Why in the world is everyone so convinced it's a damn hybrid? The only one it even remotely resembles is Bonbon
Why in the world is everyone so convinced it's a damn hybrid? The only one it even remotely resembles is Bonbon
Tumblr, who else? :v:
But then again, it is quite a chunk of the fandom at this point now. Everyone is theorizing left and right with so little information given to us that we're left to assumptions. Thus the creation of the new title "Hybrid."
Because apparently a lot of people think the image of "whatcanweuse.jpg" was an idea of assuming Golden Bonnie (or whomever at this point) was just an animatronic combo from hell. Everyone just points fingers and says: "That head shape's funny... YOU'RE NOT BONNIE!" in a choir as if expecting dramatic stings to start playing out of no where...
Honestly if anyone here wants to go mythbuster on it, be my guest, I'd be interested in seeing if this is true or not.
The poses look a little weird, and you really ought to turn on your anti-aliasing. Jaggies are a no-no, especially if you're using any kind of depth of field effect.
Thanks, just got it fixed.
As for the wonky poses: I think I made Toy Freddy a little too comfortable with his seating spot, and might've went a little too overboard/underboard with the hand poses...

God that animating is horrible... he couldn't even fit in Toy Freddy's head right in 0:54
Also he wants 20k subs :v: and he couldn't even get THAT right... he puts 20,0000 instead.
Don't even get me started on his lighting...
I REALLY hope scott just releases all the models and shit once he's done.
The only models so far that aren't barf are I6NIS'.

I like how his arm is just barely obscuring the "DOOR" sign so that it looks like it says "DOOF".

says a lot about tf2's characterization that you can still tell some of the classes
All right, so I put all the maps side by side, and in conclusion....none of these look like the same fucking place. 3 doesn't have the big dining hall/stage area that 1 and 2 had, which means it's not a very faithful recreation of either the first or second restaurant.
Maybe Freddy's was a chain of stores? It doesn't really make sense, but neither does Fazbear Entertainment Inc. completely changing the floor plan before reopening.

The second game elaborates at the end that they switch to a smaller location to cut down on costs.
The third game is set in a haunted house based around the "Urban Legend" of the two restaurants, a good reason why it would be in a new location.

The only ones i can recognize are The Heavy (Toy Freddy), The Scout (Either the guard that BB is next to or Toy Chica), and Medic (Toy Bonnie, It's kind of obvious that that one is the medic since his taunts are the most stiff)

Engineer Ballon Boy, I'm 99,999999999% sure. It screams "Texan" to me

I can make out the Soldier, Scout, Engineer, Heavy, Demoman, Spy, and Pyro but Purple Guard and Mangle really throw me off.

Toy Chica is Demoman, he has that special dance.
I can make out the Soldier, Scout, Engineer, Heavy, Demoman, Spy, and Pyro but Purple Guard and Mangle really throw me off.
I'm guessing Mangle's might have been a full-body animation, but given how...unorthodox her body structure is, whoever made this gif decided to animate her head only, and leave the rest of her body static. An animation for a normal, 2-armed, 2-legged TF2 model probably wouldn't translate well to a robot fox with two heads and mismatched limbs sticking out in various directions.
Also, hey
[t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/55502105461458721/09EDFB07D8AFC09FB5A0A089B0DAA0474CE9EF52/[/t]
Puppet looks like the Spy (legs are spaced out pretty far, as opposed to Heavy, Medic and Soldier), I think BB and the guard next to him are Sniper, Freddy is 100% Heavy, Chica is Demoman, Bonnie is Pyro (with a little less arm movement I guess), one of the guards looks like the Soldier, and just like everyone else, I have no fucking clue what purple guy is doing. (but this is just me trying to match the animations in this gif with the ones in the Freddy version so I'm probably dead wrong)
Mangle might not even be a TF2 animation at all. Her animation doesn't loop perfectly like the others. You can see a 'seam' where the animation restarts
Purple guy is doing another variation of the cossack dance. It's been updated a few times (and still not released formal) so there are couple variations where Heavy is doing different things.

It doesn't make much sense for the 3rd game's location to be pretty much nothing like the ones in the previous games when the owners want to "make the experience as authentic as possible", though.

Do you know those spooky mansions on shows and movies? Theres no other paths except one, they keep walking into stupid jumpscares like Dracula or something. Its not like those things were "authentic", to me it makes sense why its just one path instead of multiple little hallways or something.
Can scott just release the damn game already

It says They're "going to great lengths" to have it as authentic as possible, which seems to mean as close to the original experience as possible, to the point they're even taking stuff out of the old restaurant. Caring about it being authentic enough to do that, but not having them care enough to at least have the place look like the original location doesn't make much sense. Besides, there isn't just one path on that map as there's the security office which leads to nowhere, and two rooms that only lead back to the previous room.

These things take time to polish
