"Boosting Boots" could be that news choppers will fly above the map sometimes, when it's gone loud?
That would be a cool addition.
the little animation with the chest opening says "reach new height" so I guess it's more movement related
[editline]3rd October 2015[/editline]
but its already there i believe?
only in some maps like Framing Frame D3
the little animation with the chest opening says "reach new height" so I guess it's more movement related
"Reaching new heights" could be a reference to the heisters becoming even more famous thanks to the news choppers.
"Reaching new heights" could be a reference to the heisters becoming even more famous thanks to the news choppers.
Well they are probably already famous worlwide for being even worse than hitler
Not so sure about that.

"move"
"reach new heights"
"boosting boots"
Daredevil buff hopefully

What's your theory then?
Because if I had to choose between news choppers and the heisters getting an exoskeleton armor, I think I know which one seems more likely.
Moving target buff obviously, now we can run vertically too.
Moving target buff obviously, now we can run vertically too.
I just want a kilmer aced, iron man aced, moving target aced build.
it happened again, didn't it

It's up for me.

"Balances equal weights!"
Is unlocked for me. Remember to clear cache and stuff of the site.
1 bullet needs to fit 500 eh?
Also, that sound at the end of the flute is really jarring, I wish it was on the flute.

either parkour related stuff like what the bot does,or a raid on a army lab/whatever where one of the thing you can steal is an exoskeleton you keep for the whole heist.

we're doomed
Was listening to this track;

and I noticed that some of the guitar strings are used for PD2's various objective completion noises, with some slight editing of course. I recognize one of them at around 1:10, though I can't renember if it's the Gage package thing or the generic securing loot cue. This other theme seems to have more of the little sound cues found in PD2. It's pretty neat, and this heavier and more varied style of music definitely would've sounded great in PD:TH.
It would surely be nice of we could get some of the bots their alternative routes
The exoskeleton idea is too far fetched imo
I know I've said this many times in previous versions of this thread, but I really hope they give the rogue skill tree some love and give them the ability to use A.I. climb spots. (4points, use a climb spot, ace 8 points, use a secondary/primary when climbing) With that and cat burgular aced much fun could be had.

You guys have to remember the site doesn't update manually. :v: It's weekend, the office is closed. Our IT man is doing the updates in his spare time from home.

I don't know what the backend is, but it seems like a simple numerical comparison away from being automated...
If $number_by_api > $goal then show_unlocked else show_locked
It could be harder if it had to be released on PD2 straight away, but right now it's just a bit of HTML change, isn't it?

It retrieves the statistics automatically, but the videos have to be uploaded and placed in the code manually. We could probably run it automatically (I'm not an IT whiz, I only know enough HTML to keep my own site running), but you guys would spoil the fun by just finding the videos before you unlocked the goal (à lá Hypetrain) >:v
The exoskeleton idea is too far fetched imo
we already have western and medieval weapons and we're getting a pulse rifle
so an exoskeleton is no big deal
[editline]3rd October 2015[/editline]
so since we're getting driven escape, that mean enemy vehicles,so I hope explosive weapons and the thanatos does some serious damage to them

Neither of those options are "throw bags"
how are they supposed to win?

They could be hidden in some way (change their read permissions, name it some obscure way like FjmVXlImAkJJIQaBhRt5vSdX24H_QgnRDwiddiAnibWRS), but fair point.

That would require having a computer with the files running a software synchronized with the page, which is overcomplicating it IMO.
I guess some javascript hackery could be done to upload files from a computer into their servers, but that'd still require a computer turned on and running processes in the background (which is what a server does)

Wrong, all of it is wrong, the thermal drill is the right answer.
Beyond something a bit disappointing like more ziplines, the boots are either some kind of item or tool. Like perhaps the exoskeleton some of you said, but honestly it is more realistically probably something like a hookshot.
However I feel it leans more to a general movement update, FPS games are finally catching up to TPS games in terms of player movement. Sliding is near standard, vaulting is standard, more and more games are including the ability to climb up chest high walls when jumping or falling. It makes sense that overkill would want to overhaul this for more fluid dynamic gameplay.
The words grace and elan also allude to this. Cops in both games could always slide/roll, and climb. It makes sense that they would be like "The player should be able to do some of this"
