The name of the place on Framing Frame is Capitol Art Gallery. The description on the Crimefest thingy refers to the name of the place not the Art Gallery heist.

It's the same Capitol Art Gallery so it would seem to imply that any heist involving that art gallery where one steals paintings would count, and it's possible that they fucked up and stuck only Framing Frame in there.
I want to know because if I'm correct, completing a whole bunch of Art Galleries would be much easier than a whole bunch of Framing Frames.

if it was the art gallery the challenge's stats would go up faster. and how do you want the guy who made the challenge to be wrong?
I'm more concerned if we'll reach the 30k concurrent players in the game challenge. Outside of free weekends the population usually peaks at 20k.

A question. Do you need to play the game in order to unlock the stuff too? I don't have the game installed since I didn't play it much and want to know if I have to participate to get the unlocks or they are all automatically unlocked for everyone.

You don't have to participate, these things will be unlocked (if they're reached) for everyone.

I'd assume it was automatic, Overkill have a tenuous relationship with it's community already
They can't really follow if you actually worked for it, simply be in the Payday 2 steam group and you're viable for all rewards
The rewards are added as regular updates
some things can't be unseen

Saying the 'wording might be wrong' suggests that the words used are vague, or leave the objective unclear.
What you're actually saying is, 'I hope they completely fucked up and didn't mention the much quicker, one-day heist version of Framing Frames, because I would rather play that a lot than the full heist'.
Which is fair, because Framing Frames is the worst, but you're being stupid hopeful (I really doubt Overkill are that inept), and also kind of a dick to PaperMartin, who pretty easily cleared up that the 'wording' wasn't vague enough to even suggest that Art Gallery would count.
we can still hope overkill change the challenge to something like "finish x heists where you steal painting"
I never understood why people dislike Framing Frame so much. Like I get that the payout is shit unless you stealth the map. And has probably one of the most bullshit camera placement ( the one that faces the vault). But besides that I never had any problems sneaking up the meth to the vault. I always breezed through.
Specially now with the whole re-vamp they did with stealth detection.

Loud being shit and that camera placement that overkill seemingly don't want to fix is already enough. And to that you add that people who aren't really good at stealth will never get it done.
