Like explained above, Simon left the company and shortly after we have an arc about the cops finally meaning business, wanting Bain's head specifically. If you connect the dots it's incredibly likely they'll portray the truth of law enforcement stepping it up by having its own victory against us instead of the consistent failure on their end. It'd show the cops are serious now, remind us the gang isn't untouchable, and be a good reason to introduce new and exciting characters and stories. I don't think they really need Bain. Dallas could take over easy.
We need another Heat Street. Not in terms of difficulty, but to show that the cops mean business and we get away by the skin of our teeth.

If they do it like I worry they will, the Gang will go "EHH FUCK EM" and storm the FBI again and kill the Commissioner and the arc will be done with, with nobody having dealt with any serious consequences at all. Of note is that it would be a pain in the ass to kill the Commissioner so I don't think it's terribly likely. They'd have to change his whole desktop and every page with his notes on it and get rid of his inbox messages and I don't think they'll want to do that, so he's likely to hang around.
That dozer in Hoxton Breakout's trailer wasn't exactly easy as pie to deal with.
In the trailer, yeah, but in game you can just murder him while he spins on his chair.
Payday without Bain is like pie filling with no crust. I rely on that voice to sexually and metaphysically guide me through heists. Without him it's just COD on urban maps.
I don't think killing Bain is the only way to shake things up. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss him if they killed him off.
It's because we're so attached to Bain that his death would be interesting. Now it's up to Overkill to make it interesting.
If they do kill Bain, I hope it's by having a thermal drill dropped on his head.
If they do kill Bain, I hope it's by having a thermal drill dropped on his head.
they can even make it gore "Drilling in progress,300 seconds left"
Perhaps a heist set up different in how its done instead of our typical bag-juggle fest. Timed against the clock, rushing towards where they have him held hostage, blowing everything apart. I think, would work nicely. But that's just a rudimentary idea. In fact I think it would be hard hitting if it always ends with "Heist Failed" at the end, even if you finish it. For once, the game would feel more like the trailers and the movie its obviously inspired by, HEAT. We finished the mission but in the end, we didn't really win. If we're going to push such a big story and universe shift in Payday 2, it should feel strangely distressing and harsh. Loss of a major character shouldn't feel like just another heist or just another thing. I love PD2 and its awesome cheesy B-movie action-fest of missions but if they do decide on killing off Bain, I really feel this is the one time, a no bullshit dead serious presentation would be fitting. Even if its high in action or drama.
Got kicked FIVE times in a row ramdomly yesturday i just joined , five minites pass then kick i wasnt doing anything stupid ... I think three was because host was doing a mass kick but one was so stupid i join a melt down lobby and the host asked us all if all of us had inspire ... We didnt so he has "you guys should leave" "y" "you cant expect to win with out it here" and then mass kicked (note this was overkill and we were all ictv mucles or dodgers) i then went on a another lobby and had a great time fuck the meta [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] That wasnt the whole chat it just boiled down to MUH META [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] Also they wont kill of bain hes too conected He has the dentist and the elephant "but the elephant brought in garret!" But the elephant would'nt want his political engineering being found out would he? Also look how close bain is to garret that police man in the fbi trailer could of just blew garret's head all over the window [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] bloody iphones
I'm pretty sure it was the elephant that told bain about Garret, that's why he had a guy and a tiny dozer camera ready for it.
I'm pretty sure it was the elephant that told bain about Garret, that's why he had a guy and a tiny dozer camera ready for it.
A leak mentioned a new contract from the Elephant, that's interesting. What is more interesting, though, that the new heist is set in LA, and as we have seen in the Jiro trailer, Jiro actually went to LA, not DC. I wonder if it's all related.
What if The Elephant is Jiro's son [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] I'm not serious, guys
What if The Elephant is Jiro's son [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] I'm not serious, guys
What if Jacket is Jiro's son? Think about it, their names both start with J, neither of them speak English, and he certainly looks young enough for it to be plausible.
What if The Elephant is Jiro's son [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] I'm not serious, guys
I'm still betting on that guy that we saved back in Payday: The Heist on Green Bridge. I mean Jiro does say that Bain knows where he's son is so he's most likely holding back at telling him for the time being so he can still have him helping the gang for some gigs in return for the information. But I still have my doubts since the guy on Payday 1 was chinese. Not japanese. Bain also mentions in TH him being the son of some Businessman or something but he could very well be he's foster father for all we know.
anyone here can give me the link to the RTC stats trackers please?
In the trailer, yeah, but in game you can just murder him while he spins on his chair.
They patched that a long time ago, he doesn't get 1 hit kill by everything while on chair like before

You spawn in the safehouse in suits with no weapons and after hearing a distress call from Bain, you gotta go down in a real hurry picking up all of your shit before you can go outside and get into the escape van that you drive out all the way to Bain's personal hideout to rescue him. Like Venomous said, it'd be cool if you arrived and he was all kinds of dead, so you have a timed objective of deleting all of his server shit before the cops close the net and you are trapped in DC.
payday 2 update.
Now even on the official page, it says that there are 70,830 Bulldozers killed out of 70,000. But we still haven't got the reward. Matter of minutes now, I guess.
