Welp, i'm on night 5 (FNAF3) and i gotta say it's a load of fun, the new environments and spring trap is awesome, although i'm still curious as to what the audio device does, i've been playing BB's sounds whenever i see spring-trap on the monitor and it's seemed to work so far, not on this night though. lol
Sorry in advance if this comes of as negative, and please don't take this the wrong way because I don't hate the series at all. But why on earth is this game series getting so much hype and excitement? I do enjoy it's lore and backstory that's there, however the every game seems to come out so soon after the other with little changes, rather than spending a good amount of time on working on each one. With the most confusing thing of having the same guy on the phone every time, maybe there is a reasoning behind that, just seems odd.
I'm just really confused, ever since the sequel got so much hype and attention, and the various OC's and fan art everywhere is baffling to say the least. Perhaps I'm not getting something here, can anyone explain why people love it so much?
So, why isn't regular Bonnie included in the phantom/burned animatronics?
Maybe not so much about the game lore, but [sp]I wonder if the voice of Phone Dude (what they're calling the new guy on the phone on TV Tropes) is one of Scott's sons. He does use them as beta testers and he sounds similar enough[/sp].
I am pretty sure it is himself. If I am correct he has kids, not teenagers.
-snip-
[sp]I need some help, once Springtrap runs over past the window, I am pretty much boned. Is there anyway at all to get him away from there? And when he is peaking into my door? It really annoys me. And is there a way to get rid of Hallucinations that are in your room?[/sp]
when springtrap runs past your window and hides on the RIGHT side of the door, use balloon boy's laugh to bring him to cam 01. after he's at cam 01, use the laugh AGAIN to bring him to cam 02. the laugh on later nights only works when spring trap is close to that camera. if he's at the window, you can just hit cam 02's laugh. however, if he's watching you from the LEFT side of the door, it's possible to avoid him if you're lucky enough not to have anything go offline. keeping the system panel down keeps him out most of the time, so long as you can get a laugh in once in a while on cam 01.

Because of the lore and backstory and the game itself is a strategy/horror hybrid, which isn't seen too often (unless you count the million fnaf fan games). Simply put, it's an enigma that rivals that of the inner machinations Patrick's mind and we're all putting things together and coming up with theories to find the answer and the fandom should be ignored for everyone's sanity.
really now im just wondering if scott will make a FNAF 4 and how it will be at all, theres like nothing left to do
If he does decide to not end the series with this one, I hope he never plans to make anything else. Every time he announces he's going to stop doing Freddy stuff, the fanbase is gonna go nuts. And I hope if he does go through with a FNaF 4 he takes a bit more time off.

You know the "Don't fix what isn't broken" stuff? So it applies in here. Also from what i know the phone guy is different in here, it was the same one on the first two games. Plus is a short game so there isn't a good reason to have a long development
Because of the lore and backstory and the game itself is a strategy/horror hybrid, which isn't seen too often (unless you count the million fnaf fan games). The other crap like OCs are just the fandom.
Much appreciated, I was under the impression that was the case so it's good to have clarification. I'm just going to assume most of my confusion is from mixing the fandom with people who just like the series. Again I do enjoy the story and lore of the series myself as well, it is very well crafted.
Also thanks for the information about the phone guy Kayoduck, glad they changed it up from before. I agree also with how the development for the game works they are good games in their own right. I was simply confused as to why the series has become so popular, but thankfully that's all cleared up.

He's dressed up to be a horror prop right? That anatomy dont make much sense if not.
Trust me I'm an Expert
I do enjoy it's lore and backstory that's there
You must be a masochist if you're here for the lore. Scott leaves so much to be desired and precious little is explained from one game to the next. It borders on infuriating.
But what of [sp] Golden Freddy? where does he fit in all of this [/sp]
I'm surprised we get to see [sp] Mangle & BB, but not the 3 other Toy Animatronics [/sp]
And how come there is no [sp] Phantom Bonnie? Bonnie can't possibly be Springtrap if we look at the bad ending minigame, we see all 4 animatronics broken down by Purple Guy as the ghost kid before he gets himself inside Spring's suit [/sp]

No, he isn't a horror prop.
So, why isn't regular Bonnie included in the phantom/burned animatronics?
I don't have an answer to that, but speaking of Bonnie, why was emphasis put on him in the trailer? Was Scott just trying to throw us off?

That's what Dark Souls did and look how many Dark Souls lore theory videos there are on YouTube, people like that kind of storytelling.
I made a thing (possible spoilers):

Golden Freddy is just a suit used by the murder. I assume he is the same as Springtrap where you can climb into the suit.
Apparently some people are comparing spring trap to spring time? Honestly, I see the 1st gen suits as nothing more than complex spring powered wind up animatrons. They also serve as human death traps too.

I love lore, it's the main reason that I love vijya games so much. Things like this, Halo, and Dead Space keep me thinking and that's why I always come back to them.
WOAHWAITWHATTHESHIT the third game came out? how long ago did this happen? fuck, I feel like I missed the train at the station

Similar to games like dark souls that leaves things in the lore up to the player to interoperate and decide upon isn't always a bad thing and can help make you more engrossed in the world it's trying to build. It can be infuriating if it's not done very well or is generally vague to begin with, I do agree there. This series does give enough clues and hints though which I like about it most.

There's a Bonnie minigame that shows a golden bunny as well as a golden Freddy, with the former probably being Springtrap's original self. They were being used out in the middle of the day, so they were probably springtime variants with Springtrap being a mascot worn by a staff member.
I honestly think its a shame that the Legend of FNAF has ended, lets just hope Desolate of Hope receives alot of attention
