Holyshit, I was more expecting MS/343 to ignore any mods of a game.
Also, I like how Sins of the Prophets updates, and I get the news from an official halo source
Mad respect for someone ackowledging a mod in a good way for once.
kinda need to figure out some new stuff to finish up Haven so I decided to take a break and do what I could of good old Valhalla.
This is a first rough pass without proper water shaders and...wow, it is very different working with a fully outdoor map. Skies are rough.

Emile's armor could do with having his extra grenades. Apart from that and the color, looks great.

Most of them can't even stand up properly.
The Halo Reach Mark V figure I have is a piece of crap.
I actually just have them lying down now. If I so much as sneezed in the room they'd fall over. The elite's are the worst. Hoping to make a stand at some point.

I tried the figma stand that came with my LoZ SS Link figure with the Reach figure, it works pretty well.
I'm glad McFarlane isn't going to be making Halo figures any more, they were starting to get pretty crappy... But the Mattel figures aren't looking all that great either.

Mind you, it isn't suppose to be Emile, just his armour pieces, but they have to make them fit the existing Spartan IV skeleton/animation system.
Not very many good quality renders/screen of him standing up in Reach. His Kukri is also in the wrong place in H5.

It's a concept paintover, not a model :v: the concept artist most likely used images from a figurine and moved them around on the base undersuit, then did additional painting afterwards.

The Play Art figures go on sale a lot on Amazon. I got the Halo 2 Chief for about $24 a few months ago.
The Kotobukiya ones are crazy expensive though. I bought the Mark V & VI double pack for about $70 after a few discounts, but the Mark V was a bit crap so I bought a second (blue) set of Mark VI armor. They're releasing an Athlon figure with a BR pretty soon. Most of the current figures only come with a pistol and energy sword.

It's really good in Warzone Firefight.
I actually played 2 matches, given it was 5am so not the greatest idea but I really enjoyed it. I liked how the waves weren't exactly the same every round.
