Well according to that Kotaku article, he's on board.

I'm hoping it's just Hollywood being very late on April Fools.
Because Hollywood would take anything good that was in Five Nights and make it typical Hollywood Horror garbage.
What the fuck is this for game and why does it have 3 games and a upcoming movie in less than a year. It looks like some furr people who got confused on who to reproduce with and instead had sex with old russian sofa/couches and this came out of it.

If I'm correct, movies only usually turn out bad if the creator doesn't watch over it as it is made.

That's definetley part of it. Like the movie based off of "Holes" turned out pretty good and that was partially due to the book's author Louis Sachar writing the script.
I've always seen the possibility of a movie for the game so it wasn't too surprising. Not gonna get my hopes up for this movie, though.

If its done right it could potentially be a really good and terrifying film, but with how the streak of horror movies goes lately I'm not going to get my hopes up either. It is kinda weird how Scott hasn't made some sort of announcement though as someone else pointed out. :0

For some reason, the thought of an investigator trying to figure out what went on with the murders comes to mind. What I mean is like they initially worked the day shift at the restaurant from the second game, and never found out what went on with the missing kids, so maybe years later they try and investigate for themselves or something? I dunno.
A movie sounds cool but id prefer an Amnesia-esque full 3d game where you need to avoid the fuckers in the pizzeria by running away and hiding; perhaps being able to view the cameras from wherever you are ingame as if your character has some cheapo Fazzbears security mobile app?
I'm honestly just very happy for Scott if it's true. Beyond that, if Scott or someone even better can do the writing and somehow stay at least slightly on par with canon then I'll be happy. Sounds like an excellent chance to deepen the lore even more but I'm guessing that it'll just be another Hollywood haunted house attraction.

Question is, if the Clickteam Fusion engine forces FNaF to terminate when Golden Freddy's death sets off. I don't remember on which page that was uncovered, but I do know the Freddy in piss color was stored in the Kitchen.

Three small ideas for the people who want to make a costume of Springtrap (they work best when executed together):
The hard one: Split the head of your suit into two parts (the lower jaw and the rest) and make the upper part liftable (like an armor visor), so you would be able to expose either your mouth or your entire face and have some time to breath freely.
The medium one: Before putting on your costume, take some kind of (preferably dark red) berry jam and smear it all over your face.
The easy one: As always, remember to smile; you are the face of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

Clickteam has an event for "end the application". It does the same thing when you press escape.
For fucks sakes they're making a movie? Even though I love the games this is just straight up milking
