Also tbh I think Scott's thinking is he sets a release date far back enough that he knows he'll have enough time to finish it, but ends up finishing the game early. And since he doesn't want to just sit on the game and wait for it he releases it when he thinks its done.
Can't blame him for it, I wouldn't sit on a finished game for an artificial release date either when it could be making money lol
._. I gave my bro £10 steam wallet cause he wanted to get a Voodoo Juju, now this comes out and, well I wanna play it ;-;
For what i can give credit, i like the looks of 4, but i can't take that he released it even earlier than the anniversary right now.
At least wait for that day :v:
I'd rather that a game be released early because it's finished then an unfinished game released early because of money.
Scott is better then a lot of developers that way.

Maybe he'll release bonus content both the anniversary and on halloween. It's the least he can do.

It truly is Halloween in July. Hallelujah.

God damnit Scott really
What happened to releasing it on the anniversary, and what's gonna happen to Halloween?
Is the steam overlay not working for anyone?
I'm trying to stream it for a few friends but I never get the message saying the overlay is working.
I mean, it's still that way, you only get jumpscared if you fucked up. The volume thing just adds another level
If you enjoy ear rape, that is. The only kind of it I like is of the OLDSACKS variety.
I have to admit it, this is the second time blood is actually featured in FNaF. RIP kiddy audience who played FNaF 1 & 2, it used to be such a bloodless carnage at the Pizz until Purple Guy took a lot of springs to his meat.
Like last time there's an extra menu after beating Night 7. What's neat this time is that there's a making of Foxy and Freddy, and a full body image of [sp]Nightmare[/sp]

[sp]I'm waiting to watch a let's play of it for the full story, but are those guys bullies basically holding the kid up to Fredbear? The kid is crying like he hates the place. Also it looks like the bite of '87 was those kids fault in the first place and the animatronics were blamed for it.[/sp]
Okay, so major spoilers, don't be an idiot and click them blindly, [sp]apparently you're the kid who gets bitten, the father and brother are majorly into Fazbear stuff, and when you're taken to your birthday party, the other kids with masks literally pick you up and jam your head in Freddy's operating mouth, including your own brother.[/sp] At least from what I can piece together.

[sp]so where does the purple guy fit into all this?[/sp]

[sp]They're each wearing different masks of the mascots. So those kids are probably the dead spirits haunting the animatronics now.[/sp]
[sp]so where does the purple guy fit into all this?[/sp]
[sp]I think he's bite victim's dad, who killed the spirits that haunt the animatronics because they killed his son, or, he thinks they did.[/sp]
[sp]I think he's bite victim's dad, who killed the spirits that haunt the animatronics because they killed his son, or, he thinks they did.[/sp]
[sp]It still doesn't explain the kid he seemingly murdered outside the older establishment, but simultaneously it could've been linking Puppet child to Purple Guy since this kid and Puppet have tears as a notable trait. For all we know if we go with your theory, he could've been a regular worker there, the kid hated this Fazbear stuff, and then he got crunched, causing the purple guy to become the Murderer and promptly murder each of the children responsible, including his other son.[/sp]
[sp]I think he's bite victim's dad, who killed the spirits that haunt the animatronics because they killed his son, or, he thinks they did.[/sp]
[sp]I think http://i.imgur.com/WYTeE0p.png is also an interesting kind of foreshadowing, with the purple guy "placing" someone else into the Springtrap suit. What doesn't make sense is why the purple guy murdered the kids BEFORE their spirits took over the animatronics.[/sp]
Wait… bullies? I can guess Scott got that from The 7th Guest, except it's way harsher than a bunch of kids daring Tad to sneak into Henry Stauf's mansion.
Are we not even six hours out and we know the ending? Geeze, the fans are working fast.
Also, Scott did say he was planning a Halloween update to replace the original release date. Wonder what that can involve going on from here.

We aren't even 3 hours out and know the ending already.
well this just fucks everything up
[sp]what, are 2 and fredbear taking place at the same time?[/sp]
[sp]At this point I'm pretty sure most of the events shown across the FNAF games aren't necessarily all related to each other and basically just stem from the fact the building itself is fucked up and haunted by a mysterious lovecraftian horror that seeps life into the inanimate and insanity into the living.
It's been established the building's been around for a really long time, so most of the events and anecdotes shown throughout don't have to be connected, they can just be fucked up shit that happened throughout the course of the establishment's existence.[/sp]

Far as I can tell, [sp]yeah, this leads up to or is after 2. Both games happened in the same general time frame, but this time you're a nameless child who ended up the bite victim. Which means the day shift guard and Purple Guy are very probably the same. If he was blamed and arrested temporarily, it'd explain why he took so long to finally come back to the Pizzeria to deal with the animatronics after 1.[/sp]
Now that FNAF4 is out, can Scott please, once and for all, tell us the real backstory, the timeline, etc?

That'd be boring

[sp]I think 2 takes place IMMEDIATELY after FNAF4. FNAF2 is dated November 13 of 1987, statistically meaning that the kid's birthday is probably before FNAF2 in the same year.[/sp]
