Thats not what I mean. The mechanics of the first game are what made it scary. The doors The power clicking on the light to check if the anamatronics were standing there freaked the fucking shit out of me.
There was a lot of time just spent sitting and anticipating that freaked me out alot.
The sitting and anticipating is present in 3, in the form of fixing your systems.
Checking the lights to see if the animatronics were there is present in 2, in the form of the vents.
I'm just saying that gameplay wise I'm disappointed. I really dont like "jump out and say boo haha not real mechanic"
That's fine. I didn't particularly like the power mechanic in 1.

The info of the kickstarter is pretty interesting
"I grew up in the golden age of animatronic pizza places, and while I LOVED those places, they still scared the hell out of me! I always knew that there were creepy robots underneath those giant costumes. I think that fear was shared by most of the other kids too."
There is nothing that he can really cover with the games anymore since in FNAF 3 [sp]pretty much most things related to Fazbear's Pizza got destroyed in a fire[/sp]. If he decides to make another game about the first ever restaurant there would be nothing to uncover because it was done in the second and the animatronics weren't possessed back then, there is nothing else he can do without making it look silly.
I have to disagree with the 'nothing more to explore' bit-
The child ghosts of Marionette (original child murder) and Golden Freddy (fifth child of the gift-given) are still not at rest.
We still don't really understand the story of Golden Freddy and his ghost, or the era of the original Spring Crank animatronics, or the temporary mascot suits that came after (probably where Golden Freddy started).
The event of the 'multiple spring crank failures' has Purpleguy's name written all over it.
I think there's more of a backstory to Mangle and BB. And why BB's child voice lures Springtrap around.
A lot still to work out.
being the primarily smart/educated/has sanity section of the Five Nights at Freddy's area
this is, this is, wow, saddening really, didnt know alot of people felt FNAF like this

In night 2, the employee training tape mentions that while in animatronic mode, the spring suits are programmed to respond to and move toward noise so that they will naturally gravitate to areas with lots of kids. I imagine some of that original programming is at work there. Since the spring locks failed, the suit snapped back into animatronic mode (as opposed to wearable mode) and so would respond to a child's voice in the way it was programmed
The other possibility is recreat the older games with newer engines and stuff

Late because I just got out of work to see the vids :v:
Guys I think I know why the Animatronics attack you in FN@F1.
[sp]So since Phone Guy dies on Night 4, that means Springtrap had to be locked away before Night 4. Which means that the Purple Guy would have had to disassemble the Animatronic suits. And since Purple Guy dies, the children spirits leave and can finally pass away fully.
Now that is all fine and dandy, but the problem is night 1-7 since Phone Guy has finished his week when you start. How come all the Animatronics are trying to attack you even though the spirits left the Animatronics and Purple Guy is dead?
Well if you refer to FN@F2, one audio log mentions that the Animatronics have been tampered with, this includes the original 4 in FN@F2. The programming has not been fixed since the Pizzeria gets shut down after Night 7, meaning that the 4 in FN@F2 which become the 4 in FN@F1 are still programmed the same way. So even though the spirits left, the programming is still acting up making them more aggressive to adults.
And this is possible since the Toy Animatronics do not have any dead children in them, well that we know of.
So the Animatronics in FN@F1 are not haunted but the programming is still tampered with. And since being out of a costume is against the rules, they think you are a naked Endoskeleton and shove you into an Animatronic Suit, like Phone guy said in FN@F1.
But what about Bonnie passing the Naked Endoskeleton in FN@F1? Well that is easy to explain, it is spare parts, they are obviously programmed to not worry about the suits and endoskeletons in that room otherwise they would be looking for Endoskeletons all the time since there are tons of empty suits.
Also another reason they might come to you is because they are attracted to sound, they think you are a kid but when they see you, into an Endoskeleton you go since you are not a Kid and you are here at night.[/sp]
Also I think I know where the mysterious carnival music comes from.
[sp]In the Night 5 minigame in FN@F3, the same minigame where you see Purple Guy die, you can see this in the same room. http://puu.sh/gllhP/2eb9ddd48d.png It looks like an arcade cabinet, which would make sense considering it's a Pizzeria which is known to have stuff kids with play with and that FN@F3 also has a Cabinet.
But you might be wondering, that room is not for kids and it's not a place to hang out, why would Arcade Cabinet be there? Storage, the spare parts room in FN@F1 is too small for Arcade Cabinets, so any spare Arcade Cabinet would be put into the room where people enter and leave the Animatronic Suits.
And the reason the Arcade Cabinet plays sound? Well Purple guy is still technically alive. Well if you consider haunting a suit alive.[/sp]
What do you guys think?
If Scott were to make another game for FNAF, I wouldn't mind if it deviated from the old design, and instead maybe followed a crime scene investigation of the diner or something else in a point n' click thing ala Scratches style.
This definitely had been a fun series, though. I originally disliked the dead children ghost stuff, but I guess it grew on me, at least a bit, and this is good enough closure for me.
You know what would be neat? Scott patching in some way to access the sealed safe room in either the first or second game. He can move on to working on other titles, but every now and again, he can release an update that adds a few more clues for you to find lying around the restaurants.
That, or a point-and-click investigation/adventure game would be cool, like Tycholarfero said.
why do people feel like there NEEDS to be hidden stuff
Kinda sad actually, it really does feel like the end. The last image we get... no hidden text or faces. Just a lonely hat of a forgotten entity lying on the stage under the spotlight. Nothing to look for, more like the spotlight is about to turn off, thus the end of the story. Farewell Fazbear's.
My question is why is there no paycheck at the end of the week like the last two games?
I feel like it just ends. Why is your character even there at night? I don't feel like there was a purpose to this one.
This game had the best scares and best gameplay of the three imo, but there wasn't a point imo.
Because its an attraction not an actual job
Because its an attraction not an actual job
You are supposed to be working at it though.
Sad to put hours of shitty theorizing and then realizing that, its taken away from you, no more theorizing and no more clues, it was as if we were investigating a giant murder scene...
....wait, holy shit...
We were, and that's what made people either love or hate this series. A lot of people didn't look past the facecam jumpscares, but what really drew in the people who did get involved was the mystery behind it, the series has felt like one giant ARG putting us all in a horror mystery. It's been a great ride everyone.
the series has felt like one giant ARG putting us all in a horror mystery.

You are supposed to be working at it though.
I was under the impression that you were only there to make sure everything was working right, since the attraction hadn't even opened yet (and it never did). Plus, Phone Dude (is this what we're calling him?) practically disappears after Night 2, so there's nobody left to pay you.
Phone Dude seems kind of sketchy overall. It doesn't feel right that we never heard anything more from him. At least with Phone Guy, he was killed in the first game, and in the second he was last heard explaining that there was only one more party to be taken care of. There was a reason for him leaving. With Phone Dude, it's just "gotta go man" and then he's silent for the rest of the game.

I believe the scene with [sp]Purple Guy getting squished into Springtrap[/sp] takes place between FNAF1 and FNAF3. Springtrap would have no effect on the events of 1 or 2 directly.

"Let me get this straight, we still have around 7 teasers to go if my theory is correct. I think the BB teaser was the start of a countdown of teasers.. I think this because;
March 1st, BB Teaser
March 2nd, It's all in your mind.
March 3rd, Hat.
With the hidden 10 you can kind of see where i'm coming from here.
TL:DR : stop fucking freaking out you people this is why we can't have nice things"
