I'm not really a big fan of the series nor have I played the game that much, so I want to know what really is the potential for a good movie story?
I mean it's a guy that gets hired as night security for a pizzaria with broken animatronics.
Anything besides that?

freddy's is the only game series i'll ever forgive for it's milking and it's most likely all because i've seen scott's fame and success build infront of my eyes and its impossible for me to demonize someone who's accidentally shat out a masterpiece that saved him from the brink of suicide.
the freddy's movie is giving me bad vibes but it's not gonna stop me for being happy for the guy

The direction I'm hoping they take with the movie is exploration of the lore behind the series. We still don't fully know what led up to the events of FNaF 2, 1, and 3. I think they could do some cool stuff with the original diner and the original murder of the boy who came to haunt the Puppet.

There were murders of kids by an employee and they haunted the robots. Each game adds more clues over who killed them.
And honestly Scott wouldn't be very smart if he turned down the movie deal. Financial stability over "milking" or "selling out" is far more important. His family's probably super proud and excited for it, especially his kids.
