The majority based on what? A few complaints online, where everyone complains anyway? If we're going by anecdotal hearsay I can just say that the majority of pubs I play with can figure out SWAT vans just fine and understand how to avoid them and it would be just as valid. I need to watch more people play because I legitimately do not see the big deal with turrets.
"A few complaints" = Nearly everyone agreeing that vans are stupidly powerful to the point that Overkill plans to nerf them By the way, your assertions that they're just fine is also anecdotal, only you're in the minority Just because you think they're fine doesn't matter, because barely anyone else agrees to the point that the developers acknowledged the fanbase and are going to change them
I actually like them, though some tweaking would be nice but everything could use tweaks. I like how you have to use teamwork to get around them. You get one or two guys shooting at it to distract the turret, while the other guy completes the objective. One time on DW GO Bank the turret was right next to the cage parts so we sent our armored dude out while everyone else distracted. Also adds some much needed difficulty to Hoxton Breakout day 1 where assaults are usually very sparse.
no thanks i dont want paid skins too, i was dissapointed with valve tf2 gun mettle but now payday 2 with skins? jesus christ guys were BANK ROBBERS NOT FASHIONISTA GUNNERS!!!
then skins for all weapons and some skins are exclusive to some DLC weapon, like some urban camo for armored transport etc...

At least keep to one opinion
Also nice, comparing people who can't destroy/evade an overpowered unit (to the point that OVK promised to nerf them eventually) to DSP, who can't perform basic moves to succeed in a simple video game
I wouldn't go as far to compare anyone or anything to what DSP does. Especially since I have my doubts if he isn't playing the whole moron act just to whore for more attention. Is just like they say Even Bad Publicity is good Publicity.

Please tell me how to deal with a SWAT Van using only non-DLC weapons equipped with only non-DLC weapon mods, with no DLC at all really, no mods (not weapon mods, mod mods), and without picking a specific weapon or having to rely on a specific build for the heist just for the sake of the SWAT Van, record you doing so, in a way that does not require a ridiculous ammo/health investment or any of the popular overpowered perk decks (rogue for instance), on a higher difficulty, without 'just walking past it' and maybe then I'll let up the thing is I'm not sitting there wanting to have these things wreck my shit, I'd like to be able to destroy them without an investment that makes it unworth it, but that's just not happening as far as I can tell
So you've changed from "They're fine shut up" to "ok they need tweaks"? At least keep to one opinion
No, don't worry, I've said multiple times before that SWAT vans could use a couple of tweaks, namely being removed from normal and hard difficulties so as to not overwhelm new players with too many new things at once and not stunlocking NPCs. They're fine as a whole past that, however.
people complain about the swat van because when it got released no one knew they just had to avoid it and complained about it,and those people still complaining just doesn't have an opinion
im happy with the swat van, FINALLY COPS GETTING SOME FIREPOWER, but then i was still kinda sad it wasnt a human enemy, though still a challenging opponent, nobody can resist spraying fire at that thing with LMG and ICTV. [editline]20th August 2015[/editline]
then skins for all weapons and some skins are exclusive to some DLC weapon, like some urban camo for armored transport etc...
NO!, JUST NO! GO DOWNLOAD SOME MODS YOU SILLY THING! WHY PAY FOR SKINS WHEN YOU LITERALLY CAN MAKE THEM YOURSELF FOR FREE USING MOD TOOLS? THE FUCK?????!@!!!!!
people complain about the swat van because when it got released no one knew they just had to avoid it and complained about it,and those people still complaining just doesn't have an opinion
How do I "avoid" two turrets with overlapping lines of sight on the only exit out of the election machine building? How do I "avoid" a turret three feet in front of the crate for carrying out loot, in front of a building that is 75% windows? How do I "avoid" two turrets with direct lines of sight to the Vantage Point I paid $20,000 for?
NO!, JUST NO! GO DOWNLOAD SOME MODS YOU SILLY THING! WHY PAY FOR SKINS WHEN YOU LITERALLY CAN MAKE THEM YOURSELF FOR FREE USING MOD TOOLS? THE FUCK?????!@!!!!!
you haven't got my point I think give all the weapon in the game skin to unlock give some weapon either from dlc or free an unique skin that only them can have. damn it's not only about having a gun,it's also about meriting those skins

I found your problem: A lot of people fall into the trap of believing that they absolutely NEED to destroy the turret. You don't need to do that. I occasionally see pubs do this too, and they sit there and fire away at the turret and waste all their ammo and get frustrated. You need to be smarter than that.

