Isn't the common theory that the [sp] very first murder was committed at Fredbear's Diner? The very first establishment? The reason for this is that the minigame takes place in a very small building with no other rooms other than the main one where the kids were at, and there was only one electronic, being Fredbear, theorized to be Golden Freddy in his better days. The child that was murdered at that moment is said to be the puppet, but the puppet is no where to be seen in FNAF1 so who the hell knows anymore.[/sp]
That's why [sp]I wish the 3rd game had more closure on the Puppet. There's literally nothing new concerning it except that its mask is removable. [/sp]

Things in the 3rd game just confuse it even more. The [sp] boarded up room and spring suits (When that happened), when the ghosts possessed the animatronics and what they actually took control of [/sp] aren't explained at all. Neither is when the incident actually took place, the 2nd game suggests it's around then based on the phone calls, but that doesn't fit in with how the animatronics act assuming [sp] the ghosts were the reason they were like that.[/sp] Based on one of the minigames in the 3rd game it seems one of them [sp] actually was in Golden Freddy, and there isn't one in the puppet[/sp] which does not make much sense.
Why does no one seem to remember that there are six dead children instead of just five? I would guess Puppet, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Golden Freddy (Diner Freddy). One at the diner became Puppet, and five at the first pizza joint became the main four and diner freddy. IMO
I guess I will put this here again. First murder was before FNAF2. Other five were during FNAF2.
That's the biggest issue with the 3rd one. In stead of giving some closure on the events of the first two games, Scott decides to suddenly slap in all this new stuff like secret rooms and springtrap suits. The whole premise sounds like something you would read in the FNAF2 comments as a suggestion for a new game by some rabid 10-year old. [sp]"Hey guyz, wouldn't it be cool if there was like an animatronic that you could also like wear at the same time. And if it like malfunctions, the guy inside is like totally screwed and stuff. Oh man and then purple guy dies in that suit in like an ultimate form of irony! And then the original dead kidz are at rest or something cause their killer is like also dead. Scott plz read this!!"[/sp] I mean, it's just so full of plotholes. The game itself is great, he actually managed to make looking at the cameras mandatory, but springtrap and all the new stuff feels unnatural and forced.
So how exactly does a springcrank anamatronic work? Wouldn't there be a huge mishmash of steel and springs in the chest area?
So how exactly does a springcrank anamatronic work? Wouldn't there be a huge mishmash of steel and springs in the chest area?
Simple, it doesn't. Save for the head there's no way a human being could fit in there.
So how exactly does a springcrank anamatronic work? Wouldn't there be a huge mishmash of steel and springs in the chest area?
That's sort of the idea, it's described somewhat in the phone calls [sp]basically it's a standard mascot suit but you're able to compress the internal components and keep them held in place with spring locks (hence the name), so that a person can more or less fit inside, in that state it can't link with an endoskeleton though but it doesn't need to since it's operated by the wearer. This ended up backfiring pretty heavily though as the locks were very sensitive and the suits are pretty much deathtraps so they were retired completely.[/sp]
I don't care for Game Theorists all that much but his FNAF1 and FNAF2 videos were pretty solid. Besides the end of each one where his conclusions are that [sp]you are the killer in FNAF1, and then the phone guy is the killer in FNAF2[/sp] Honestly he lost my attention at those points. Everything else was good though.
So how exactly does a springcrank anamatronic work?

I originally posted this because MatPat understands that most of his viewers want FNAF3 theory video I dont know why the X's
Back in FnaF1, someone said Scott should get a voice actor, but I always liked the Phone Guy. Hearing him now after having to listen to the Phone Dude kinda mocking him just gave a very at-home feeling and emphasized his personality.

Well, get ready for a non-sense theory, and NO IT'S TRUE GAME THEORY SAID SO!!!!
i've literally never seen anyone regard game theory as fact
To be fair, that second one was a pretty reasonable conclusion given the information we had at the time.
Don't forget though, it's the guy who said Wario is TEN FEET TALL
To be fair, that second one was a pretty reasonable conclusion given the information we had at the time.
I just don't like how all his videos have titles such as "SOLVED" "EXPOSED" or "THE TRUTH", while still being all like "But that's just a theory!" Feels like those sensationalist headlines you get in the newspapers.

Feels like those sensationalist headlines you get in the newspapers.
Not to go on a MatPat rant or anything, but the worst part is that he mixes videos like "Big Boss might be a stoner!" with "Here's all the hints of lore that we know from FNAF, and I'm here to put it all together." The second type of videos are the ones I'd like to see (actual theories based off of hints in the lore rather than speculation), but I don't want to take the time and watch his videos in order to figure out which one they are. But off of that topic. Have we gotten any word from Scott since FNAF3 released? Or are we in the dark until his next project?

How the hell did you guys find out everything from the game in like 2 days?
How the hell did you guys find out everything from the game in like 2 days?
I'd say it was more like one day.
How the hell did you guys find out everything from the game in like 2 days?
We are the night, we are the shadow, we are hivemind, we are legion. It's me. It's they. We are the tireless FNAF plot hunters. Our journey is endless and our path ever winding (not unlike the plot)... We may end up squished in grimy old suits, but we will do so knowing we came one step closer to understanding what the hell Scott is doing with the FNAF legacy and lore. Edit: BOXFORT TIME!!!
Not to go on a MatPat rant or anything, but the worst part is that he mixes videos like "Big Boss might be a stoner!"...
I actually want to see this though.
I actually want to see this though.
What's stopping you to watch it?
What's stopping you to watch it?
edit: oh shit i thought he was exaggerating but its a real video. nevermind, my dumb joke failed
I just don't like how all his videos have titles such as "SOLVED" "EXPOSED" or "THE TRUTH", while still being all like "But that's just a theory!" His FNAF theories weren't really too bad but there were lots of hints that something else was going on in the story, it could have been so much better than what we got.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7MjOUZFnrA
Did you make this or just link it? That was hilarious.
