To be honest I would be down for adding any mission that could bring back Payday's dark setting that was long lost since Payday: The heist.
I don't know about you but most of the missions we have on crime.net have fallen victim of Overkill's goofiness and their tendency to throw jokes left and right making them more light-hearted. I don't think this actually works that well with a game that is supposedly about these thick skinned criminals making all sorts of dirty and underhanded jobs.
Sometimes I wish we hadn't taken the TF2 route with goofy masks and melee weapons. I mean we used to have that on The Heist but it was just a few of them. Like they were barely noticeable.
there you go

Dallas can't keep up
The baseball bat one is silly
I'm pretty sure the free bat from Overkill's The Walking Dead counts but there's only like, a handfull of heists with gangsters
Hotline Miami is the only heist that has a notable amount of gangsters
[editline]2nd October 2015[/editline]
No complaints on the Bat part though
I love smashing things with one
The order of the chemicals, from bottom to top, is actually the correct order for the cooking process in Hotline Memeroni. Neat
In the lil Steam banner picture that is
so I guess dallas's challenge unlocked the diamond heist remake. Not sure tho.
Is it just me who can't see the page as updated?
was the TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE TSAR intended? or meant to say STAR?
was the TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE TSAR intended? or meant to say STAR?
probably intended, maybe as a reference to The Diamond?
I can't wait for PDTH ports because I like that those maps were all you know heists
Not fighting drug wars but just straight up stealing shit in convulted ways

Panic Room is a rather simple level, but stealing an actual panic room from the middle of a building is still crazy awesome. When I first played it, I was expecting to just drill it open and empty it, but then realized what was actually going on.
If we do get ports. I hope for No mercy to be one of the ported heists.
If we do get ports. I hope for No mercy to be one of the ported heists.
sadly no, the game files doesent point to no mercy becoming ported, also it was a collabration heist.
[editline]2nd October 2015[/editline]
by the way anyone else getting weird constant crashes?
"Hey, buddies! You've gotta pick up the thermal lance!"
That aside, it'd be cool if the final mission of the game was a 'Bain has been found' type of thing. You spawn in the safehouse in suits with no weapons and after hearing a distress call from Bain, you gotta go down in a real hurry picking up all of your shit before you can go outside and get into the escape van that you drive out all the way to Bain's personal hideout to rescue him.
Like Venomous said, it'd be cool if you arrived and he was all kinds of dead, so you have a timed objective of deleting all of his server shit before the cops close the net and you are trapped in DC.
I also was hoping for a jailbreak heist where the crew gets caught and we escape from a gensec maximum security prison
Warden Winters here we come
Would also be cool if it unlocked
"Maskless" mask and a suit customization of the orange jumpsuit

I think gangsters refers to:
Nightclub guards
Hotline Miami Russians
Mendozas and the urban gang on rats
Bikers

The baseball bat is one of the most satisfying melee weapons imo, great fun to use.
Basically I imagine anything effected by the fugitive skill

is updated with the new challenges.
please bear in mind, that everytime OVK pushes the new challenges, im cooking dinner q.q
sadly no, the game files doesent point to no mercy becoming ported, also it was a collabration heist.
A shame since it was my favorite and one of the few PDTH missions to have a stealthable portion.
Payday without Bain is like pie filling with no crust.
I rely on that voice to sexually and metaphysically guide me through heists. Without him it's just COD on urban maps.
said it before and said it again, if they ever replace Bain they should get Snoop Dogg

Added the crimefest site in the op for easy access
my only problem with bain is his new voice, i prefer the PDTH bain voice IMO.

Just you wait until we find a meth lab in Panic Room.
so I guess dallas's challenge unlocked the diamond heist remake. Not sure tho.
That's gotta be it honestly, I have no idea what else a diamond would represent other then that heist since we got a diamond heist in Payday 2 already.
Man, nobody's killing The Traitor. ~400 out 40k :v:
Just you wait until we find a meth lab in Panic Room.
what if this time we're stealing a methlab, wich is inside the panic room?

I dont like that mission personally

It's pretty short even on OVK, in my opinion atleast, but yeah, not really a stand-out heist.
I think I figured out the difference of Payday 1 and 2.
Payday 1 was close to being a "heist simulator" where you die really quickly when outside of cover on every difficulty. The cops all look very similar and stop your plans at every turn. Their goal is to corner you and kill you.
Payday 2 is more like a traditional FPS. I mean you can sprint around with full heavy armor like you're DOOM Guy or some shit. There's also a lot of very unrealistic skills and perks, but it adds it for fun.
Not saying 2 is objectively better or worse, I just prefer the gameplay style, 1 was way too stressful even on normal.
To me payday 1 was just instant fun where payday 2 is more technical and axed around progress
I love em' both. Payday 2 only exists because PD:TH kicked so much ass. They're both pretty different. The mood, the flow of gameplay and etc. Sure, I expected more from 2 but what we have know is still pretty great.
