can't believe people are still afraid of this. i remember playing the first game on a hefty dose of LSD, wasn't as frightening as you might expect [editline]18th April 2015[/editline] although i did think it was a fun concept for a stream
It was also pretty fun for me to try the RagMorph mod with FNaF Nextbots and entities: I set things up so my ragdoll playermodel would go in the direction he faced while I set the head to look/point where I faced in 3rd Person view... Of course, ragdolls are "dead bodies" and I couldn't die even without Buddha active.
I tried to make FNAF2 withered Foxy model. What do you think?

Does scott still have the rights to Five Night's At Freddy's? as quoted on this article. "The movie rights to the horror video game series 'Five Nights at Freddy's' by indie developer Scott Cawthon has been acquired by Warner Bros. Studios" it stats MOVIE rights, but they don't mean the game rights to FNAF right?

Oop, Scottgames is down once again. Well. was

Seriously who gives a fuck what drugs you were on when you played the game. What relevance does this information bring?
Ahhh.. still missing the old days of seeing trailers for new FNAF stuff or even the awesome screenshots/hints on scott's website... i really hope he does more of that in the future D:

Scott's site updated, He's taken more measures to counter impersonators:
Just to put an end to the impersonators- my official twitter is @real_scawthon, my official Twitch is Animdude, and my official youtube is https://www.youtube.com/user/animdude. Only trust my website and my official Steam pages for FNaF news. Please be supportive of one another and of the community!

Why do people do this? Seriously who gives a fuck what drugs you were on when you played the game. What relevance does this information bring?
why does his inclusion of that information anger you so much? LSD can lead to amplified feelings of fear, he was specifying that it wasn't that scary it's like complaining if somebody comes in to post that they played the game on holiday just because their life isn't directly tied to the game
Scott's site updated, He's taken more measures to counter impersonators:
Does this mean that the words about the FNaF movie were fake?
Does this mean that the words about the FNaF movie were fake?
Not specifically, He hasn't confirmed nor denied it.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ya9eiDY.png[/thumb] Dammit, i was actually hoping he was going to use it. It also means Scott got numerous twitter confirmation emails of idiots trying to register on his email.
Yet another Springtrap model was released onto the workshop: Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=428357685&searchtext= Glad Scott is taking measures to stop impersonators

