Wait, that isn't Golden Freddy; that's Golden Bonnie!
He's not exactly golden either, more of a putrid green.

Let's figure out what this does, because it looks like there's at least some new gameplay mechanics.
So ok, let's see if i got it right: so Golden Freddy got "revived" by using parts from the other animatronics. Well it makes more sense since the trailer keeps metioning "him" which is either Freddy, the killer or GF.

I guess ventilation is going to be for the toxic stuff we were going to get on the second game
That animatronic is fucking terrifying, big improvement over the toy animatronics imo

In that picature I presume that everything is broke and that the player has to reboot all the mechanisms. Maybe the player takes on the role of "testing" the haunted house stuff.

Silly as it might sound, maybe "he" is you? If the machines can't tell one guard from another then as far as they know you keep coming back, over and over, invading their home, causing trouble, but they have a place for you, inside.
Looks like you don't hold the monitor right up against your eyeballs this time either, you still have some peripherals.
[editline]26th January 2015[/editline]
Well it is 30 years older, also the place is being reopened as a haunted house of sorts, looks like they deliberately dressed him up to be a bit more creepy looking.
It's more like a museum instead of haunted house, sort of like the one in the movie "House of 1000 Corpses" by Rob Zombie
I wonder what the dots at the bottom left of the monitor are.
There are three in this screenshot:

but only two in this one:

It could just be placeholder graphics or something.

Golden Freddy/Bonnie/whatever might make noise when moving so you need to keep the audio running, camera is quite obvious and as KayoDuck said, ventilation might mean the toxic mechanic which could act as the new music box: you must ventilate the office or you'll get poisoned.
I hope the game will get rendered AND displayed in 1920x1080 instead of being downscaled from that, the game itself runs at a very low resolution, while the rendered scenes are 1080p, frustrated me to no end

It might be that too, good point. I just hope there is a good reason for you staying inside of the museum/house, that was the biggest down factor for me: there is no appealing for the character keep doing this on the other two games, you know the place is fucked up and you are staying just to get some money? You are risking your own life over something for a few bucks? Why just don't go off and find a better job? It just makes the security guard look like it's crazy dude who would do anything to get some dollars, like some people do in real life, but i can't see this being a good statement for making the character keep doing it
I swear those parts in the box are gonna do something ingame, there's no way they're just there for decoration.
I'm intrigued. Seems like some news ideas are making it into the game.
Golden(?) Bonnie seems pretty unsettling, and I think going with 1 robot will shake up the gameplay quite a bit.
Good work Scott.
So only 1 animatronic?
20 mode
ON TOPIC
So this is an attraction now, aka, no specific lore with the "Purple Man" and the "Phone Guy"
or he went the EA way and decided to add DLC
D-D-D-DOUBLE EDIT
but seriously, no phone guy, hows the tutorial going to work now?
I'm not sure about the idea of it being some sort of haunted house. I liked how the 2 games so far were about a place that isn't meant to be scary having these terrifying animatronics, but if it's a place where things are supposed to be scary it's not quite the same. It makes the location just all seem fake.
The idea of the owners turning what happened in the games into an actual attraction sounds kinda bad. It removes some of the dark mysterious part of it regarding if they knew what was going on or not, or if they cared at all.

Spooky little empty Freddy there.

Three systems to reboot, and possibly two "shortcuts" in the map and one "exit". Like most horror attractions, it is all one big corridor of horror. Golden Bonnie probably starts from 10 and goes down to 1 before you die. There are jumps from 8-5 (skipping the 7-6 room), and 5-2 (skipping 4-3 room). My guess is that you need to use the reboots to buy time against GB, possibly re-booting the systems to interrupt it or whatever. The final "Reboot All" function is probably what you use as a last minute resort to restart GB back to 10.
It's all just a guess though.
Ahhhh god
That bonnie scared the shit out of me
-stuff that you should go up to see-
Scott said there was only 1 animatronic, which really, isnt the spook'd factor for me, I just hope he adds at least hallucinations because that G.Bonnie doesnt even look half spooks
I want doors.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. It's a different direction, for sure, but Scott's penchant for dark comedy hints to me that he likely has some more reasoning behind the choice in setting. Could be a set-up for mockery of common horror-tropes, or even of the fanbase itself.
Or it might not be. Too early to judge, I say.
G.Bonnie walks in, what do to prevent him from comin in?
This thread is really going fast now!
So in the trailer we see part of a pizza place, maybe more flashbacks?
Edit: Also, that animatronic looks like Bonnie.
Does the fact that this seems to have the décor of FNAF1's pizzeria suggest that FNAF2 was indeed a prequel?
One would think. Except there seems to be an arcade machine in the trailer.
Did FNAF2 have visible arcade machines in the game room?
It's been almost 87 days...
Golden Buddy looks stoned.
