Even if Scott doesn't make her appearance worse, it is always possible for him to "enhance" her actions.
For example, Phone Guy could describe the new situation:

For example, Chica would appear in the far end of the nearby hall, after what she would slowly approach you, and the closer she gets, the more carnivorous her face becomes. You can throw her a pizza slice from your midnight snack, after what she would grab it and disappear in the dark.
After you run out of pizza, it becomes impossible to ward her off, and after she gets close enough, she swallows you.
