I'm pondering over this: would the only way to get the *true* FNaF models (and animatrons) be to copy the sources Scott has on his computer(s)? It's very unlikely he'll just allow people to use those models for their own stuff out of claiming they made the models themselves.

Yes. there's no other way to get the real models.
...But then again, it is unlikely Scott lets basically anyone including his fans come inside his home.

I think the most we could hope for with models is asking Scott to post references of the models so we could make our own based off of those, though I'm sure some people would misconstrue it as being a dick move

You mean like asking for possible orthigraphical views, or concepts sketches?
Though I doubt Scott would just hand over resources like such, it would be nice to try and get 3D models to be as accurate as possible to the real deal, and maybe get his endorsement.

this may mean bad news for the fnaf community, as scott's internet could be down.
hopefully the storm didn't affect where he lives in the state.

Houston, Austin, Dallas, and sorrounding areas are getting hit
As a guy living in Dallas I can confirm that huge ass thunderstorms are fucking up Texas, we got news broadcasts each day since last week about flash floods too.
I got remnants of that storm in the valley in Texas. There was a lot of lightning.

Whatever part of Texas Scott may be I hope he and his family is safe, as well as for other people living there too. That might explain why his weekly teaser is late, I don't mind at all personally.

Anyone else become instantly pissed when someone makes a good set of models like this, then just goes, "lol sorry, looks like none 4 u."?
Something about it makes them seem insecure. When people are praising your work, you should at least try and deliver by putting the models up for download.
