I've already learned that if the fourth entry in a series says, “The Final Chapter” it does not necessarily mean that namesake is correct.

Guys, I think the teaser is a reference to Nightmare on Elm Street.
The Freddy Masks on the his body.
It reminds me of this.

Since you can see Springtrap in the brightened ending of FNaF3 (after the fire), it is possible that he survived, and, probably, the Purple Man inside him did it as well.
One possible outcome of these events is that he somehow managed to crawl out of Springtrap and possessed (new?) Freddy, turning him into a monstrosity.
If all of this turns out to be true, the result will be a famous, powerful and both-loved-and-hated monster who:
1) wears a tattered dark hat and a dark reddish piece of "clothing" which covers his torso;
2) has dangerously sharp "fingertips";
3) likes to smile;
4) was once a mortal man who, after violently dying and coming back from the dead, became even more powerful;
5) survived a fire which happened in an "episode" that has the word "Nightmare" in its title;
6) has overall withered appearance and whose face is dark red and wounded, almost flayed;
7) murdered several people;
8) attempted to kill a person when the said person was passing out;
9) despite being a horrible villain, is the main star of his series;
10) can be called "Freddy".
the fact that freddy looks so fucked up might refer to the hidden word nightmare
what if this is just all a nightmare
who the fuck would give a mascot sharp ass metal teeth, screwdrivers for fingers

What about Freddy meets George? Fred and George are both twins in the Harry Potter franchise, what about Freddy's hypothetical twin brother?
As for him killing children, I know many classic examples for it: using them for sacrifice to some sort of demonic being, then the one in The 7th Guest taking place during the 20's somewhere, with Henry Stauf falling for riches by capturing the souls of children whose dolls looked uncannily alike them so as to summon monsters into the world... and then, maybe Kreuger kills people not just because he finds pleasure in it but also because he hates them as much as I.M. Meen in I.M. Meen (duh!) 'cause kids are annoying in every eye.
The Purple Guy doing it however, might be a conspiracy just to get rid of the Piss joint without much reason to it. Almost *all* villains return to continue wreaking havoc in their fury over losing, but what inspired them? What if the purr-purr dude was raised in a morgue or somethin', maybe his parents were inbred killers who coincidentally had sex after leaving prison during the 60's?
...Speaking of the model sources Scott has for the animatronics, maybe he not simply chose to make FNaF in 2D with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 for performance friendliness, but also because he doesn't want anyone to rip the models and end up stealing credit? After all, the models we have are re-creations.
The other heads kinda look like tiny baby bear freddies crawling out of his body on one of the brightened images. I'm not sure if thats better or worse than them actually being part of his body.
Tiny baby bear Freddies, eh?
Here's a question: Would you rather fight 10 duck-sized Freddies, or 1 Freddy sized duck?
I honestly dont know how this new freddy would tie in with the story
Kinna spooky actually

Maybe this is one of hallucinations that we will see in final game
Manifestation of main character's fears of getting stuffed into freddy's suit similar way the other workers got. So he starts hallucinating and such...
Small freddies may represent the humans whose lives he took away :v:?
The face kinda looks like FNAF 1 Bonnie. Even the way the ears are positioned high on the head.
Fits in with how Scott stated Bonnie would give him nightmares during FNAF 1's production.
Food for thought.
Scott's site updated once again. It's just completely blank with a single dot. Perhaps waking up from the "NIGHTMARE"?

well when Scott's domain was down it didnt have a dot rite?
The "Nightmare" picture (http://www.scottgames.com/4.jpg) doesn't currently show up as well.
By the way, how many fingers does "Nightmare" Freddy have on his hand now?
Because if it is five or at least four and a stump, then he could be the second spring suit (with the other one being Springtrap) that was once worn by a human.
In addition, he seems to have a pair of (semi-transparent?) rings in his eye sockets, partially covering his eyes, similar to Springtrap's ones.
And finally, one of Springtrap's fingers was partially cut, too(nearly a half of it was missing).

Scott pulls a Mario 2 and its all a dream
theres no FNAF4
If this really is the second spring suit and not some kinda horrible dream Freddy, then we're back to square one regarding Golden Freddy and what his deal is

Both the suits were yellow, this one isn't yellow.
I miss when it was just about killer evil robots.
Since FNAF4 is coming, i guess this image quite fits our thread right now :v:

Remember in FNAF3 when Phone Guy mentioned that there had been 'multiple and simultaneous springlock suit failures' at other locations? Did they find the other murderous springlock costumes holed in at another location?
Remember, it was only a day or two after the 'multiple failures' that they holed up the safe rooms. Probably to cover up the deaths?

According to the Phone Guy in FNAF3, the other suit had been found and taken away but the Bonnie (Springtrap) one was apparently ''no where to be found'', apparently Purple Guy took it though.

But didn't he mention that there had been deaths due to golden Freddy+Bonnie failures at another location (other than the one he is at)? He also mentioned there being interim 'safe' suits, which we've never seen.