I just had a thought recently for a fangame based on FNAF/TF2, and I felt like sharing it to get some input. "Night Shift at Teufort" NSAT is a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” style fangame that takes place within the TF2 universe, with its own unique TF2-inspired twists. No haunted animatronics. No reliance on jumpscares. Just strategy, observation, and resource management, with all of TF2’s charm. You play as the Red Engineer, who’s tasked with guarding the Intelligence briefcase at 2Fort. It’s quiet tonight; Blu team is nowhere to be found, but something tells you that Spies are on the prowl. You set up your sentry nest in the Intel Room and use your new camera system to check up on your teammates that are topside. Anyone of them could possibly be a spy in disguise; keep a close eye on them as they go about their business and watch to see if any of them act suspicious. Spies will use different strategies in order to get to you, such as sapping cameras, or simply going Cloak n’ Dagger all the way through (You will see a flicker of their outline sometimes on camera). Watch them carefully and figure out how they're going to attack so you know how to deal with them! Occasionally one of your teammates will come down to check on you; if you know they’re a spy, use your wrangler to make your sentry shoot through the doorways, or at your teleporter exit, to kill them before they attack you! Be careful though; your sentry’s ammo is limited and there’s no spare metal around to refill it! Each night it escalates as more spies enter the fray! Those familiar with the TF2 characters will recognize the way characters should usually act; Heavy might spend his time eating a sandwich, chatting with Medic, or polishing his gun. Demoman stumbles around while drunk or sleeps in a drunken stupor in a corner somewhere. Pyro might be sitting and playing in a kiddie pool full of gasoline, lighting random things on fire, etc. If they do anything out of the ordinary, then something might be up. I figure, I could use the Clickteam Fusion Engine, and the graphics can be done with some well-made Gmod screenshots with some editing in Photoshop to spruce them up, and the sound effects can be taken directly from TF2. The only thing I think I'd really need help with is some programming to make the whole behavioral thing with the other TF2 characters work, since that's a lot different then the normal behavioral patterns of the Animatronics in FNAF. Does it sound like this would be a fun game, and would you play it?
Big Ole' Text dump about NSAT
If you can get people to help, I have a feeling this would turn out pretty well. Hell, I'd love to help if I can.
Cool, yeah, I'd love help on it! Also I had an idea for an alternate gamemode where instead of "nights" where you survive for an allotted amount of time, you'd have "waves", where the player would simply have to kill all spies to win. It would be more of a casual-friendly mode. I just made a save in Gmod so I can set it up for making the backgrounds. I'll pose the mercs in various situations, etc. later. Here's the Intel room. I've used the halo tool on the objects that are going to be clickable. Left Sentry is to shoot into the Left hallway, Right Sentry shoots into the Right hallway. The TV is to check your Cameras, and the Wrench allows you to repair sapped cameras. [thumb]http://a.pomf.se/fljhah.jpg[/thumb] Also I'll shrink the final images down to 720p so that it's a little more accessible to most computers, even lower-end ones. EDIT: Instead of a "Phone Guy", NSAT will use recycled lines from the Administrator. There's enough that they'll fit all the possible situations. EDIT: Another possible gameplay idea: On later nights, an extra area is added to the usual locations containing a control point. Spies will sometimes try to capture it; if they stay there for too long, it will extend the time. To stop them you must locate the Pyro on your cameras and call him with a button that only appears when he's in the area. Pyro will leave that area and after a few seconds will wipe the control point area clean. If the spies manage to capture the point before that, though, it will still add time anyway.
BIG OLE' TEXT DUMP 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.
Looks good so far! Hell, for extra details maybe rare chances stuff will show up in the windows and such? Similar to a Golden Freddy equivalent or such.
Looks good so far! Hell, for extra details maybe rare chances stuff will show up in the windows and such? Similar to a Golden Freddy equivalent or such.
Possible ideas: -The administrator randomly appears in the sewer, followed by her saying "Oh, no. Gentlemen, this never happened" -Saxton Hale randomly on the battlements yelling "AUSTRALIA!" -Sometimes, instead of a normal sapping sound, you'll hear Wheatley instead. Also I've compiled a list of regular and suspicious behavioral patterns for the mercs. One of them has Soldier yelling at hippies out the door.
No haunted animatronics. No reliance on jumpscares. Just strategy, observation, and resource management, with all of TF2’s charm.
So not intended to be scary at all? Just suspenseful as you wait for the Spies to come and get you?
Occasionally one of your teammates will come down to check on you; if you know they’re a spy, use your wrangler to make your sentry shoot through the doorways, or at your teleporter exit, to kill them before they attack you! Be careful though; your sentry’s ammo is limited and there’s no spare metal around to refill it! Each night it escalates as more spies enter the fray!
Aside from the ammo loss, is there any other penalty for shooting at teammates? I'd imagine that the player could get a game over for killing a teammate (although a non-scary TF2-based game might not have friendly fire on, now that I think about it). Also, I don't see the Teleporter in your image, where is it supposed to go? EDIT: [t]http://i.imgur.com/Gw7NjS3.png[/t] I decided to try and make a quick panorama of the intel room in SFM just for kicks (I'm curious, is the halo tool the only reason you're using GMOD over SFM? Because I personally think outlines of clickable props could be replaced with something else or even dropped completely, but that's just my opinion). Also, I'm thinking that maybe it might be possible to drop the second Sentry (probably the one on the left) and place the Teleporter exit there. The Wrangler is there to choose what door you're shooting at, and having multiple Sentries is just more things to code and animate.