Those things always sucked and Swat Vans are not helping that by the nature on how they operate. Though that's a problem with vantage points more than one with SWAT vans.)
tf2 has paid skins
yes i know i hate that too, i literally just said that myself, read my previous post in page 9-10 i actually dont have any skins for TF2, NEVER EVER! neither in CSGO (the skins i have in csgo r free item drops that i dont even use) and i dont want these filthy skins to take over my favourite games, NOT PAYDAY 2 MY 2ND MOST PLAYED GAME, NO JUST NO.
farewell http://strawpoll.me/5269357/r
its a strawpoll who cares
i mean fbi files includes all the skins/materials and i mean the weapon pack purchases allow you to customize your weapons with said skins/materials
still pointless and has no use, DONT ,WANT, NEVER weapon customization pack ... pffft.. yeah.. paying 5$ for customizing weapons with materials... whats the point? afterall third person weapon view are shitty in payday 2, you see your weapons in perfect look in first person but other players see them in third person with ugly look, and only one mod fixes this bullshitery by IM NOT A SPY

Damn that was an awesome trailer
people complain about the swat van because when it got released no one knew they just had to avoid it and complained about it,and those people still complaining just doesn't have an opinion
GO Bank said hi. Even though you can avoid on some heists since it's not on your way is still annoying as fuck, "You just need to avoid it" like it's easy peasy to avoid while it's giving a bullet festival on you. Even with Rogue sucks balls to dodge the turret. Also it forces to players keep going from cover to cover which kind of sucks, especially for heavy armor dudes because some heists actually lacks of cover for it depending of the situation: sometimes the game forces to you go at the turret vision because the cops are spawning close to you

Not always possible, eg I was doing GO Bank loud DW and one parked itself just next to the sewer grid, I was only able to open it because I got lucky with dodge. And slapping one in the middle of Four Stores was an awful idea, I'm half convinced it was done for the sake of shoehorning it as a big update.
I could give half a shit aboht the new guy Finally gonna gdt sokol, GG anD ninja pack Thanks ovk were cool
why are we allowed to customize our masks you can make some downright putrid mask designs but no one cares because its fun the heisters wear their own customized masks, why wouldn't they use custom weapons
masks are different from weapons, criminals can customize their masks to change how they look to not blow up identity, for example: you robbed charlie bank using joker mask, the next week you rob it again with same mask, theyll recognize you, so you could just paint the mask, however weapons have literally no reason to customize, give me one reason why should criminals/thugs/robbers/terrorists customize their weapons, ONE REASON!???
farewell http://strawpoll.me/5269357/r
Yeah, those options are dumb. My issue with turrets isn't that they're difficult to destroy, since it's not impossible to destroy them if you know the ins and outs of the game, it's more that they're not enjoyable to face, and they add basically nothing entertaining to the game. Wow, you just magdump a bullet hose for a minute straight and waste a good portion of your ammo doing so. That was really fun, and a very creative enemy design by Overkill, it definitely deserved to be on the hype train stretch goals, and it gives me a good indication of how good the next new enemy will be. No, fuck you too Overkill. Then you have the gall to tease us by having a feedback thread on the turret stickied for three months, present us with possible changes, and never update us or inform us on anything regarding the turret. Then it turns out there are still currently no plans to adjust the way turrets work, and here we are more than three months without any significant change to turrets except now we can highlight them (big whoop) and they actually move on Meltdown. They're not fun enemies to fight, and ignoring them altogether defeats the purpose of including them to be an obstruction; they may as well not even exist if that's our interaction with them.
that's a shit excuse, the payday gang are notorious, their identities are safe and the masks canonically are their defaults and also, criminals/thugs/terrorists customize their weapons in real life, as do legitimate soldiers and have throughout history remember when they painted pinups on the sides of planes? or phrases on the sides of tanks? like seriously, look at any weapons siege from mexico, those guns have all kinds of shit done to them, ranging from diamonds implanted into them, to pearl grips, to solid gold finishes
phrases on tanks? isnt that just for specific factions? to imply to others that they are from the said army, also what if they customize their weapons in real life? why do we have to do like them in games? its literally pointless, they only customize their weapons IRL to make themselves look rich/wealthy etc eitherway i still dont like this feature and i wont accept it.

It'll go down really quickly. People seem to forget that Payday is a co-op game. It feels like you want to solo kill an enemy that is stationary, appears once or twice in the entire game and doesn't have any abilities with just a few mags of Car-4.
