Either A): "Spring Trap" is just another form of Golden Freddy that has no clear defined "base" to work off of since the other animatronics are now decommissioned, B): The skeleton inside is that of Purple Guy/Phone Guy/some other unlucky poor sap and is somehow reanimated in some form, C): The "skeleton" inside is just a fake for the new management's jackass pursuit of making the new location "authentic" as possible, or D): It is just a (possibly prototype) endoskeleton that just so happened to look more "human" than the older ones due to age and deterioration.
Kind of grasping at straws here, but there aren't that many other explanations I can think of at the moment.

You guys need to remember that the organic looking stuff that's visible may just be added for decoration by the scarehouse operators. It isn't a pizza place anymore, it's a scare house. It's supposed to look spooky. This could be completely wrong though.

Maybe there'll be multiple jumpscares, since there's only one animatronic.
Did scott confirm that there is going to be a guy on the phone in the first place? What if on night 1 you just go there and no one is talking to you, you are confused as hell and scared, and since you do a horrible job or something they need a guy to call you. I dunno, its to early to guess. It would be sick if theres like a bear trap in Springtraps head though, and one of the jumpscares is him taking off his head to reveal the bear trap and it bites you.

The title screen for the joke game has "play voice" objects which are used in the previous games to control which phone guy quote should play. These are either left over or we'll see a phone person in FNaF3.

Maybe it will just be the exact same messages used in FNAF1. Those messages could have been recorded years before and are just repeated on a certain day for each new security guard.

Hate to bother you all with theories, but in the first night of FNaF 2 phone guy references doors and the building running out of power. Could they of been in the first games building before FNAF 2? It makes sense if the second game is the height of the franchise, the biggest location etc etc and they were in a smaller location before that. I don't think anywhere else would have blast doors to close XD

Good. Sorry if that sounds rude but I've never really heard anything good about them. What little info I picked up on with their au (or whatever) it seems kinda stupid and people took it waaaaaay too seriously. No wonder why the FNAF ate that shit up because a lot of them are under fourteen. Also the fandom is being way too dramatic about it. It hasn't even been around for a year and people are treating Reb leaving like Jesus had died.

So I just had my first ever dream/nightmare about FNaF (we still do this, right?).
I was helping out a friend at night who was preparing for his little kid's birthday for the next day. Somehow he did a lot of DIY attractions and games, one of which was a fully functional Foxy with 'emotions'.
At first we tested/played some of the stuff with Foxy --and he was real friendly as well-- but for some reason, we decided to send him away by tricking him. We handed him some pirate costumes and told him to try some on 'offscreen' while we left the room to try out some of the other games.
After a while the room suddenly went dark. At the doorway was a furious looking Foxy, glaring daggers at us, and he turned off all of the lights. The last thing I saw was his glowing eye before he closed it.
According to my dad, I hooted like an owl before waking up. :v:
