If it is a nightmare of the bite of 87, I have a question.
Do you..can you still have nightmares if you are missing your frontal lobe?
that's a good question but when the victim survived having a huge chunk of his head bitten clean off in the middle of a birthday party, assuming there was not literally a paramedic right there next to him with already-prepared medical tools, i think scot could pull it off

Purple man was the one that was bitten, that's why he doesn't have a problem killing kids, or anybody for that matter. He doesn't know any better. amazing

But purple man was already killing before the bite of 87.
I'm a bit surprised that no one has offer Scott a job for his amazing modeling skills.
Like these new nightmare animations are fucking rad and his Desolate Hope stuff is just as cool. I'd love to see some of his models in a true 3D game, his work is to good to be limited to pre-rendered stills and animations.
Jeremy Fitzgerald was told he'd get a day shift on Night 6, then Fritz Smith temporarily substitutes him for the 7th one... only to get fired on the first day of his job!
idk the entire fnaf3 finishing off the story and on his site there was something about that beavers game 2 (although that was probably a joke)
i think it's stupid that he's making a 4th one already and if a more famous dev was doing this everyone would be giving him shit; but more power to him it's making him tonnes of money
well the the thing here is that the circumstances are way way different to take into account. bigger companies get flak for their shit because we KNOW it's probably going to be a cheap cash out, with no effort. most likely reusing animations, assets, and generally being a pretty direct copy of the previous entry. and while one could probably say that about fnaf, it would actually be blatantly untrue.
the problem here is that scott has a bit of a trigger finger. these games are on a way smaller scale technologically and mechanically, so making a new one for someone who's had as much experience in clickteam fusion and modeling as scott isn't as grandiose an undertaking as usual. if i had to say exactly what takes the most time from most to least: probably rendering, then animating, then modeling, then the actual programming itself. even then, i'd say that even though fnaf 2 had some weird animation issues, it was still definitely an overall rise in quality. yes, even with the golden freddy head. he added like 6 more animatronics, and new mechanics which proved to be functional and relevant to the gameplay. fnaf3 was probably the most dramatic rise in quality and formula change.
proportionately, i'd say they're completely justified given what goes into the games and the time it would generally take to make such things. the only argument one could use and be understandable is the fact that scott has just been using the same ip. which i guess i get, but it's not a problem personally
Hey guys. Just something interesting I saw on a video, but wasn't addressed here. If you tone down the reds in Freddy's picture and the blues in Bonnie's pictures, they become a shade of yellow. This would make it seem that the game is based in the Pizzeria where we saw golden Freddy and Bonnie in the mini-games. Maybe this game will explain how it all started?
Have a look!

Err, not quite. An active effort to remove just about all red without just making the image black and white leaves Freddy looking more like this
Nightmare Freddy

And removing blue from the image doesn't magically make the purple parts of it yellow. It just makes it more purple

There is a difference between toning down a color and removing it completely. Toning it down means it's still there. In these pictures case, I've brought the colors down to a normal level because Scott used extreme lighting to mask these guys.
If you remove the color completely then no shit you'll get different colors then me. You removed something that shouldn't. For example, if you remove all the green out of a yellow picture you'll be left with red.

Okay, my bad. They're still not that color unless you change the blue to be at yellow. Freddy's is ambiguous and I definitely got to that state when initially removing the red, but at it's core it's still definitely brown there.
Here, I redid bonnie by your standards of just toning down the shade of blue to be at around -50 from it's highlights. It's still blue. Now, what it seems you did was do -50 for the midtones, shadows, and highlights. Of course that'll make it yellow. You can do that on any of the colors and you'll get whatever one that slider is leaning towards. Just sort of trying to see eye to eye here, and deliberately removing blue completely like you did by having it's shading more towards yellow, of course it'll be yellow. No shit you got different colors than me. I mean your wires and teeth also changed color to be yellow.
Also for example with your method. Notice how you changed the reds in the freddy picture to the cyan? that's because it's cyan on the slider. You made it blue, not yellow.

Dumb me and disagree if you want, but your method didn't produce true colors, it produced whatever color was on the slider. Cyan for removing red, yellow for removing blue.
Today in Photoshop:
You can make any photo bias any colour range with the Levels sliders.
You can make them almost any colour of the rainbow because of Scott's very intense (initial) red and blue shading.
Notice some extreme forcing will cause artifacts due to the wonder of JPEG.

Poor chica doesn't get enough attention.
Its the Bonnie show feat. Freddy and Foxy at this point.

Though wasn't golden bonnie the suit used by Springtrap? The teeth are completely different. It can't be the same suit.

To those doubting this, there's a detail a lot of people tend to look over. Both the cardboard Bonnie's have one eye. Also, how it says "Was it me?", could be telling us that Bonnie was the one who caused the bite of 87, which it then would be sad for, hence it crying on the cardboard. (They both have broken left ear as well)
Also, here is a very well made picture of the hidden text in the new teaser which clearly says 'NIGHTMARE'

Another fun thing, the two recent teasers had two main color chemes, red and blue, which makes purple.
I always thought the nightmare bonnie teaser had it more hiding in it's own shadow.
Potentially it's looking at itself in a "what am i/what have i done" matter.

There could be a million different reasons as to why the suit looks different. From the newspaper clipping at the end we know Springtrap escaped, which could branch into the theory that this could take place in a museum. One of the stronger rumors out there is that they were altered to look scary for a museum. This way they'd look as spooky as their stories. Who knows though? It's all just theories right now. xD
On a side note to Thatrandomuser and It's_Me. I used curves in photoshop and selected the color from the drop down so it'd only effect the listed color. I didn't use color balance or levels. I'm not going to fight the idea you can make them the color of the rainbow though. Anything is possible in photoshop.

F-Fan I thought I could trust you...
But seriously these are really well made, makes me wonder if we'll see the fan at least one more time in the last game.

Damn that end was WAY cooler
A lot less subtle yeh but WAY cooler
I have an insane theory that I just thought of after thinking about some stuff. Okay so if you haven't watched the Game Theory video that recently came out I want to highlight what I think was one of the most interesting things pointed out. In FNAF3 you see the Puppet in one of the hallways floating menacingly in place, completely unscathed and unburned. What was pointed out that there is a puddle of liquid nearby that gives off the Puppets reflection, which most likely means that the Puppet is not an illusion and that it is really there.
So my theory is that after we give all the ghost kids birthday cake and send them off to a peaceful afterlife's rest, the Puppet is the only one that doesn't move on. The reason being that the Puppet feels as if it never truly got revenge. Think about it, the Purple Guy is still technically "alive" but not in the sense that you would think. His spirit inhabits the Springtrap suit that essentially allows him to continue "Living" and do what he does and loves best, murder. After all, Springtrap can just freely murder as he pleases and nobody would ever suspect a mostly broken down old animatronic.
Which is why I think the Puppet is still around and following Springtrap specifically. He wants to finish what he started. Which is why I think the Puppet was the one who may have somehow started the fire at Fazbear's Fright in an attempt to destroy Springtrap, most likely by using spooky ghost powers to screw with the faulty wiring and equipment.
It's a weird theory, but I'll be expecting to see the Puppet in FNAF4 as well.
It's a weird theory, but I'll be expecting to see the Puppet in FNAF4 as well.
Personally I'd love to see any or all the animatronics again, I know that probably won't be possible though. I just really love the toy designs and admittedly was pretty disappointing they barely had any involvement with the third game.
I was derping around in Blender for practice and I made a clean Springtrap head. :v:
