Holy fuck that Freddy is adorable.
Bonnie is pretty cute too.
In fact, I really picture these as being how the company would draw/market the '93 generation of characters.
You know how Chuck E Cheese always draws their characters kinda like the animatronics, but just a little but more child friendly/cutesy?
It's kind of like that.
That's what I'm going for, so good to know that I was successful in that regard. :D
;48527922']Do you have a tumblr/deviantart/whatever where you upload more of your works? FNAF related stuff or not I like your style
Thank you! My Tumblr is here, but just be warned that I tend to jump around between different fandoms and ideas a lot.
Fair point. Maybe I'll just combine Oxygen/Hull Integrity into one meter instead. Would make things a lot simpler.
Either that, or have creatures that specifically attack the oxygen supply/hull without damaging the other. Harder to balance of course, but it makes it more important to know exactly what creatures are incoming.

I jumped - it's a really cool Springtrap.

Welp, it's confirmed that Scott has no clue how to end a series and satisfy the players.
I'll try to avoid ranting by simply saying that I am beyond disappointed, and perhaps even questioning whether Scott even has a story line in mind at this point, or if he just pulled it out of his ass as he went along.

Probably his way of saying "lol I didn't program the box to be openable and there's nothing inside it anyway".
Probably his way of saying "lol I didn't program the box to be openable and there's nothing inside it anyway".
I tried REALLY hard to refrain from ever saying this, since I used to have a lot of faith in the guy, but I'm pretty sure everything after 2 was just a cash grab at this point.
It seems like this is his way of trying to get away with not actually having any story, and just throwing stuff out there that people would throw money at and "figure out".
So is he saying that the box can be opened? Just that no one figured out how yet?
I personally doubt that the box can actually be opened. Perl's file extraction didn't reveal anything that suggested what could be inside and there are no textures that show an opening/opened box either.
My response to the current debacle with the box is: "Chekhov's gun".
On another note, TCB has messaged me with interest on working on "Thalassophobia", and the possibility exists we may make the game on a 3D engine like Unity or even Source. If we do go 3D it means we can even throw in a few more little ideas I had to up the ante on the spoopyness. That'll be a secret for now.
okay so that was fucking vague and dumb. was he basically just saying some type of "the box is inside your heart" bullshit
what the fuck. that's not clever it's just dumb
I think in this position Scott is currently in, no matter what he does, some people will hate it.
Mostly he has made the right choices, I trust his judgement.
??????
the fucking people that found all the secret horseshit in FNAF3 not being able to find the pieces necessary to open the box? I call bullshit. especially since he mentioned opening the box was planned as part of the update earlier in the post
Scott's storyline for fnaf is a complete mess. there's no payoff. just a bunch of vague, convoluted threads that don't tie into anything. the story is in itself a red herring. nothing makes any sense.
[editline]25th August 2015[/editline]
if this is as much as we get for an ending to fnaf then that's really sad.

I'll reserve final judgment for the Halloween update but to be honest my expectations are at an all time low
i think scotts being cheeky
i hope scotts being cheeky

THIS SO MUCH
This is my issue.
The fourth game was a clusterfuck, story wise.
There were far too many contradictions and red herrings for any players to figure it out.
And instead of realizing that he fucked up, he goes "WOOPSIE, TRY AGAIN NEXT TIME", and blames the players.
the twist is only gametheory knows what's truly in the box

I'm calling it now. It will either be Davy Jone's heart or a fully intact, severed head.
relax guys scotts been about lying to us and hiding shit since day 1

He'll probably patch the box opening at 4:10 pm some unassuming afternoon and wait for the furor.

We will probably get Five Nights At Freddys 5 instead
You know.... There's alot of time between fnaf4 release and planned dlc date :v:
This is probably my new favorite Kosperry piece, a tribute to Scott:

That headcrab freddy.
Has anyone tried beating the fame while their system clock was set to the year 1987? Or the date of the previous games? I'm stretching, but if Scott is serious about this it's as good a theory as any other
You know those random numbers that flash in FNAF 4 at 6 AM?
Well...
They may not be quite so random.
Some people over at /vg/ have pointed out that they are in fact Bible Verses.
This matches up pretty well with Scott's Christian background and messages.
Google some of these and see for yourself.

Here's a pretty interesting one:
8:72
And all who were ever moved at the word of the Lord of Israel gathered around me, as I mourned over this iniquity, and I sat grief-stricken until the evening sacrifice.
It may seem a bit of a stretch, but think about this:
It fits perfectly with Purple's death.
All of the children who moved on to the afterlife gathered around him, shortly before he was "sacrificed".
The only question is... what the hell is he mourning?
there's nothing christian in freddy's before this, and if I had literally any two random numbers I'm pretty sure I could find a bible verse in one of the books that could vaguely relate to something else
so basically scotts like
"kids you failed me"
"im going to take your box away"
actually I'm just pissed that I had closure, not anything from the game but closure I was able to make for myself from what we knew
and then scott essentially takes that closure away, and literally locks it in a box where I might never potentially get it
and that's terrible
*stuff about the alarm clock*
I'm almost positive that the number sequence is randomly generated every time and whoever posted otherwise on /vg/ is grasping at straws like every other "theorist" trying to crack the unsolvable code that is Five Nights at Freddy's.
