Yooo.....
Well, guess I'm one of the many who are scared shitless of those robots
I like how the jumpscare sound is a mash-up of the other ones.
I expected a scare, I got a scare. Thanks scott.
this seriously looks to be the scariest fnaf game yet. the trailer brings me back to my childhood in which i'd see weird demons lurking at the end of hallways that would quickly disappear the moment i saw them. this game seems to be recreating that same fear i had as a little kid that one of the monsters at the end of the hallway would pop in my closet or "get" me when i wasn't paying attention.
looks alright so far but jesus that title screen looked like garbage
Was chica in the trailer at all?
wasnt scary
From what I see in the trailer, plush springtrap is most likely the "music box" in this game
I know other people have theorized it before but now that it seems like we'll be in a child's room I'm willing to wager this is going to be about the victim of the '87 bite. If it is I sincerely hope we'll figure out who was the culprit and everything that went down with that day.
From what I see in the trailer, plush springtrap is most likely the "music box" in this game
I really hope not. Or it's reworked to not be a complete chore. The music box partially ruined FNAF2.

Its purple for christs sake
Was chica in the trailer at all?
Yes
Was chica in the trailer at all?
-snip, GamerDude55 of course beat me to it by a few seconds :'D - She comes in right after the :35 mark in the trailer, very briefly before the door closes. I didn't see her the first time.
She's grinning too. That just makes it nerve wrecking
It looks more like plushtrap slowly crawls towards you but when you look at him he goes back to his seat. So what you need to do is keep checking on him rather than winding something up.
It looks more like plushtrap slowly crawls towards you but when you look at him he goes back to his seat. The back has the little fredlets, the front has the closet, and the left and right have the doors, so how are we seeing Plushtrap?
Trailer is here.
Didn't he say he was going to release the trailer next weekend? smh he can't even help releasing this early [editline]13th July 2015[/editline] Shitty jokes aside, this looks pretty great. Here's hoping it's a lot more like Freddy's 1 in terms of gameplay and mechanics.
i guess scott's release schedule mimic the animatronics you never know when they may spring up on you
it's nice that the animatronics are properly terrifying because they're juxtaposed against a soft, plush suburban house setting
honestly the jumpscare looks like somethhing out of a fangame everything else is cool tho
You guys are just over-reacting, this is clearly the sequel where Mike before the place shutted down took the mascots back home. Their just playing a normal game of hide and seek.
One YouTube comment on the video got me thinking. What if the game is taking place from the perspective of the bite of '87 victim? Phone guy said the child survived, so if they aren't a complete vegetable despite missing their frontal lobe, they could be living in the house and suffering from nightmares and PTSD centered around the animatronics after the event that disabled them permanently. And the "was it me?" teasers could all be a reference to the fact that, after all this time, we still don't know which animatronic bit the kid. Some people say it's Mangle, some people say it's Foxy, some people say it's Freddy, but there isn't a single instance in each game that tells us who did it.
stolen from /5N@FG/
The last three games, the player works as a security guard during a part-time night shift for a company. 12-6 AM makes sense for a night guard. If I remember right, several of us were talking in a previous thread (when the Plushtrap teaser came out) about how "12-6 AM would be bizarre if the game takes place in a house instead of a pizzeria". Now it makes quite a bit of sense if you're playing as a child having nightmares -- this would be right in the middle of the REM cycle. Of course, since a child isn't working a night shift, plus the fact that children tend to sleep longer than 6 hours a night... we could be in for longer nights.
Is it just me or is there finally free roam, a la Point and Click adventure style? Looks like it, tons of different rooms, not seeing any cameras.
So you play as a child having nightmares about the animatronics? What if it's not a nightmare? What if the child's parents are fans of the old franchise and bought the remains of the burned down scarehouse attraction. They look old and burned, to a child, their minds will warp that image into something much worse, much scarier. Maybe those little Freddy things are burned plush dolls.
I think I saw a Freddy plushtoy behind those Nightmare Mini Freddies when they were jumping off. I think the kid has a personal collection with the rest scattered around. If the Plushtrap is any indication, it might be the recent one collected and that's where shit hits the fan.

Thanks, didn't catch that.
"Hey, remember those restaurant pizzeria chains that got a lot of missing children? Let's buy some stuff from it for our kid! Especially that adorable plush toy on auction, just needs a bit of fixing up to clear out the rot."
I wonder who the "Phone Guy" will be for this game. I don't really know who or what could explain how to play the game. The only thing I can think of is the kid's father reassuring you through some portable tape, "There's no monsters... But if you think you see something do this" or something. Though that sounds somewhat ridiculous.
That springtrap plushie looks very non-fucked up unlike his life-sized counterpart in the 3rd game. He looks just as unsettling either way :x Another cool thing was that Scott modeled those 3 freddies with unique wear-n-tear, at least hes not rushing the game THAT much.
