so we got john wick™ with the wrong voice, hoxton and half of his voicelines from PDTH,bonnie wich use the old clover voice (not sure tho) and as DLC we got dragan,clover,sokol wich have all nice and original weapons (mostly doesn't have reused parts) and voices. and people who have HM2 digital deluxe have jacket wich is cool too but I think he doesn't count either as a dlc or as a free one.
Something telling me this DLC won't be as good as its trailer.
I know overkill need to do DLC to keep the game alive,but they could do something make a 4th weapon aside weapon pack wich is free,and a mask aside heists. that could both give the freebie a reason to download hundreds of DLC update and that could make a fun little promotion for those DLC

The HM2 "Digital Special Edition" is a really weird thing if you don't play Payday 2. It's five bucks and you just get six remixed tunes from the soundtrack. I'm not sure why the Jacket pack wasn't just a straight-up Payday 2 DLC.
I think paid characters are fair. Lots of voice work, a new perk deck which can dramatically change how the game plays and give you hours and hours of fun, and some new guns which are icing on the cake. Personally I'd rather pay for a Character Pack than a Weapon Pack because those perk decks change more gameplay and add more enjoyment than any weapon ever has. I just find them to be a better value.
Crimefest is just around the corner as well, so we will probably be getting a whole bunch of free stuff then. I also wanna point out that we just got a perk deck rebalance update that changed the way we all play the game in a very significant way and enabled the use of much more varied build options. It really breathed a lot of new life into this game, significantly more than any individual character pack or weapon pack ever has. So Yakuza coming out right after a major update is probably fine.

Why are we complaining about things not being free when things are nearly free right now for a good portion of the DLC? Even a 10 year old with no allowance can afford it.

wow.. were still getting special gimmicky weapons? im still curious if were still clown masked bank robbers or ISIS terrorist armed with dangerous toys.., and YET after all that.. cops get nothing, just the same stupid M4 rifle all day, heck even the SWAT SNIPER has an M4,
overkill is just making the game easier and easier for money, free players still dont have a proper OP weapon, not even an explosive weaponary, atleast give cops more power like us.
