BTB.
Could only get consistent matches in Action Sack, H2A, Halo 4, and SWAT.

Do they play it on Xbone though, or 360? And is cross-platform play available?

Actually what am I thinking, it probably is; I had friends play Halo 2 with me from their 360s while I was still an original Xbox peasant.

Xbone just plays the 360 copy.

The more progress I see made on ElDorito, the more scared I feel that microsoft is just going to send a cease and desist because it's becoming too good.

As far as I can recall, Microsoft's stance on people making derivative works (fan art, games/game mods, videos, etc.) using their content is that they'll allow it so long as there's no profit being made from doing so (unless they say otherwise). I can't necessarily say that their stance would still apply to a technically non-released title being modified and then distributed around the net since some companies (Microsoft included) can get a bit riled up about situations like that, but the fact that they have yet to do so kind of seems like a good sign that they're probably not going to. That's still subject to change at any time of course, but it still seems a bit unlikely for the time being that they'll start throwing C&D's at the ElDorito/ElDewrito devs.
How long has SPV3 been in the works? They've never gotten a C&D, have they?
Yeah, but that's built on an officially and legally released Halo title. This is based on a leaked build of the game meant for closed testing.

SPV3 didn't use any official Halo assets apart from some leftover Halo 1 ones (that were made public in the Halo Editing Kit that came with the PC release/Custom Edition), while ElDewrito is using all this stuff that wasn't made publicly available with the sole purpose of modding.
