There will be gnashing of teeth. (Appearance is not final)
I gotta say, so far your modeling and texturing is miles more competent then what I've seen on Greenlight.

Once we have a playable version to be tested we plan on starting a Steam Greenlight page and a Kickstarter campaign so I can get a pro licence for Maya and we can sell the game legitimately. (We're going to be needing about $4000 to cover it) Also, I planning on making some sound effects by using a waterproof bag with my phone inside with a voice recording app to make it like a real hydrophone, then I'll sink it in the local pool and I'll record myself swimming around and doing other stuff like making bubbles etc. That way we can have some really accurate SFX.

They'll go apeshit if they see ANY game on either Kickstarter or Steam Greenlight, and have gotten many games with literally nothing more than similar gameplay, removed from both sites because of Reporting Raids. Believe me, I think your game looks awesome, but you'll have to REALLY try to slip it under the radar of the fandom, at least until it's finally up on the market.
The sounds I recorded at the pool last night turned out pretty good, can't wait for people to hear them in the final game. EDIT: I've opened up a private Steam group for the game's developers so we can talk and share stuff with each other. Anyone interested in joining in on the project can shoot me a PM for an 'interview' to join the project.

Describe the gameplay and leave people to figure that out for themselves.
Our Steam group now has a public thread where we'll announce stuff like progress on the game, behinds the scenes stuff, etc.! https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ThalassophobiaGame

Here's a photo of the Hydrophone I made for recording underwater sounds at the pool! regular hydrophones look something like this:
It's very cool to see the process of this game being developed. Though just one concern: Since this is its own game instead of FNAF, shouldn't it have its own thread?

Although this incredibly amazing work that is inspired from FNAF (keep it up, Ryu!), it should have its own thread. This thread is currently on a one way ticket to being locked since its going off topic.
Yeah, I agree, it's time for Thalassophobia to have its own thread. I'll make one soon. EDIT: Done! All future updates and talk about Thalassophobia will be in this thread from now on: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1484930&p=48648936#post48648936
So Scott updated his website pic and this is in it now (in place of the FNAF 1 endoskeleton). It's cute.
So Scott updated his website pic and this is in it now... It's cute.
something something deconstruct the image for more clues and Five Nights at Freddy's 5 teaser
I swear the Halloween trailer for a new game is Six Evenings at Fredrick's or the like i will eat various hats.

I bet Scott will make sure we grow to fear this cutely terrifying endoskeleton. Also- none of the animatronics have eyes that close together. I call Scott shenanigans. Is this possibly a plushtrap buddy- from the original restaurant?
It looks like one is changing every day. FNAF 2 Endo is now different.
Seriously, I really hope this series is ended with the mystery solved, and then left to the fan base to take inspiration from
5日で ちびフレディさん?
Just a shot in the dark, but maybe this Halloween thing will be a game with these chibi-like endoskeletons? I can't really picture what we'd do with them, but it kinda fits the 'not FNAF 5 or more FNAF 4' ordeal.
he better not i don't know about you guys but i don't particularly give a fuck about anime endoskeletons
he better not i don't know about you guys but i don't particularly give a fuck about anime endoskeletons
Wait a minute, I GOT IT. ENDO'S BIZARRE NIGHTSHIFT
It updated again. Cartoonish Fredbear between Toy Bonnie, and Golden Freddy. [editline]11th September 2015[/editline] I am calling it, it's TV related.
If it's TV related, then it may become the Watership Back Up because FNAF involves a rabbit or two including death.… Did I mention something about Watership down way back in this thread? It's about the story (animated movie) first looking pretty cute because it's about bunnies, but then you go into the story and it becomes nightmare fuel for kids.

Which it damned well should be.
