The trailer kinda inspired me to mess around with SFM, don't know why.
[sp]This is one of my first actual tries with SFM. Plsnobully.[/sp]

Thanks! Planning on making more. Currently thinking of ideas for a scenebuild.
I feel bad for Scott, everyone was complaining that "It was the same game over and over again", yet when he makes a big change (in reference to FNaF 4 setting and gameplay mechanics), people start saying he's running out of ideas. You can never win on the internet, I suppose.
On a side note, I recently watched a video of Dawko's and he made a pretty good point: Just like with 2 and 3, we may get teasers of new "Nightmaronics" that didn't appear in the trailer, like the Puppet for 2 and Phantom BB, Chica, and Foxy for 3. (And the fact that some may not appear in any teaser at all :v: )

People hate anything with a fandom and will find anyways to hate it.
So what's the lore behind FNA4?

Boo! Haunted house.
Probably [sp]Parents of child buy charred bits and baubles from burned down Freddy's. Child is put off by them and starts having nightmares.[/sp]
Cue Foxy in the closet.

Sensing some AVGN Nightmare on elmstreet right there!
Plot Twist: FNAF4 is really an arcade rail shooter where you blast the faces off the animatronics with a shotgun and send them back to the grave.

There was something about the graphics of the house that reminded me of Carnevil.

Well, the protagonist doesn't seem to be an employee, so...
The thing that stood out for me was the plush toy on the chair. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was based on it being haunted.
Also, who's going to leave us encouraging messages every night before we tuck ourselves in to bed? :v:

Your dad(who is also the phone guy)'s ghost
I was thinking that maybe the sound the animatronic makes isn't just multiple screams compiled. Scott did say that the scream from the first game was just a childs scream so maybe the very audible scream from the first game is actually the protagonist screaming. I know I'd scream if that happened to me.

I actually played some of Robert Prince's music from Doom & Wolf 3-D to give the sense of danger and horror, just like Alien… as I mentioned earlier. The downside for that child is they are nearly defenseless with no weapons, or even known traits for flexibly dodging charging giant figures.
I really hope we get to move around. Maybe the timer we saw at the scene with shining the light on Plushtrap is a timer for how long you can stay out of your room before one of the animatronics comes and gets you?
What if you don't check back to see if Plush Trap is still in his chair, he'll open the other doors to make you vulnerable to the other monsters.

I thought the scream from the first game was sped up stock scream known as Howie scream.

Half-Life 2 uses a sped up version of Howie's scream, for them Fast Zombies at least.

It was the Howie Scream but the volume was increased.

It's a child's scream, you can hear it a little better if you open the sound file and listen past the point where it cuts off in-game
Too bad that sound effect's recording was leaning into 'fail' territory, with such a loud volume that caused crackling in the microphone and… sheesh. [SP]Why couldn't Freddy have a unique killing sound, maybe a roar like Doom's former humans when they notice you and start shooting..? Or even the sound of an actual bear?[/SP]

So the FNaF spinoff "Five Nights at Candy's" came out today and I must say it was actually fantastic. Not only did it gave me the experience FNaF 1 gave me but it also mixed the three games together in pretty subtle ways. The story is really well expanded upon, I've yet to beat 7/20 however. Also there's one enemy that can't jumpscare for some reason and I think its because it's too adorable to be scary.

Really well made, but too damn easy.
I blasted through the ENTIRE game tonight, only died a few times, all courtesy of Blank.
Blank was the only one that felt threatening, all the others made a sound as they neared the door, making it way too easy.
I just had a theory come to mind and I figured I'd share. What if the kid we're playing as is the one that got bit at Freddy's? That would explain why he, a child, sees these bots as monsters with large teeth when the bots themselves normally have flat teeth/harmless to children.
That popped another idea in my head. There are a lot of references to the purple guy in this kids room. What if he's the father? What if said father had his kids frontal lobe ripped out at a place that is meant to be child safe? Maybe he got upset that his child, out of a bunch that go there, was the one that was bit and had his life ruined. This could lead to him taking his anger out on all the other children thus causing the killings that happened. Then finally after a few years of doing this he'd finally take his anger out on the machines that did that to his child and destroy them once and for all (FNAF3 Minigames).
This is just an idea. I expect a million disagrees, but I thought it'd be cool to share. It'd be interesting to see this 'twist' in the story. The purple man still being evil, but this whole time was just trying to get revenge for his son that lost his future. Ultimately I hope I'm super far off though. I like not knowing until I play the game! xD
That robot fox looks like he's got a problem, his gaze gives me the impression of Downs Syndrome and the gaping jaw makes it no better.… Robots cannot get high unless they're Bender.
