I can't wait to fight Winters and try to shoot him through that view hole and then have my shot blocked as if I hit a solid part of the shield because Overkill. I really hope there is more to him than appearances give off. All this time spent and he's basically just a super shield by the looks of things, I mean, come the fuck on. That shouldn't have taken ages to create.

New inventory screen is nice but should also fix the perk deck problem.

gages page is odd We’ve known about Gage for years. He took a bullet in Afghanistan - rumor is it was from one of his own unit, when he was looting the body of a comrade. That fits his profile. His family have been in the gun-running business for a long time, and he’s well connected. Enjoys a certain amount of protection, but he’s also proven useful to the Bureau on occasion. His operation may put guns on the streets, but when we pick him up and shake him down, it makes it easier to track down criminals. But he’s never given us anything on Bain or the Payday gang. Maybe with the right pressure in the future, we can get him to give us something...

What the fuck, there weren't enough shields in the game already? They're basically already the most common things.

Weapons and mask inventory are now divided into 5 4x4 pages. This also means that there are 8 new slots for primary, secondary, and mask. You can scroll through weapons, masks, and everything else (including perk decks and skills), without entering the actual selection screen. Clicking on a player's name takes you straight to their new stat page. This opens in Steam Browser, and because of how fancy the effects are this is an impossibly slow process.

As some people predicted, Winters isn't actually killable and just runs away after taking enough damage. I can already imagine the situations where he gets stuck on a wall and someone unloads an entire box of minigun rounds on him, and then he just walks away.

and they say these guys are trained with "very specific skills" anyway what happened to upstanding citizen vlad? garret seems to know vlad is connected to us, but before they had no clue, could they possibly figured it out this fast?

Really like the look of the FBI Files and the new inventory. Files look like Battlelog which is a plus in my book. It's fun to read about the characters and such. Can't play today sadly but I can't say I'm looking forward to fighting Winters. Doesn't seem like much fun.

Oh yeah, and it looks like the position of his shield phalanx is static and always the same for each heist he appears in.

He doesn't do anything more than form a phalanx with his buddies and cause a permanent assault until he leaves? No other distinguishing abilities or traits?

Maybe we'll get more "boss" units in the future. That would be a nice addition to the game

Honestly this is a bit disappointing. Even the FBI files aren't that great, I expected to learn something new, you know. They teased the FBI files like it would be full of revelations, but there's nothing like that. At least, the new inventory is nice.

Kinda thought the FBI files might be the PD1 ports, or that the new inventory would lead to suit custimisation (and that's what the COVK secret was). I guess we still have crimefest

By the way, they added back the Deathwish achievement of Train Heist.
