The more and more I think about it the more I feel that FNAF 1 and 2 are like two totally different things. Fnaf1 just works better to me.

the first game had a very creepy atmosphere and aesthetic to it. The game cheaply made which is why it feels much spookier.
FNAF2 was just a cop out in terms of scare factor, especially the animations. Such a waste.

I wouldn't say it's as far as 'shit tier' but there's no doubt that FNAF2 didn't live up to the first one. You can tell Scott put effort in the second, but definitely needed to take his time more with it.
And we have to keep in mind too that he also had to make like eleven (?) different death scenes too. That's double what he did the first game.

Out of context they both look goofy, but I'll agree the first game had the better creepy ambiance. 2 wasn't terrible but most of the horror was detracted by forcing you to sit and wind up the goddamn music box every 5 seconds.
FNAF2 has some legititmate tension in it, but it's just as everyone else says, the gameplay ended up being just a little too interrupting (which also lead to a different kind of fear and stress). I will say FANF1 is much more enjoyable indeed.

All right, so I put all the maps side by side, and in conclusion....none of these look like the same fucking place. 3 doesn't have the big dining hall/stage area that 1 and 2 had, which means it's not a very faithful recreation of either the first or second restaurant.
Maybe Freddy's was a chain of stores? It doesn't really make sense, but neither does Fazbear Entertainment Inc. completely changing the floor plan before reopening.

A change of plan between the first and third games makes some sense—thirty years is a long time and who knows what changes subsequent owners made? I believe the restaurant from the second game is in a different building, though.
i just realized that the 3rd game's map looks a lot like a layout for a haunted house..
the skinny hallways that connect just really scream that out to me.

Isn't the F1 building around 91-95? I know some stuff the Game Theory guy says is not true, is just a theory, but the theory he has for the money per hour for F1 fits pretty well since on F2 the mph is exactly the same one for 87

The poses look a little weird, and you really ought to turn on your anti-aliasing. Jaggies are a no-no, especially if you're using any kind of depth of field effect.
